Flight is an original FFT Bard ability. Since skills from other FFT games are okay, it should be as well.
It'd probably be one of your two original skills, mind. But then again, in FFT A2, Gria can fly, they're recruitable, and it doesn't use an ability slot for them, so maybe not.
Afraid I never really touched the bards - everything tended to just die outright to my three calculators... .

Thanks, that helps.

I might want join this RP, though I don't know anything about FFTA...

Plus, Flight was just literally worse than Teleport.
Costed like 50,000 to learn instead of like 800, and Teleport did everything it did, but also included the possibility of going further than your maximum movement, with a chance to fail.

Character Sheet: Patchouli Knowledge
Well, here goes.

Name: Patchouli Knowledge
Age: ~335
Gender: Female
Species: Human*
Series: Touhou Project
jw7Pekw.jpg
She does not have a very proactive personality, save for cases where magic is concerned. If her divinations predict that an earthquake could threaten her library, she would storm heaven to stop it, ending a streak of nearly a century spent living in said library reading.

Patchouli is in many ways a traditionalist magus, guarding her secrets jealously and sharing with as few as possible. The key here is, again, knowledge. To learn is her ambition, to understand is her purpose. When all the secrets of magic lay bare, she will be satisfied briefly, before turning to another field leaving behind shelves of notes.
Perhaps somewhere in the numerous shelves of Voile there lies an autobiography. Perhaps if one were to ask her friends, one might get a story.

Short of looking in a library not in this world, or asking people who did not come with her, one is left with little but an enigma bearing an assumed name. Patchouli guards her secrets well, and it would take someone of great skill to learn those secrets from her.

Knowledge is, after all, power.
Job: Sorcerer
Job skill:
All Magics
Support Skills:
Damage > MP
Half MP
Weapon: Book(s)
Other: ????

*Close enough to pass casual examination, at least.

... I hadn't noticed before, but the skull Patchy is using to hold her writing utensils appears to have a monocle. Am I the only one seeing that?

Ah, Magicks is rather nonspecific. That's more than thirty spells, if you include all the spells in TA.

Well, I'm afraid I'd have to axe stealing people's hearts, the Guardian, laser spam, anything related to transformation, and giant health draining death balls. Flying, Teleporting, barriers, and the like are possible under, ironically, white magic.

How mych laser is laser spam? I get that I won't be doing this

any time soon, but a Mansex without his lasers is just a menacingly sulky man in a cool robe.

Make a custom spell for it.

I mean, Scathe is a thing.

(Attacks in a line with somewhere around -ga level power.)

It could be a standard, attacks in a small area spell with multiple small hits.

Wonder how much of a nerf I'll be getting.

Probably enough that I won't be able to (easily) send people to the moon with a faith-powered rocket.

And see, that's what I'm talking about.
With the nonspecificness of what you can do. Sages can't do that.
Which is why I went for a class that was, from what I can tell, used to represent magic users with abilities exceeding standard. If specifics are needed, though:

In battle, her abilities are basically elemental magic (though with seven elements, rather than the black mage's three). It's what she's practiced enough to use when time is a necessity.

Out of battle, her magic is versatile enough as to basically be a plot device*, though not always the most effectively directed. For example, she once read about sunflower orbiting the earth, and tried to recreate the spell from the description. The result was a literal orbiting sunflower.

*Pictured is the rocket she made when asked for a way to get to the moon. Don't remember how long it took to make. Long enough for a somewhat rushed training session to happen, but not long enough to really fade into the background.

Also, those kinds of out of combat abilities tend to not be included in Final Fantasy characters's abilities anyway. Cid hasn't had an 'Airship Construction' skill that I know of, for example.

That said, I didn't see any sections where I could quantify things like that, just a spot for picking out two skills (which I'm still not sure if Job Skills are meant to be there).

Name: Mordred
Age: 18? (Not actually known)
Gender: Female
Species: Counts as Viera for species purposes. Mordred is none too happy about that.
Series: Fate/Apocrypha
tumblr_nxkf20UP0R1tgkg4yo1_1280.jpg
Personality:
A rough and tumble girl with amnesia. Tends towards being a tomboy, and doesn't particularly like being addressed as a woman. Strong willed and somewhat insistent, and seeks the attention of others. Has a fairly strong sense of justice, and addresses what she views as problems with a knightly demeanor.

Bio:
The 'son' of King Arthur who was defeated and defeated Arthur in turn upon the hill of Camlann. Appeared in Eorzea with grievous wounds and no memory. A mysterious girl who rapidly rose through the ranks of the Round Table due to incredible swordskills and a recommendation from her mother.

Job: Rune Knight (FFT). Due to replacing the Fencer job, all jobs that require Fencer become unavailable.
Skills: Swordplay (Children abilities include Stasis Sword, Split Punch, Crush Punch, Lightning Stab, Holy Explosion, Shellbust Stab, Blaster Punch, Hellcry Punch and Icewolf Bite).
Weapon: Knight Sword/Greatsword, Clarent
Other:Swordplay techniques may only be used if a Knight Sword or Greatsword with the holy attribute is equipped. Clarent is a Knight Sword bearing the Holy element. Takes extra damage from attacks that deal bonus damage to dragons, but lowered damage from all magics.

Well, I submitted my Archerko sheet (gonna do this in private because I don't understand shit).

I'm not sure how well she will fit into the system considering that EMIYA/Shirou/Archerko's powers are all about being versatile...
