Drew this during boot camp, mailed it to my brother, who then cleaned and upload it. Also that's before I realized that the first rifle they issued to us was for drill only, hence the lack of a RCO and something with the bolt carrier group...
 
Interesting looking M16... you sure they didn't issue you one in 5.45 x 39mm? I don't think I've seen a STANAG-compatible with that much of a curve to it. :p

I think at the time I kinda forgot what the magazines look like because as soon as they issued them the DIs took them up again. Sensible thing too since we have a tendency to loose shit left and right...

In the end, we still managed to lose around 3 of them. I don't even know how. We were fucking retarded.

Although for most of us due to covid-19 this summer will be rather dampened, the joys of summer will live on in our hearts, or something to that effect.

I don't know, I never really liked summer, usually the heat gets ridiculous and half the time there's a drought or something.
