idk how the fuck you would expect him to be be calm enough with all that happened to actualy fucking come up with a good viable way to save her
He used 2 seals 2 minutes ago. And he needs at least 1 to keep the contracts. He just used a command seal 2 minutes ago to recall. He has servants.
Servants that are, as mentioned in the tactical assessment, injured or otherwise depleted. Against the power of a Holy Grail. Berserker was still unconscious, and injured, while Assassin only had ten bodies to spare, and wasn't the most physically imposing servant to begin with. Mash was there, but ultimately is defensively inclined Servant whose Magic Circuits are still shot from having to use her Noble Phantasm three times in a row. Further, he was there, directly within Lev's line of sight. If any of the Servants had tried anything, Lev could have used the Grail's power to turn their master into a grease spot, effectively neutralizing all the Servants. He just used a command seal 2 minutes ago to recall. Sometimes a situation reaches the point where your only option is to run away, or barring that, hold very still and hope they forget you're there. This was one such time.
If he attempted to use his last Command Seal, Lev would have noticed, and killed him before he could finish his sentence. There was no way Olga-Marie was coming out of that situation alive.Your seriously underestimating the power of a command seal man. Those things are powerful.
The problem with that line of thinking, is that it requires the SI to think of Lev as more dangerous than the context he has would allow. If he attempted to use his last Command Seal, Lev would have noticed, and killed him before he could finish his sentence. Look, do you really want to continue rehashing an unwinnable scenario? Because it's unwinnable. All speaking up or antagonizing Lev would have done is lead to his death, and the deaths of his Servants. The problem with that line of thinking, is that it requires the SI to think of Lev as more dangerous than the context he has would allow.
Sure Lev is intimidating and has been revealed as the bomber, but the SI had no reason at all to think he was anything more than a mage with a bomb fetish (OOC we know thats not true but the SI obviously doesn't have canon knowledge so should only have what hes seen IC so far) and as far as he knows (not having seen many mages beyond himself, Roman and Olga) 'squishy mortals' don't really hold a candle to a servant when it comes to physical abilities and reaction times (so to him even with only 10 bodies Assassin should of seemed like complete overkill for taking down the rogue mage).
Not sure if the SI's learned/realised this yet but he could of also used mental commands to direct Assassin/Mash to act in some manner.
No, i'm sorry if i came across as just doing it for the sake of being contrary but i'm not arguing he should of fought the unwinnable.Look, do you really want to continue rehashing an unwinnable scenario? Fair enough. No, i'm sorry if i came across as just doing it for the sake of being contrary but i'm not arguing he should of fought the unwinnable.
I'm arguing as written the SI had no context to know it was unwinnable and his lack of agency in the scene (as if he was suddenly shoved into cutscene mode) makes a lot less sense because of it, causing the quality of that whole chapter to suffer for it.
Noones arguing he should of gone balls to the wall and suicided on an angry demon pillar (at least i hope not) but you do actually need to give the SI some sort of reason for not doing anything in that scene or change things up slightly for it to make more sense.
And Sasaki continues to be best assassin (Sorry Hassans).'I have encountered a wyvern.'
'What?'
'A wyvern. I challenged it to a duel. Its form was lacking.'
The de-transformation didn't occur because of Mash's embarrassment. It happened because, at that moment, Galahad had one, solitary desire: "Please, God, don't let my father find out I'm in here."And Sasaki continues to be best assassin (Sorry Hassans).
Also apparently its apparently possible to de-transform mash via crippling amounts of shame, good to know for the future i guess (also Galahad is going to despise the SI after this).
I completely forgot that was a thing, does this mean Mash is going to be having issues once Galahad's calmed down?Galahad is currently even more of a bundle of embarrassment and shame than Mash right now, which is also the reason Mash's personality has survived her being effectively told Galahad's True Name: Every last inch of his Spirit Origin is currently screaming "I am not associated with her in any way, shape, or form!"
The issue is in acquiring the unavailable things in the first place as everything in Chaldea is limited, i suppose if handled properly they could begin to set up a trade route of sorts (trading stuff from one singularity to another) but it would take a lot more time and effort to set up.And if that's the case couldn't you technically sell stuff that wouldn't be available in those time periods for ungodly sums and get resources that way and it wouldn't matter since it wouldn't affect human development in any way once the timeline self-corrected?
No, I mean you could literally get yourself a small fortune selling a calculator to a noble, stuff like that. The issue is in acquiring the unavailable things in the first place as everything in Chaldea is limited, i suppose if handled properly they could begin to set up a trade route of sorts (trading stuff from one singularity to another) but it would take a lot more time and effort to set up.
As fun as that sounds I don't think even Romani will allow that, nevermind that paradoxes won't occur with the timeline fixing itself after. No, I mean you could literally get yourself a small fortune selling a calculator to a noble, stuff like that.
