There's a scary unlikely thought

A Ghost deciding to turn some Raptures into Guardians….most don't have the intelligence or ability to speak that Chatterbox has, so it won't do much

But that a "godmachine" can be possibly taken and stolen from and conquered via "regular technology"

I'm saving it for later - the implication in this story will be that he lost it dueling Saint (Shaxx may have been the one to initiate the headbutt here, cause his helmet has horns).

Edit: given Saint ribs Shaxx about losing said horn, I'm going to recant my statement and have the real reason be that he lost it in a duel with Saladin after the Six Fronts.

I'm almost done with Destiny 1, finished all the DLCs minus Iron Lords(needs Light 280, I'm only 241 and a fireteam) but not the extra optional quests

I guess in hindsight, there would probably still be a lot for the NIKKE to do. Lots of patrols though the surrounding planets and the rest of Earth.


Thing is, they're NOT truly immortal like Lukas' is, surprising that he let them fight for so long without him. I'd be afraid of being put in command, because of all the lives depending on me.

It means that Rapi will not get his over spec version Rapi: red hood because he already has the power of the guardians and I don't know how he will fix things with absolute. And it seems that absolute will not get the improvements from chapters 33-34 of the game either because again the ark no longer exists.

Ingrid then reveals what she knows regarding NIKKE and Memories/Personality/Data

A good enough vision of a character/person, could essentially replicate that one, abilities included

That's likely how Absolute got their upgrades and will be so for other NIKKE, a strong enough sense of self and strong "persona/ideal self" that they can grasp could make a super version of themselves

Here how would it be? Maybe they tried to do it in the game but unlike the game, the program failed or the commander of the game died in the prologue and Lucas found him on the surface at some point.

Because Lucas is from another world and I doubt he would allow either and mana to have studied him without his permission before the fall of the ark.

But with the Ark destroyed and the research lost, I wonder how MMR will do research because I doubt that the vanguard will allow them to do inhumane experiments.

Also, how do resurrections work in Destiny or what do you have to do to have a ghost?
I wonder why you said Rapi is also resurrected which makes me wonder if she was killed by the Vex and taken.
I'm just asking because I haven't played destiny in years and I forget certain things...

Yes, the fact that the MC is a clone of the legendary commander in the game certainly ruins the experience because clones are already too overexploited like Kingdom Hearts with Nomura and his clones.

When they return to Nikke's world, I imagine that Behemoth and the 4 beasts will appear and explain why the Vex ignored them or how they escaped.

As I said, I haven't played Destiny for a long time and I forgot several things about the lore.

But even if MMR recovers data, I doubt that the Vanguard will allow them to carry out shady experiments since they will not hesitate to possibly kill them and close their doors permanently, in addition to possibly Zavala and Ikora will demand that any information from MMR be delivered to them and high-ranking officers. for a review.

When the time comes to attack a Vex base or hideout and take it, I imagine that the Nikkes will take it personally for the fall of the Ark and Eden and destroy all their efforts.

Though, as I have heard before, simply wearing different clothes and how you behave and bear yourself, can make a BIG difference. "Clark Kenting" is real.

Could also be that the Legendary Commander was in his late twenties to thirties, so the resemblance isn't obvious due to age difference(I think the MC is around 20)

That said, yeah, cloning does feel like it cheapens a character's accomplishments. Kengan Omega had the revelation that two main characters were clones of an extremely ancient "immortal" sage. So it's implied they're so great at fighting due to their genetics. Though even said sage, admits a LOT of it is to do with sheer experience, training and self correction. In theory, anybody could do what he does. And he may actually be right, going by what simply following his pointers does.

Though everyone is gonna get nervous once they see the vents of Shadowkeep. I'm planning on having everyone make all these boasts when Lucas goes inside the pyramid that die the minute they hear the first bit of dialogue from the final part of "Beyond": "Welcome. We've been waiting."

The current event, "Wisdom Spring", starts leaning heavily into the theory that the Commander is a clone of the Legendary Commander (who is heavily implied to be Andersen).

Wait, Lukas' a human albeit a Guardian, not an Exo, the closest thing to a NIKKE in Destiny

So how does that work? He doesn't have a cyber brain, not sure if Destiny Armor is Power Armor or if the helmet actually comes with a HUD. So it would more likely have records.

Funny, reminds me of that fic on Wattpad, Elegg points out that the helmet shouldn't even function. There's no exhaust port and it should be constantly heating, or something for how it can process so much data.

In hindsight, Destiny tech advanced enough that living off grid but being technologically advanced, is more easy to accomplish. What with things like Glimmer being something that can be made by dismantling armor and weapons and be used to make em again.

It explains how Guardians can be away from The Last City for a long time and NOT need repairs and resupply for things like ammunition….course maybe enemies really do drop convenient ammo

Not sure how all the Pilgrims could operate without infrastructure to make ammo for their stuff. Then again, Snow White was a genius gunsmith before becoming a NIKKE and has the tech still.

Can it penetrate through sheer memory loss? Guardians are reborn without memories

I think it's implied that even with a total memory wipe that destroys much basic knowledge so as to leave one a toddler, as shown with Marian/Modernia, traces will remain

Mihara remembering Yuni more at the end of Wordless, may show that there is something of a soul involved, something inviolable even past all the alterations, there is a memory of sorts

Course, NIKKE and Guardians are two different things

One is made with a poorly understood ClarkeTech, the other is admittedly still ClarkeTech but involves cosmic forces
