  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.

QQ Writing Club

2200 words done today. Mostly draft that need editing, but still progress spread across three snips. :)
 
650 words of my T_Taylor/Amy from yesterday draft... It took two hours just to do just that, dammit.

Aiming for 2000 words by the end of the day.
 
I did my 2000 words yesterday. Will try for another 2000 today.
 
Claiming 5k for yesterday. 3k for today. And thus the triumphant end of Amelia. On a Saturday. Materia Blade would be proud.

Technically it was more like 5500 and 2500. But this maths easier.

Done. I also took the liberty of updating the front page for the first time in about a week, beyond the Achievements tab.
 
Admins are having some trouble, so banners will go out when they get things back under control.
 
Since I am absolutely horrible* about updating consistently, this club might be of aid.

I'll sign up for a recurring five-hundred word challenge, to be filled by updates to my quest, with no defined end-date.

*In the previous iteration, monthly updates were a thing. To avoid that, I'll not be counting revisions, notes, drafts, etc., just what actually gets posted. Hopefully it helps.

I feel you here man. The last three updates of my quest haven been monthly affairs. Which is majorly bad for participation.

I'm glad this place is still useful to some people. :)
