    I think the thing I wanted to tell you most about is how there's this Chinese trope where cats refer to their owners as "shovel officer" or "shovel minister", as in the owner shovels their shit out of the litter box and that's their duties, and this means the owners are actually underlings who wipe the butts of cats. Anyway, Eevee keeps calling the SI "shovel officer".

    So there's a Pokemon character in Gold/Silver named Earl Dervish (Giovanni in the Japanese lmao), whose Chinese name is "初始", which means "beginning" or "initial", so those MTL Pokemon stories keep saying "Earl Dervish Pokemon" when they're supposed to be trying to say "Starter Pokemon" because no one fixed this error in the MTL's word bank.
