  • Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com. Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
  • Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
  • Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
  • The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.

And his inability to fly, seen several chapters (C13) ago, implying his constructs aren't working either. He's been forced to use the armour to fly.

    How? His rings aren't working.

Indeed they are! I had a thought, though; the Controllers only care about the number of 'universe-ending calamity' scale threats out there. How many of those actually exist? It's DC, so more than probably should. Anti-Monitor Starbreaker Darkseid Mageddon Some of the more exotic New God tech...

What I'm concluding from this is that either Diana is going to leave earth for centuries, or she's going to abandon the rest of the sentient universe to these guys, or she ends up going with one of Grayvauls very renegade alternatives.

Because he's not a... Ringsmith? He didn't make the rings and as this is Grayven not Paul, would struggle making more of them. He doesn't have anywhere near the same investment in understanding the mechanics of the lights specifically.

Because despite the importance of the emotional moment for Her it is pretty trivial in comparison to all of time and space in even one universe, and his brevity of regard for that makes it feel like he doesn't value the accomplishment of his own goals.

No sighting of Batman 50, though. That may have consequences long term.

It's basically permanent super-depression, except you're also not sad about it. A combination of lack of will to live, zero drive, and disinterest in the world, but also no interest in being interested, and no sense of loss because of it.

Could also be something totally out of left field; Truggs, for example, is well aware of the power of the Orange Lamp. I don't think it's terribly likely, but we've had these 'root-cause-is-actually-totally-something-else' interjections before.

Yellow Flash from the Other Side

This doesn't read like Bwonsamdi. It's not an accent he puts on, or an act, it's his syntax and his nature. I'd expect it to be a bit of a pain to write him, his syntax is pretty unique even for a troll, because he's very rarely serious, and it allows him a lot more wriggle room in his deals...

    Enter the Dragon (Harry Potter/Shadowrun)

Everyone who actually knows or understands this level of magic is asleep/hibernating or long, long, long dead. Either it'll be discovered by the intrepid professors of Hogwarts, or they'll not know until after it happens.

Complete Detachment (Star Wars Prequel SI)

As the author has noted, just because we, the viewers/readers have no canon information, doesn't mean that the in-setting universe also has no information. If anything, that's hilariously unlikely, given the sapient members of the species right there. Just means he can create his own for it...

Honestly? Yeah, probably. I've long been of the opinions that large governmental bodies, particularly parliamentary ones, are useless. Either they're ineffectual and constantly self-conflicting, or they're corrupt as hell. Circumventing that according to my principles, if I had the means, is...

I mean, it's not a story most Jedi would tell you either. Assassinating delegates to a democratic body specifically so that they can't be heard is a hallmark of facism. Without all the additional context, this can very easily become a skewed truth.

Everyone from QQ wake up as their Avatar, what's the first thing we do in real life?

I feel like I make out pretty well (Morphling). Essentially a water elemental that does what it wants, because it's made of water. Including water vapour. Social activity is probably a downer, but I'm sure I could work out how to talk eventually.
