Absolutely. It just appears that nobody here has anything to say. Which is disappointing but, eh, whatcha gonna do about it?are we allowed to comment, the lack of replies concerns me, regardless.
Yeah, it gets tiresome after a while. Well, if my stories take off enough, maybe others will follow suit. These are all very interesting ideas so far, thank god for not "Just another wolf.".
It seems to be unique pretty much everywhere, near as I can tell. Don't know how much shit they eat, though. I guess there's gotta be dung beetle and housefly spirits out there somewhere. Also spirits acting like actual shit eating spirits is strangely Unique on this website. And well appreciated.
No, Sarite isn't required. At least, not for everyone... about 40% of people can't use magic without Sarite, and about 10% can't use magic even with Sarite, but that leaves about 50% of the population able to use magic without it. But even the strongest mages still find it useful because it allows people to have access to more magic than their biology and/or training otherwise allows, and abilities that their spellset won't cover...So is Sarite required for magic to be used. Because if so, then there is certainly something unique for the character to be casting without it.
Fair enough, but you can always ask questions. It's fun to see what particular readers want to learn more about of the setting, and helps me further refine what I introduce and when.I'm really terrible at participating in quests, so I think I'll hold off from actually voting on that other site, but I'm very interested in reading more of this very soon!
wontYesterday's storm had come with only minutes of warning, as spring storms were want to do,
Missing "such" or something. Also, I think non-transitive "ripped" is primarily about things like cloth ripping, and would use "were ripped" here.but this one had a rare ferocity that shingles ripped from the roofs
Huh? What? "animals were lost in"?and animals lost weather that their tenders dared not leave to find them in.

A moan of half-pleasure, half-rage rose from Kalis' throat as his face distended forward into a mockery of a bull's snout and a half ton of mass in the form of extra height and muscle added themselves to his frame.
It had fled
As she left, the rat who came so close to meeting oblivion fled from its temporary shelter, its instincts screaming its terror.
missing wordthe child was unnerving enough without the enhanced instincts the minotaur sarite.
cuts off"Elruin?" Kalis muttered, recovering enough of his wits to recognize something was wrong other than the skeleton climbing
Is this intentional?Elruin took two steps back toward the skeleton, the song, and the kinship she never knew that she never knew.
how obvious what?"You're dead!" Kalis recognized how obvious the moment after it was said.
He crushed the crystallized magic to powder in is clawed, bloody fist.
Me am shit grammar person.
Funny thing about this one? It's not cut off in the post over on DWW... must be some artifact of copy/pasting.
Yeah, that one is. All the others, though... *facedesk*...
Now it seems to say that it was his face that weighed half a ton...A moan of half-pleasure, half-rage rose from Kalis' throat as his face distended forward into a mockery of a bull's snout and added a half ton of mass in the form of height and muscle to his frame.
Another case of text cutting offShe didn't have strength enough for a blanket healing spell, so she'd have to focus on the worst damage before
trioKasa and Inoin, the other two of that pair, gathered around to help check Elruin.
lie
waterElruin went to the bath house to clean herself; if she wanted to take the time, she could have perhaps heated some wood, but the cold never bothered her, so she began to scrub herself of the dried mud and blood on her body, allowing the dirty water to spill on the ground.
There was no scent in the decomposition; decay was a natural process brought on by mold and insects, while Elruin's power cleansed those hapless organisms as thoroughly as it did to all life.
One was healthy to her sight, though exhausted and depleted of magic, the other looked to have received a wound that would be fatal without magical aid..
Once again, this appears to be some artifact of copy/pasting over to this site.
The other mistakes at least make some sense to me. I have zero ideas how I fucked this up.
Well, strictly speaking there are two processes going on simultaneously, but only tangentially connected. So, to check I've understood this, when there's a lot of death including sophonts any spirit that was angry about its death can hoover up the latent necrotic energy in the area and rise naturally?
