Dead

Ok... So, can we do something like a sudden building - scale artillery attack or meteor shower or just drop a giant rock on the house? Immediatly after destroying wards, of course.

Hmm... Choices, choices. Very tough choices.

Flabbyknight, what type of things can we prep? Quickening something? Some kind of magical trap/buff/debuff? What type of options do we have available on the magic side?

Thank you! Obviously, we need to buff our ally, we can apply many buffs, right?

What about warding Emma trapted into the building? With Aisha and Necros working together, they could bind her to a circle.

changed vote to:

[X] Prep first
-[X] Buff Hollow man (and yourself) with Armor, Deflection, and Improved Invisibility; as well as any spells that will allow him to see and/or harm the bees.
-[X] Dismiss Moves Like Wind, summon the spirit of Emma's house, have it tell you where Emma is and what kind of defenses she has. If it's a level 9 spirit or higher keep it, otherwise dismiss it, and summon a level 10 spirit to use in the attack.
-[X] Ask for Hollow man for one of his explosive alchemical potions (grenades), to have as a contingency.
Attack strategy.
[X] Somewhere in between
[X] Other - Explain attack plan to Hollow man (we're going in fast, but cautiously, we want to kill her before she can muster her full forces, but don't want to run recklessly into a trap), and ask for his input.

Hmmmmm...is it even remotely possible to hack/suborn her wards so that they are now hindering her and helping us? I doubt this is a thing in Shadowrun because it's seriously BS and a gamebreaker but with all of the other shit we have going on and our power level compared to hers I would think it might be plausible.

We also just gave her a pretty heavy punch to the psyche/soul so she's probably not at peak condition right now either, which would make it easier to steal control of the wards from her since her focus is likely shot.

Just want to know if this is even something Necros could even attempt before figuring out a vote for it.

I'm guessing the next chapter will be the last-minute preping for the attack, and the attack won't actually come until the chapter after.

We could attack Coil's old weapon deposit and steal some weapons to use against Emma.

We could summon a gas elemental and let it loose in Emma's house. Then throw in a match.

Is there a way we could nonlethally disarm Emma from her connection to her Bee drones?

She's a asset to closing the breech, a virgin sacrifice is powerful blood magic. she could even be a asset to the Guild as a force multiplier in the meantime.
No she isn't. She doesn't know shit about the breach. Taylor and Aisha know more magic.

Virgin sacrifice? Maybe.

And the guild? It's lead by Dragon and not one of our allies.

Soul eating bees are only a multiplier if you can control them. Figure out a way to do that first, because there's no ground to stand on otherwise. Right now they're trying to kill Taylor dead.

Guys, did you not forget the likely possibility that Emma and the entirety/majority of her hive are possessed? (which is extremely ironic, by the way)

Those plans are good, but you didn't even mention it, so I felt the need to bring it up.

The bees eat souls, I was pretty sure they're just plain dead.

Emma might still have hers, but she made a pact. You kinda can't get out of those can you?

Is it possible to save Emma, sure. Is it likely or easy, not really. At this point the only way to save Emma from herself would be to severe her magic completely ending her connection to the insect queen, which is possible through the processes known as burnout. However to induce burnout you pretty much have to put the subject through prolonged brutal torture using drugs and extensive surgery. The only other way is if Emma summon's her queen and then you kill it, this will destroy her magic completely, but also shatter her mind. With time you could probably nurse her mind back to health. Maybe there is less horrible method know by someone in your collective, but there is no grantee of that.
So basically... No, unless we're willing to let Emma eat the souls of thousands of innocents. If we beat her, but she survives, we can try Burnout... But we need to aim to kill.

Our only other option is giving control to another voice in our head, and hoping that works out.
A virgin magic user that has the blood of her Mother on her hands, that is a powerful sacrifice.

Thats simple, we Master Emma.
Ah, Mr. Negotiation has finally joined the saner side and decided Emma NEEDS to die.

And we don't Master people, we Glamour them. And as a magic user, especially one with a deep-seeded hatred of us, Emma could likely resist/negate it completely. Gotta use D&D rules for D&D skills, since they're not shard-based.

That said, when/if Emma's on the verge of death, we likely could successfully glamour her, but most D&D rules would allow her to break it as soon as she got enough rest.
And the guild? It's lead by Dragon and not one of our allies.
Dragon doesn't lead the Guild, she's just a member. I wanna say Narwhal leads the Guild, but that might be the Canadian branch of the Protectorate...

I'm fairly sure Dragon's restrictions would prevent her from leading a group such as the Guild, though membership does loosen some of them.

She needs to die to close the breach, we lost diplomacy when Necros tore a hole into reality. we either Sacrifice Aisha or we take Emma and use her. It's simple moral mathematics.

Where is this information coming from? Did I misses something?

Killing Emma doesn't close the breach, it gets rid of the Bees.

No idea what the breach thing is about. Emma needs to die because she is a crazy psychopath that sold her soul and will be trying to kill us.

We should not have mercy for the bitch.

Then Aisha dies because she's the only virgin magic user that Necros know of. we need to start thinking of a way to capture Emma alive.

... Why does Emma dieing lead to Aisha dieing? Seriously. I have no clue what your going on about because I honestly doubt that would happen.

Also, in case you didn't know, Necro's is still a virgin as well. Not for a lack of trying mind you.

Emma might be possessed by Rana because we invaded the Hive-mind and opened up our mindscape to it, allowing many prisoners to piggyback off the connection to displace the current occupants of the various puppet-bodies of the hive (and likely Emma herself) to use for themselves (involuntarily, according to the Rana scene).

Snake/Eater needs to elaborate on what breach he's talking about, because it's either related to Necros, The Song of Awakening, or our recent mind-meld with the hive.

If it's the latter, it might be already closed, but with people missing from their 'cells', per member of the hive. In that case merely closing the breach (if it's still open) won't solve the problem. We would need to cajole, or force people back into our mindscape, or just let it go and leave them/kill them.

If it's the 2nd one, it won't help because the Song Of Awakening is still out there and out of our control, making another breach easy and likely to happen.

The first one similar, in case our very presence and magical abilities are letting outer-beings peer into this world.
