After chewing and savouring the taste, I swallowed the bite. Raising my blade above my head, the steak sliding down it as gravity and the incredible sharpness of the blade worked to further cut it, I smiled out at the crowd.

"Haili cetare!"
Fill your boots?
lol.
Curious, is he going to inventory a portion for Serra?

That was a great chapter. I'm looking forward to a window into Coruscant politics, and what Cam and his masters do next to get away from Coruscant politics as soon as possible.

I was a bit surprised at the mention that some of the Jedi wanted to lock Cam up as a threat. He hasn't actually committed a crime, and it's not like the Jedi can do whatever they want, Republic laws against things like kidnapping be damned.

Actually they have a special prison for it

I think I missed something but why is Cam the "bad guy" between him and Naz? Didn't she force herself on him.

Because even though shes an adult by law shes still a teenage girl that just got rejected by the guy she likes, Cam is guilty not for stopping it but for hurting his friend

Yeah, it's the way he did it. While I reasonably can't say he deserves any blame, it's still him that really brushed her feathers, while he could've rejected her an other way.

Doesn't Bo's comments about Cam's potential as a leader imply that Naz maybe had an ulterior motive with her advances.

Very, very nice finale to the arc.

Loved it, especially the atmosphere of the ceremony.

Glad there was no child on child action. I'm very proud of the man for keeping with his principles and not crossing that line.

Dude almost died and probably still on pain meds plus the brush with dark side. Of course he was going to put his foot in ihs mouth

The Naz thing has to be resolved ASAP. If its leading to further drama down the road I'm out.

Also. Really tired of mandalorians right now(never thought I could be). Hope we will move on soon to other things!

And on another thing all together.
I'm sooo tired of protagonists having a super duper special colour in their lightsaber. Him having a dark saber colour makes the true dark saber not special at all. It's actually really boring in my opinion. Hope it gets destroyed later down the line and we return to more normal colours.

Other then that good chapter.

I think you missed my point. Yeah, they've got a special prison in canon for dark jedi, but my question wasn't whether they are physically capable of holding people force users who haven't broken any laws, it's whether they're permitted to. Touching the dark side all by itself isn't a crime. How would they even prosecute it? And aside from the problems of proving it, a hypothetical dark sider who never harmed anyone is essentially just a religious minority, and you can't throw people in jail for that in a free society. So the prison is for people who go dark and start killing people and so on as a result. Committing other crimes that justify prosecution, after which they can then be imprisoned at the special facility.

Without Cam going nuts and going all dark lord, all the Jedi can do is kick him out. Which would be the last thing they want to do if they're smart, because if you think someone's a dark sider you want to keep as close an eye on them as possible and try to bring them back. Letting them loose would be idiotic.

No they have a special prison nobody knows about not just one to hold but one to hold without trial

Citation needed, I think. The only secret Jedi prison I can think of anywhere in canon didn't even exist until the clone wars, and there's nothing about holding people without trial. You might be thinking of what the Empire did with it after they took it over.

First this is a complete EU(legends) story not Disney canon, and its the Prism, the government doesnt even know about it only the Jedi high council

Yeah, that's the one I thought you were referring to. It didn't exist until the clone wars, and there was nothing about throwing people away without any trial, only that the Council were the only ones who knew where it was located.

It was made during the second great schism dude

Ah, I found that part, you are correct. It was built earlier, but from the available dialogue between Yoda and Kenobi it wasn't used in the pre-Clone Wars era, only once the war had started, and even then they intended to bring the ones they detained there to trial. It's not great that they were detaining them without it, but it's not a secret prison that the Jedi kidnapped people to and ran for seven thousand years.

And it's only ever mentioned in one comic series, anyway.

So? Its still part of the verse, the Jedi have definitely detained without trial and have sent out kill teams to kill fallen Jedi without anything but them having fallen

Because there's a lot of crazy stuff in the extended universe that's only ever mentioned once, so you kind of have to look at how often something shows up to get a sense for how canon it is. And again, did you read the part about how none of that was a thing until the Clone Wars? We're before the Clone Wars. None of that is a thing in the story right now, even if the author goes with it as existing at all.

No, when writing a fic/story you also need to look at it it fits the story and the prism does and I'm sure I can convince him to add it in
