I have no problem with cliffhanger or the multiple point of view as people react to cam reaching for the dark side. It's well executed and make for a great chapter !
I do however find that there is some contradiction in how cam approach gamer mind. I don't really care if he uses it or not in the last three chapter, I just find how he justify it to himself quite discordant (which is completely subjective). I will try to explain where that feeling of wrongness come from fo me.
As the first point, I can't comprehend how adrenaline can give better reflex and speed compared to force speed and bullet time ? Just look up this video of Qui Gon and Kenobi VS Trade Federation Droids and how they evade with a speed no hormone reaction could improve in anyway. While it could be a good thing when not using or being able to use said powers it does not feel like it would add anything to them. Worse it come at the price of loosing focus and clarity of thought which are critical in battle. And Cam as a military man should be aware of that. It may be a crutch that needs to go but now is the worst moment for tossing it away.
He did forget about player mind when that whole fiasco came about and could still forget about using it now especially after finishing a fight to the death just to be shot. It would flow better to him tapping the dark side than any justification for not using the power.
This is the second point. This monologue is completely irrelevant to his current critical and deadly situation. It might be caused by his wound and things happening too quickly to catch a breath. That would however be a point for player mind as it not only mute emotions but help to keep focus and think clearly.
It is however a good point. It would benefit him to learn better emotional control which he should do in a safe environment. He did abuse player mind a lot. It's one thing to use it to escape palpatine and the jedi council notice and another to use it whenever he is rattled.
I just can't help feeling that would have been something to leave for the next chapter as him not using player mind was what led to him almost dying. He didn't remove his bracer with the code when he decided to radio in for a rescue to try in another place and the krayt dragon appeared. I would imagine that in the near future when reflecting on how this is not a game (good character growth !) he would think about when to use player mind and that point could be made there.
As a last point I would point out the lack of logic in using the fact no one else as player mind as an argument as no one else as a minimap or an inventory and Cam use them with relish. The other argument like is talk with Serra and feeling unnatural when cutting off his emotion are perfectly valid points and do not need additional justifications to explain his desire to not use player mind.
Those are the points I feel made an impact on the discordant feeling the Cam PoV part of the chapter left in me.
Keep up the good work, I'm thrilled to see Fay reaction and the result in next chapter !

I considered activating Player's Mind but decided against it. Before I'd removed it from the default combat abilities that auto-activated – and thus why it didn't activate automatically while running for my life from the greater krayt dragon – I'd come to realise that even though it was countering my emotions during combat, it was also slowing my reactions. Emotions, and the chemicals a body created in tense situations, helped one focus if harnessed correctly. And while this body was still growing and maturing, I felt it was now time for me to begin to learn to handle those reactions so that there was less risk that an unexpected emotional reaction in the future overrode my control and cost me my life.
While Player's Mind wasn't active, my adrenaline was pumping, and I felt I was still moving and reacting at a decent enough level to keep fighting; levels that I'd lose if Player's Mind was active and limiting my emotional responses. Of course, that was before Force Speed and Bullet-Time were taken into consideration as even badly injured, they still made me move faster than most normal sentients could track.

Plus, there was also the fact that if I relied on it to maintain control over my emotions, I was cutting myself from a part of myself, which would make my discussions with Serra regarding the Force and emotions completely hypocritical. And yes, not using Player's Mind was also cutting off a part of myself, but that ability was one no one else had and something I felt was disturbingly unnatural, thus to not use it was the lesser of the two evils when dealing with denying a part of myself.
However, I suspected that there were going to be times where using it would be advantageous; like dealing with the High Council when I didn't want to give any of them the satisfaction of getting an emotional response out of me.
