While he is good at his job he also enshured that Empire goes down shiter moment he or Vader is gone.despite his many flaws, Palpatine is actually superb at his job

Personally I think the CAV PX-10 would be a great purchase. Things are pretty cheap at 25,000 per. They only take 1 crew member. They can cover a wide amount of ground to hunt down these zombies across the vast frontier of Edin. Finally their main weakness to jamming isn't likely to get exploited by a bunch of lobotomized super predators.Of course, the thing your all actually here for. With an upcoming expansion of ground forces, Las will be paying out the ass for stuff. With a mil set aside for troop requisition and logistical support, the total budget for ground vehicles and the like will settle around 9 million credits.
What? No. The Ghost Crew doesn't have a reputation. Just look at Lothal:Here's hoping the Ghost Crew get told to fuck off by the local Rebels because as much as the Ghost Crew help, they also fuck things up.
Honestly, depending on version, it's more batshit insane in Disney and less in Legends, mostly, because in Legend he fully expected to come back via his many contingenciesWhile he is good at his job he also enshured that Empire goes down shiter moment he or Vader is gone.
The Republic is worse and that's the impressive part. Each planet has its own government, most sectors are represented by one of those planets, except the core that gets more representatives. The Senate has limited powers and are really their to barter with each other. Corporate interests can get on the Senate. It's just a point that Empire as a whole is a fiefdom state: a whole bunch of system under a control of moffs, who pay their due to grand moffs, who pay their due to ol' Palpatine. Empire is pretty much a more controlled HRE only because despite his many flaws, Palpatine is actually superb at his job, the moment he was gone? Everything exploded, and only parts of the blast was because of his "in case of my death fuck shit up" plans. And a fiefdom is only as good as its feudal lord and ruler
I am genuinely surprised the clones did not get a seat in the senate, seems like a poor decision on part of whoever was for clone rights (there must have been some ppl who looked at an army of slaves raised in an oppressive environment with the threat of being turned to nutrient paste and thought "man, that's fucked up, they deserve better")The Senate has limited powers and are really their to barter with each other. If anything Palpy system was a step up. It's too bad imperial politics are a knife fight.
Aside from that, remember that the enemy being hunted is using guerilla tactics, so plan accordingly.
So, uh. What kinda planet/environment is Edin? How did the zombies ambush a patrolling speeder? Is it perpetually covered in fog or did they burst out of the ground or something? Are these things really waging guerllia warfare on them or are there just wandering hordes in really thick concealment areas? Those infected people had attacked, and this time it was more serious. A small horde had attacked some patrolmen on their speeders. Only one of them survived, and told tale of a band of these things popping up out of nowhere on their route, jumping at them and tearing apart the other two in mere seconds
Huh, this kinda looks like an armored machine gun watchtowers. Makes me want the R&D boys to bring the walking bunker Pzm-16 Zolw from Iron Harvest into the universe.
Battle droids sound nice but I think it might be a good idea to get some more eyes and ears like the probe droids from the classic battlefront 1&2 games. Not sure how much they cost but if they can be equipped with a deadly self-destruct or orbital bombardement beacons then they gotta be relatively cheap enough to be so expendable right?Whether he gets Imperial Combat droids or get his hands on some CIS Battle Droids doesn't matter
Unless he partners up with CEC (though he has an in with it right now so it might not be impossible) his market will be either small or nonexistent since the corellians have been filling that niche very well for the past thousands of years
It's not impossible that artificially creating Isotope5 (from swtor) could be viable in this day and age since starwars tech can literally do almost anything so perhaps if he got a sample from Makeb his R&D could cook up an energy condenser or smthn since there are planets i universe whose main exports is energy
Op, didn't notice this!Of course, the thing your all actually here for. With an upcoming expansion of ground forces, Las will be paying out the ass for stuff. That seems, eh... kinda pitiful? Like, I know it's an APC, and not a tank, but, you know?Armament
Double blaster cannons (2)
E-Web heavy repeating blaster (1)
I think that's because of how the clone wars was originally written. In the original EU, it was heavily implied the clone wars was originally a series of constant wars over the course of at least a decade between the galactic Republic and multiple factions with all sides using cloning tech, where the clones often went insane via "clone madness"(where clones somehow start remembering their originator's memories and this fights against their programming giving slowly driving many of them insane) and many clones rebeling in the long run causing mass destruction across the galaxy.I am genuinely surprised the clones did not get a seat in the senate, seems like a poor decision on part of whoever was for clone rights (there must have been some ppl who looked at an army of slaves raised in an oppressive environment with the threat of being turned to nutrient paste and thought "man, that's fucked up, they deserve better")
Just use an AT-TE, it's better in nearly all aspects
It's "ww2 in space" ... and the germans loved casemates/assault guns (since they were often the only vehicles they were getting to support the infantry due to the resource shortages) and they would not shut up about them, since they then rewrote history to make many myths settle into the subconcious of the people beyond the iron curtain and writers fucking hate doing actual research that's more than just skimming the books and those same "facts" found their way into star wars since it's "ww2 in space"
The republic stuff probably since it cut down on the cost & production times (turrets are a pain in the ass in nearly all aspects despite their obvious utility),I've seen the GAR casemate tank and the CIS Tall-boy, but I think neither of those has an actual, rotating turret like most conventional tanks of today have. Why is that?
ahem, the Thermal detonator, a hand held NUKE.
I know this, his happens because of the force, it gets confused because clones are a exact copy of a individual so it tries to "fix" the clone however because this clone has its own set of memories and personality it causes problems that lead to the madness.linkwhere the clones often went insane via "clone madness"(where clones somehow start remembering their originator's memories and this fights against their programming giving slowly driving many of them insane)
Yeah, its a mix of rapid aging, clone madness, and the Clone Rebellion, otherwise the clones were given multiple choices at the end of the Clone Wars, 1 stay in the Army and continue as before, 2 retire and become a instructor, 3 retire in general(with a good package). Then this slowly developed over multiple books implication (but never outright focused on series of details) was retconned for episode 2 and the setup in the books was rendered null and they had to come up with new reasons. As far as i know the new reasons were the accelerated aging never stopping as well as the clone troopers being turned into storm troopers and spread across the galaxy as trainers for civilian recruits across the galaxy ( and of course, just not having enough time to write new EU stories detailing their lives In the empire with the new version of the clone wars taken into account before Disney showed up)...
There are some, they just aren't common.

Yea but I think the clone madness was something that in the long term affected a large percentage of clones of non force users, and all clones of force users failed even properly form(with the thrawn trilogy showing a loophole for how to grow a force using one ).know this, his happens because of the force, it gets confused because clones are a exact copy of a individual so it tries to "fix" the clone however because this clone has its own set of memories and personality it causes problems that lead to the madness.link
Hmm... how much do LECAs cost? 'Cause between the tough armor, shields, and heavy automatic weaponry they seem tailor-made to turn zombie hordes into chum efficiently.Of course, the thing your all actually here for. 100% agree. Cute baby not-force-kitty being spy master and shadow-emperor behind the puppet governor is headcanon. Praise our shadowy adorable overkittyI don't recall who The Web is/is run by so I choose to believe Mugwuffin in a paper plate mask

Everyone has the force, but not everyone can harness it.Yea but I think the clone madness was something that in the long term affected a large percentage of clones of non force users, and all clones of force users failed even properly form(with the thrawn trilogy showing a loophole for how to grow a force using one ).
1st, they aren't actual guerrillas, their Zombies, and they seem to like burrowing. 2nd I don't think Edin is ever mentioned to be a Jungle planet. 3rd, ... did-did you not read the story? The LAAG already exists!? and that's what a AT-ED is.Viper Probe Droids to find the guerrillas, and something like a Lambda or Imperial troop transport to shuttle troops to them and provide oversight and fire support. Paratroopers would be best for that, especially in the jungle. Unfortunately the empire doesn't really have a good air to ground assault ship. Fortunately you can make one!
Behold! The LAAG

Edit: you could just get swarms of viper probe droids and give them more blasters instead of all those manipulator arms. That would be horrifying.
They were already called the chapter before, remember? And it doesn't seem to be Rakghols as the survivor didn't turn, and neither did the attack fit with the modus operandi.Rakghols huh? Better call the Inquisition and get ready to Base Delta Zero Edin.
