He's all but stated to be planning on replacing Liliweiss with Modernia

But it's a little hard to tell if he has genuine loyalty or further plans on changing her to become someone/something for whatever those plans are

I think in canon, he plans on infecting her for a third time, this time with the virus meant to specifically replace her personality as with what presumably occurred with the other Heretics

As shown with the current Rapi New Year event, the NIKKE used to be allowed to do it, till they started being assigned a bunch of war tourists as their "leaders" in combat

She really was for the most part, following the law, unfortunately

The first Legendary Commander I can get, said to have been a former Mercenary, not sure on how he got hired for the job but I guess it was due to having had a rapport with Liliweiss before and her being the one to suggest his presence

The rest, they're mainly pointing at what to shoot and definitely being a burden they have to care for. It's like bringing FOBbits with zero training and experience fighting into a warzone, but they have rich important guy connections.

Were probably getting Anis' this year and Neon's next year

I mean they either try to find that one diamond by throwing lots of barely trained people into the meat grinder like Johan only to also throw that away cause it could be a threat on their authority
thinking on some of the side quests here like the one where you search that trainee on the surface and the first thing he does is insulting the squad , like military 101 you don't mess with the people doing the actual fighting if you want to survive
also that nepo baby that sends you out to pick up that ancient military medal so he can claim to have been bestowed it for nepo points
and thats just on the incompetence not going into the actual fucked up shit like the orphanage recruitments etc

what I want to say with that block is tldr the government is either incompetent and malicious or just malicious and needs a full on purge

If the Cummander wasn't such a non-combat Badass, I would have written him off

Those kinds of characters, with zero combat ability and mostly just there, really irritate me

If you ever read/watched FREEZING, it gets annoying that the FFN type miss out too, that every other dude just stands there and shouts "freezing!" with their hands out

YMMV, but to me, the Cummander stands as his own character rather than just being the self insert, hell, he feels like he emotes and thinks more on things than the average light novel protagonist
 
Seeing the new event about Rapi I have a theory of what it will be like here in OH.

here in OH instead of Rapi in the hospital and how he became. In OH he would explain what became of Red Hood after Joe's "death" and suffering the Mind Switch, 30 years after that Red Hood made a spectacular escape to the surface wandering aimlessly because he no longer has Joe or Goddess at his side.

and in a moment the Red Ash epilogue happens. knowing Rapi when she was a mass-produced nikke, in OH in reality Rapi and Red Hood were always separate and distinct people, then the same thing would happen as in the current event, but the biggest difference is that Rapi would not survive because she would be corrupted by a Rapture, Red Hood unable to kill her because he does not want to lose another friend as Joe suffers from a huge crisis until Rapi with his last strength guides Red Hood's rifle and thanks him for everything before pulling the trigger killing her.

Red Hood would be shocked and then cry and scream out of control because she could not protect only Joe but also lost Rapi, causing Red Hood, lost in her thoughts, to suffer the second mind switch that would kill all of her personality and memories.

reaching the entrance of the ark before fainting and when he wakes up he remembers nothing except the name "Rapi" becoming the Rapi from OH that we know. that would bear Rapi's name in his memory.

I know it's drastic but it would be interesting to show in a better way that Joe's presence also brought negative consequences and not just positive ones.

Upon further consideration… Had Rapi ever apologized? Had she ever actually acknowledged how cruel and unnecessary it was, to force him to be the one to finish off Marian?

"And she never apologized," Joe noted quietly, more to himself than anything, to really internalize that fact. Jesus fucking Christ, what the fuck.

Like, Rapi literally is going "These are the rules." Even the the 'threatened' bit is purely protocal, from what she said.

She gave reasons for why she did what she did, especially with the Anis part. Where even being close to Marian could corrupt them, Marian being alive was actively calling more Rapture, and that his Handgun is, to quote the chapter, "designed and loaded with ammo capable of penetrating a Nikke's skull for this exact purpose".

From everything portrayed in that scene, this is the standard operations as written, and she explained her reasons fairly well in that moment.

So this whole part feels kinda weird to me.

The commander of the game is a generic visual novel protagonist who goes around sleeping with any nikke he finds and being a complete hypocrite.

Also, if the commander of the game were in OH, how would he be here without Andersen's support?

I still find him quite likable and I mostly just watch the main story

The Bond Stories and other Events may not all be canon

Either Crow's that good an actor or it's not canon

Question is, what's her design likely now to be?

By virtue of being one of the Mass Produced Nikke that actually dress sorta like real armed forces types, rather than even future spandex like Rapi used to do, she'd look kinda out of place from the rest of Inherit

I am not sure if many examples of MPNs getting upgraded, do their looks change?

Grave and (game) Rapi prove it's possible.

For Rapi, the most obvious change was her hair going from MP purple to her original auburn, Grave just got swole and super scuffed.

Add: The rest of Inherit are also former MP Nikkes upgraded by Cecil.

At least 3 weeks (Story 1, 2, and S2 Hard Mode).

My mind's eye pictures Inherit Pinne as wearing shiny parade colours for her armor (mostly white and similar color stylings as Dorothy to match), with a beefed-up belt-fed automatic shotgun replacing her original standard shotty.

What occurs in S2 Hard Mode? No offense, I dislike waiting….god I should just mostly follow already finished series TBH

That said, if I were ever to do my NIKKE X Destiny fic idea, I'm having Pinne turned into a Guardian and maybe end up the "apprentice" of a Cummander Guardian Trio

Dorothy would both suffer and be elated to have her back, even with a memory wipe

Friend, please stop exaggerating so much that someone will soon appear to make fun of you by calling you cringe or any nickname.

In addition, Rapi's PT2 seems ridiculous to me because it is only shift up glorifying his favorite secondary character that shows the enormous favoritism towards Rapi and even his effort to make people forget about Marian.

Commander and Joe's hearts belong to Marian, not to a glorified secondary character treated with Kishimoto-style favoritism like Rapi.

So I have to assume that after her Mind Switch, she was put into a similar situation as the Canon Rapi, and despite her not being able to meet Red Hood (due to being her), still went through the same approximate situations to end up in the present.

And thus, I think it's very likely that no Mass Produced unit named Rapi exists anywhere in this Rapi's backstory.

I guess I skipped some lines of dialogue... because until now I realize

Now that I think about it, don't you think that Red Hood's death in the game is almost identical to that of OH?
but in the opposite direction.? I don't want to say too much to avoid spoilers.
But something tells me that shift up could be copying Nikke's fanfics.

But the fact that Rapi is a red hood could make her problems worse because here, unlike in the game, no one helps her. Snow White is angry with Rapi for forcing Jjoe to shoot Marian, causing her trauma, Anis and Neon are missing god knows where and Joe is also dealing with his own problems.

But in what position would Red Hood be after suffering his mind switch? because I doubt they would put her in a squad of mass-produced Nikkes with such legendary power. Not to mention that red hood knows how to survive on the streets when she was human.

But I wonder what Rapi's story will be like here, I mean Rapi and Red Hood are the same person and not separate entities.
