[RWBY] RWBY Shorts

I would agree with that. Especially if you go with the idea of him being very close to Belle and Wise. Or replacing Wise as Belle's 'brother' and making him part of the duo.

I love the idea that do to shenanigans *cough Wise Harem cough* Jaune has never physically met Wise but is great friends with Belle. Hell the idea Jaune just runs into Wise Harem and gets teased relentlessly by them as they think him and Belle are cute together, adds to his raised by his sisters status
i love the idea that due to all that teasing Jaune is oblivious to real flirting, making him blind to Belle and Pyrrha's attempts to date him

That would be hilarious. Especially if Belle is the one to strong arm her way into being the one to help Jaune and Pyrrha is his fellow agent. Although I would keep Burnice, personally just for her attempts to play matchmaker, as his half-sister.

And yeah, I've started playing the game and am liking it! The characters are very entertaining in the Cunning Hares and I can't wait to get to the Son's of Camydon. As well as the maid group.

Right now is probably one of the best times to at least start a new account. 1 Year Anniversery, you can select a Standard S-Rank Character and a Standard S-Rank Weapon(W-Engine).

But yeah, great character designs and more condensed/focused story telling compared to Hoyo's other games.

How do I get the S-Rank character, and weapon?

I just started the game for the first time, and am at the point in the plot where Fairy appears at the video store.

All great! Again, ZZZ is kind of like if RWBY had a budget and proper creative team behind it.

Miyabi being a celebrity on par with Pyrrha might be fun to explore... Especially if Miyabi knows Jaune. Ohhh my, the rivalry that would start.

This I want to see.

And Jaune switching from being a Proxy to becoming a Huntsman... And just when he got out, he gets pulled back in again.

What would Jaune's proxy name be?

A fun idea for reviving Cowboys of Remnant.

In this case, JNPR and RWBY go to a small town that Jaune's passed through before. Jaune... Is arrested for murder. Years ago he was in a gun fight against bandits. One shot went stray. A few civilians were hurt. A little girl died. Jaune wondered for years if he was the one who hit her, but he put it out of his mind. Mister Duke told him it wasn't anyone's fault.

But Jaune now feels like he's the one responsible and just grimly accepts his fate. While Ruby and the others look over the evidence to try and prove his innocence.

finally got some time to write some prompts.
-team RWBY due to some shenanigans are currently held in cells by the VPD(Vale Police Department). while they wait for the bail, they learn that Jaune and Ren are on first name basis with the VPD. Ren due to Nora, who they just notices is in the cell next to them, and Jaune due to him helping around the precinct.

-Jaune wanted to be a hero. just because he failed to get into Becaon doesn't mean he's going to give up on his dream, not when he still has his back-up plan in the from of joining the VPD.

-Blake is arrested by police, team RW_Y do not like this and force the issues. this ends with them in the cell along with Blake, who along with Yang is still twitching from the taser shots, turns out when dealing with superpowered individual that sees you as powerless mooks to squash you have to learn to adapted quickly and how to fight dirty, and the VPD are very good students. while in holding cells team RWBY finally find out why Blake was arrested, turns out that Blake had never formally resign from the white fang and is still consider a member, so while her activities as a terrorist are a part of her charges they are not the main reason. no, the main reason for her arrest is due to the smut she wrote, the poorly written bad smut, which is so bad that it has cause a raise in grimm activities.

-during a grimm attack a hunter was badly injured. while the doctors were unable to save the hunter's body, they could saved the hunter's brain, by uploading the hunter's mind into vehicle. now with their new partner, a bear or a chimpanzee a la sir bearington, they fight crime. this based on old shows like Knight Rider, Airwolf and Turbo Teen.

-Jaune has been acting weird and team RWBY+NPR decide to follow him during his trip to vale to find out why. turns Jaune has been going to visit him uncle who works in vale for advice. who is this uncle? why non-other than the police chief of vale. turns out that the police chief was an old friend of Jaune's parents and had a crush on Nick, while the police chief has moved on and is now happily marriage, he's still considered a close family-friend and is happily an honorary uncle to the Arc kids

-team JNPR are going on a fishing trip, when team RWBY hear about it they decide to tag-along. unfortunately RWBY+P misunderstood it as fishing, relaxing with friends and having a few beers, where as JNR meant fishing which is based on this:
1272a7d0f85fcbc54ccbf8df7583a5aab34481e32c727a42c2cfec3f2278de2d.png

-turns out Jaune had lied about faking the transcript, having decided that being punish for having fake transcript was less embarrassing than the truth.

-before the rise of Dust and Morphing Weapon, grimm were fought with the hunter's holy trinity aka sliver, holy water and salt. while not as common as before some still use the old way, and now team RWBY has run into one such hunter. how will this end for them?

i have one more prompt, but that's going into the Hot Pieces of RWBY thread when i get the time to write it.

A simple thing, ultra Jaune hater woman gets reincarnated as Ruby.

You know the type, we all have met these types where they don't hate Jaune as a character per se, but more so his archetype. The kind that would consider Sokka an eternal enemy of woman based on his earlier behaviour and not even change her opinion once he grows. The kind of woman who would destroy hogwarts in a Harry Potter SI fanfiction and win everyone over because she is so cool and her ideas would make all the witches rally behind her and somehow defeat Voldemort just like that.

The kind of super misandrist/ Fem-radicalist that would be featured in a CynaideSins story.

So, she thinks she can easily be the mary sue, have the world running to her whims and all that jazz, standard stuff really.

Then reality fucks her up just like canon Ruby, because despite all her clever planning, all her Ironwood bashing , her antagonists are more cunning, more powerful and much more prepared than her.

She can't just easily get the maiden powers as she thought, she can't just win against Salem. Strength alone doesn't grant victory. Based on all this shit, she will either die or become an extremely jaded outcast.

Still, Jaune doesn't give up on his friends like that, but in the Ever After, when Jaune bursts down on her and this time he has even more ammunition on her.

Despite all the bad-bitch attitude, she looks in a pond and sees Cinder instead of her own image. When she tries to ascend, she goes back to the point where she first reincarnated.

This situation repeats because you know the stubborn types, they don't change after just one failure, they stick to their guts.
Finally after a complete Subaru-esque situation, she decides to accept friendship instead of trying for the harem she was going for her and decides that if she was going to fail, it was going to be with eager friends and not acquaintances and strained family.

Alternatively, we also have a situation for a Jaune 'Harem MC' SI, the one that thinks he can get all the bitches and be the ultimate alpha(I almost threw up writing this)

Honestly his fate is both kinder and worse than the Ruby SI one, cause he won't even become a proper Huntsman and would probably spend his life as a waste of space and would die off in a large scale tragedy because without Jaune, a lot of shit goes down and Salem wins a lot more easily.

Since he couldn't even reach Ever After, he doesn't even get the Ascendence option.

It's very dark but it could work if written well. And yeah, I wrote my own Jaune SI to consciously avoid him being a jackass. Because if it was me or any normal person, you'd be scared out of your wits.

And of course he isn't gonna go for a harem because every girl here can kill him. And he can't afford to be smug because the reality is very different from the show.

And of course he isn't gonna go for a harem because every girl here can kill him. And he can't afford to be smug because the reality is very different from the show.
A harem forming naturally isn't the problem, they are allowed to love who they love. Also Jaune can grow into a phenomenal huntsman and they can get a happy ending against Salem. It's just that everyone seems to forget the last line for the introduction of the show, the introduction that is Salem's voice I believe in the first episode- Strength alone can not grant victory.

It is exactly due to that statement that Jaune's Paladin archetype works so well. They need strength, but more than that, they need to know how to work together with others as well and not make the villains' jobs easier for five seconds.

My problem is partially with the current Draconian Remnant story that Leecifer currently has going own. Now his SI has a lot of mental trauma and problems but instead of writing the story in a way that Jaune SI can heal and grow from it, it's just him throwing his weight around because he is a dragon, creating unnecessary drama based on the problems he made in the story(if anyone knows his Yang characterisation, you know what I am talking about).

To be honest I was agreeing with few of his points about the college scenario and things like that but later he is just, enabling his SI's behaviour and it's been way past 100 chapters(around 180 or so I believe) and that's enough time to start working on your character faults rather than say still relying on Pyrrha as an emotional and maybe even an ideological crutch.

My problem with his story is just the same as my Problem with RWBY show proper - I like it too much to not consider the bad points.

I love that his SI isn't afraid to take charge, I love the worldbuilding, I love how he is trying to help his teammates grow, I love the interplay he has with Ozpin, I slightly dislike the old trope of making Ruby as Qrow's daughter but whatever, I love that he trying to be smart with his growth, I like how he is trying to deal with his Jaune's trauma with the physical scarring due to a fight.

I just don't like the SI's emotional immaturity and constant need to explain himself in his thoughts or being ready to go with the nuclear option once a group has an issue. It just often feels like he is trying to pull the world to his ideals and also creating the resistance.

Original Character, Do Steal: Gideon Thryce New
Name: Gideon Thryce
Allusion: King Thrushbeard, Grimm's Fairy Tales
Naming Process: Gideon, from Hebrew, meaning "hewer" or "one who cuts down," reflects his role as a relentless prosecutor cutting through corruption. Thryce, derived from "thrush," ties to his fairytale allusion, evoking the bearded king's humility and cunning, with a nod to Old English roots suggesting resilience and sharpness. Influence from Jack McCoy from Law and Order and some Phoenix Wright from the same-named series.
Age: Early 40s
Background: The Thryce family is an ancient, noble lineage in Vale, tracing their roots to the city's founding. Once among Vale's wealthiest elites, their influence waned after a scandal tied to their support for Mantle during the Great War, echoing King Thrushbeard's humbling journey. Gideon, the eldest son of the current family head, Alaric, rejected the elitism of his upbringing, choosing to serve as a district attorney to restore his family's honor through justice rather than wealth. Graduating top of his class from Vale's prestigious Lugh Academy, Gideon excelled in legal strategy and courtroom oration, quickly rising to become Vale's lead district attorney. His knack for exposing corruption and his Jack McCoy-esque tenacity have made him a hero to the public but a threat to Vale's powerful elite. Beneath his public persona lies a private struggle: Gideon is haunted by his family's past complicity in treason and oppression, driving him to prove he's more than his privileged roots. His ambition is to make Vale's legal system a shield for the vulnerable, but his aggressive pursuit of justice has earned him enemies among council members and Dust magnates, who see him as a meddlesome idealist.
Race: Human
Emblem: A stylized thrush feather crossed with a gavel, symbolizing his blend of humility and judicial authority.
Weapon: "Verdicts": Gideon carries a set of small, throwable metal pins shaped like thrush feathers, which he uses for precision strikes or to pin evidence in court dramatically.
Semblance: "Scales of Truth"
Gideon's Semblance allows him to sense deception in those he directly confronts, manifesting as a faint Aura glow around a person's words when they lie. The stronger the lie, the brighter the glow, though it requires intense focus and direct eye contact, limiting its use in chaotic situations. He can amplify this effect by channeling Aura through his gavel, creating a subtle psychic pressure that unnerves liars, making them falter in court or interrogations. The Semblance is draining, and overuse leaves him vulnerable, as it weakens his defensive Aura. It's ineffective against those with exceptionally strong wills or suppressed emotions, like high-level Huntsmen or especially cunning criminals.
Appearance: A tall, lean man with a sharp jawline and a neatly trimmed, silver-streaked beard, evoking King Thrushbeard's regal yet humbled demeanor. His dark green eyes are piercing, and his dark hair, graying at the temples, is swept back. A faint scar runs along his left cheek from a past assassination attempt. He's handsome but weathered, with an air of quiet intensity, built more like Qrow Branwen—wiry but strong.
Outfit: Gideon wears tailored suits in deep grays or blues, with a thrush feather pin on his lapel, a subtle nod to his heritage. His attire is formal but practical, with reinforced fabric for minor combat situations. He carries Verdict at his hip and keeps his feather pins hidden in his sleeves. For high-profile cases, he dons a long, dark green coat with subtle gold embroidery, evoking a judge's gravitas but with a modern Vale flair.
Personality: Outwardly, Gideon is charismatic, eloquent, and commanding, with a Jack McCoy-like flair for courtroom theatrics and a Thrushbeard-inspired knack for disarming foes with calculated humility. He's a master strategist, using his charm to sway juries and unsettle opponents, but he's not above bending legal ethics to secure convictions, believing the ends justify the means. Beneath this lies a man wrestling with pride and guilt over his family's past, making him fiercely driven to protect Vale's people. He's intelligent but prone to stubborn idealism, holding grudges against corrupt officials while maintaining a facade of civility. Gideon is a loner by choice, with few true allies, haunted by paranoia that his enemies will exploit his vulnerabilities. Ruthless in pursuit of justice, he's never to be underestimated, though his moral compass keeps him from crossing into outright corruption.

The Arc Clan: Pyrrha's Aunt Erza (Revised) New
The Arc Clan: Pyrrha's Aunt Erza

Pyrrha Nikos stood in the training yard of Beacon Academy, her heart leaping with delight as a familiar figure approached, clad in gleaming armor and radiating authority. "Aunt Erza!" she exclaimed, her voice bright with affection.

Without warning, Erza Scarlet, her crimson hair blazing in the sunlight, lunged forward, her sword flashing in a series of precise, relentless strikes. Pyrrha reacted instinctively, raising Milo in sword form and Akouo to parry and deflect the onslaught, her movements a seamless dance of skill and muscle memory.

"Excellent job, Pyrrha!" Erza declared, her voice ringing with pride as she sheathed her blade. "You blocked the strikes just as I knew you would!"

Pyrrha beamed, her emerald eyes sparkling. "Thank you, Aunt Erza!"

"But you must stay at the top of your game!" Erza continued, her tone firm but warm. "You're fighting for real now—no tournament rules!"

Pyrrha nodded, her resolve unwavering. "Yes, Auntie!"

Erza's stern expression softened, and she opened her arms. "Now, give me a hug."

Pyrrha melted into the embrace, her shield and sword clattering to the ground as she wrapped her arms around her aunt. Erza pulled back slightly, studying her niece with a perceptive gaze. "Hmm… You seem more confident. Happier."

Pyrrha's cheeks flushed, and she fidgeted, her voice dropping to a shy murmur. "Yes, well… Um… I got to fight a few great fighters… And, um…" Her blush deepened. "I'm a bit closer to… um…"

Erza's brow arched, a knowing glint in her eye. "Jaune Arc?"

Pyrrha's face turned scarlet, her hands twisting together. "Y-Yes… But, um… Well…"

"Well?" Erza pressed, folding her arms. "Well what?"

Pyrrha sighed, her shoulders slumping. "Other girls have… noticed him."

Erza's eyes narrowed, her voice taking on a dangerous edge. "And so you've defeated them and claimed him for your own?"

Pyrrha's blush intensified, her voice a squeak. "Ummmm… W-Well, no…"

"Why not?!" Erza demanded, her tone incredulous. "You can defeat all your rivals with ease!"

"I don't think that will win his love," Pyrrha murmured, her gaze dropping to the ground.

Erza blinked, tilting her head. "What, does he prefer the company of men?"

"NO!" Pyrrha yelped, waving her hands frantically. "No! Not at all! He's definitely straight!"

"Then I shall deal with this!" Erza proclaimed, her voice resolute. Before Pyrrha could protest, a blinding flash enveloped her aunt. "REQUIP! HEAVEN'S WHEEL ARMOR!"

In an instant, Erza's form shimmered, now clad in radiant, winged armor that gleamed like polished starlight. With a powerful beat of her wings, she soared into the sky, leaving Pyrrha gaping in horror. "What? NO! Nonono—!"

Erza was a crimson streak against the clouds, her mission clear. Within moments, she swooped down to the courtyard where Jaune was chatting with Ren, oblivious to the storm descending upon him. With the precision of a hawk, Erza seized Jaune by the collar, hoisting him into the air as he yelped in surprise. She flew back to the training yard, dropping him unceremoniously before Pyrrha with a thud.

"URK!" Jaune grunted, scrambling to his feet, his eyes wide with confusion.

"JAUNE!" Pyrrha cried, her hands fluttering uselessly as she hovered between panic and mortification.

Erza loomed over him, her armor clanking ominously. "JAUNE ARC! YOU HAVE DISHONORED MY NIECE BY IGNORING HER FEELINGS!"

Jaune's jaw dropped, his voice a squeak. "I-I have?!"

Pyrrha stammered, her face a furnace. "I uh…"

"But—But I haven't ignored her feelings!" Jaune protested, his hands flailing.

Pyrrha's head snapped up, her heart stuttering. "You haven't?!"

"YES YOU HAVE!" Erza roared, pointing an accusatory finger. "She loves you!"

Jaune blinked, his expression softening. "Well, yeah! I love her too!"

Pyrrha's breath caught, her eyes shimmering. "Y-You do?!"

"Deeply," Jaune said earnestly, his voice warm. "You're my friend and mentor! I care for you like my sisters! I would die for you in a heartbeat!"

Pyrrha's hopeful expression faltered, her voice trembling. "I… I-I mean, that's… Um… I am glad… But um—"

Erza groaned, slapping a gauntleted hand to her forehead. "UGH! You fool! She loves you in the way a woman does a man! A man she wants to marry and have his children!"

"AUNTIE!" Pyrrha shrieked, her face now a beacon of crimson as she buried it in her hands.

Jaune froze, his brain short-circuiting. "…Wait, really?"

Pyrrha's voice was barely audible, muffled by her hands. "Um… W-Well… Uhh… I uh…"

Erza, undeterred, barreled on, her voice booming. "How could you not know she loved you and wanted to have your children?! That she wanted to do all manner of lewd and sexy things with you?!"

"AUNTIIIIE!" Pyrrha wailed, her knees buckling as she sank to the ground, wishing for the earth to swallow her whole.

Erza shrugged, unfazed. "What? You wrote to me all about your fantasies! Incidentally, you need an editor."

The Harem Route (Revised and Final) New
Jaune's boots echoed on the polished floor as he stepped into Ozpin's office, the towering windows casting long shadows across the headmaster's desk as the clockwork clicked, whirred and ticked in the background. The air smelled faintly of coffee and old books, and Ozpin sat poised behind his desk, silver hair glinting under the lamplight, his eyes twinkling with that unnerving mix of warmth and calculation.

Jaune sat down in the chair directly in front of the old Headmaster, feeling very awkward.

"Hello, my boy," Ozpin said, his voice smooth as velvet. "How are you finding Beacon?"

Jaune rubbed the back of his neck, his armor clinking softly. "Oh, uh, great so far, Headmaster! Yup! It's challenging, uh, since—"

"Since you entered as a civilian with no training and falsified transcripts?" Ozpin interjected, his tone light but piercing.

Jaune froze, his stomach lurching. "Yeah, I—… Oh shit—!"

Ozpin's laughter rang out, rich and disarming. "Hahaha! Relax, young man! Do you really think your friends Miss Valkyrie and Mister Ren could attend proper combat schools while living as wandering, homeless orphans? Or that Miss Belladonna had any formal education while she was a terrorist with the White Fang? You passed the Initiation, and that's what matters!"

Jaune exhaled, his shoulders sagging with relief. "Oh… Oh thank God. So… So I'm not expelled?"

"Not in the slightest!" Ozpin said, leaning back in his chair, his cane propped against the desk. "However… I must request a favor."

Jaune blinked, hesitant. "Well… I mean, sure? I guess?"

Ozpin's gaze sharpened, though his smile remained. "Jaune, it is a terrible shame your family didn't want you to become a Huntsman, because the Arcs have an incredibly powerful trait: massive Aura reserves, and Semblances that massively increase Aura in general. Indeed, you have more Aura than me despite our considerable age difference!"

Jaune's eyes widened, his mouth forming a small 'o'. "Wow, really?"

"Yes," Ozpin said, his voice carrying a quiet intensity. "Properly trained, you will become a great Huntsman, of that I have no doubt… But we must look to the future!"

"The future?" Jaune echoed, leaning forward slightly, his curiosity piqued.

Ozpin nodded, his fingers steepled. "You know Huntresses like Miss Nikos, Miss Rose, Miss Xiao-Long, Miss Schnee, Professor Goodwitch, and Miss Belladonna. You know their incredible Semblances and fighting ability. Imagine if they had massive Aura reserves to boost their abilities. They would be unstoppable."

Jaune's brow furrowed, then lit up with realization. "Oh… Oh! You think my Semblance might let them become even more powerful?"

He grinned, picturing himself as the ultimate team buff—less screw-up, more superhero. Well, more like the team healer but hey, that's how you won games.

"Yes!" Ozpin said, his eyes gleaming. "I suspect that it could! Once you unlock it, if my guess is right based on past members of the Arc family, you'll be able to supercharge them and act as both a Healer and an able Support, while also being tough enough to fight up close!"

Jaune's chest swelled, a grin tugging at his lips. "Wow… I-I could be… I could be a big help?"

"You could be a tremendous help, Jaune!" Ozpin said, his voice rising with enthusiasm. "But you're thinking too small. Again, consider the future. What if there were dozens of such Huntsmen and Huntresses with your massive Aura reserves? Raised by kind, loving parents to protect mankind?"

Jaune scratched his head, his brow creasing. "Uh… Well, that would be great, Headmaster. Are you asking me to donate my genetic material or something?"

He laughed nervously, half-expecting a sci-fi syringe to pop out.

Ozpin waved a hand dismissively, chuckling. "No, no, no, nothing that impersonal, I'm not some Atlasian mad scientist! No, I think the old-fashioned way would be best. And given your parents? You'll have no trouble handling it!"

Jaune's smile froze, his brain screeching to a halt. His palms began to sweat as an ominous feeling arose in his chest.

"Handling what?"

Ozpin reached into a drawer with the flourish of a game show host and slid a book across the desk. Its gold-embossed title gleamed like a neon warning sign. Jaune read it, and his soul seemed to pass right out of his body.

"… 'How to Manage a Harem'?!" he yelped, voice cracking so hard it echoed. His face turned tomato red, his hands flailing like he could physically reject the idea.

Ozpin beamed, his expression maddeningly serene. "What do you say?"

Jaune's brain blue-screened. His mouth opened, closed, opened again—nothing.

Five seconds later, he was a blur, sprinting for the elevator, jabbing the call button like it owed him money.

"Nope! Nope! NOPE!" he muttered, sweat pouring, heart hammering like a war drum.

Behind him, Ozpin sighed, adjusting his glasses.

"I see I'll have to be more persuasive…" he murmured.

Why do I feel like his mother is going to help Ozpin if this is the goal he's going for with Jaune?

Some fun ideas:

-Ren offers Blake some Menagerian tea. Jaune cooks her dishes that cat Faunus tend to love. Pyrrha offers to promote Faunus causes and Nora wants to help Blake catch that pesky laser dot. In short, everyone knew she was a Cat Faunus from the start except for RWBY. And when I mean everyone I mean EVERYONE.

-Yang is bullying Jaune. Slapping him on the ass, telling him he's cute and handsome, challenging him to fights in Combat Class. Jaune's gonna stand up for himself against her bullying! He'll beat her in combat class and at video games and even at movie watching and kissing... Wait. Is she actually bullying him? Or is something else going on?

-Velvet resents Blake because Velvet's family is part of a group of Menagerian ex-pats who left because of political infighting. She got exiled for her mother daring to marry a human man. So Blake tries to build a bridge with her Faunus sister. How hard could it be?

-Russel Thrush is a punk with a mohawk, revolver Dust daggers, and a motorcycle... But he's of a prominent family, the Thrush family. And his uncle Gideon, Vale's DA, is going to try and make him act like a proper gentleman.

So I had a idea to make Jacques a bigger asshole, give Weiss a sister, and make a punch wizard.

Atlas had more artificial human experiments than just Penny.

One of those projects is being bankrolled by Jacques.

All of his kids are disappointments. They either don't listen like the girls or are spineless like his son. So he's going to make another kid, and this time he's doing it right.

So that was the birth of project White.

With D.N.A taken from himself, his drunkard of a wife, and a few other select people of exceptional genetic stock and abilities he made the perfect daughter. (He wanted a daughter instead of a son because it's a way to get more super kids in the family without needing more scientist.)

White is cool, calm, collected, she learns quickly and without flaw.

She truly is almost perfect. There's only two issues. Despite never having met them she's almost obsessively interested in her family. (He had to set his computer to automatically respond to and delete her messages asking if her siblings were eating ok and doing well in their studies.)

The second issue...

"Subzero ice punch."

She's a brute! She picked up the self defense training quickly, but any attempt to make her graceful or elegant failed.

Refined century old styles abandoned for the most effective and brutal displays possible.

Even handing her a weapon similar to Weiss just got it used like a club.

Any any attempt to try to tell her that she needs technique and not just raw power falls flat when she can freeze a Atlas paladin inside and out with a punch.

Mixing dust into her very D.N.A was a genius idea but now that genius is biting him in the ass.

Especially since she's beginning to ignore him in favor of hacking into beacons cameras to watch her sister sleep. (And he really should speak to someone about Ozpin having cameras in the dorms....at least there aren't any in the bathrooms.)

"Father, Weiss is going on her first mission and forgot to pack adequate rations and extra undergarments."

"I'm sure she will be fine White."

"Unacceptable. Subzero ice punch."

Well there goes the wall. And his daughter. And his facility. Hmmm so this is what having a stroke feels like.

It would be interesting exploring different Faunus viewpoints with Blake, since she's been in the White Fang.

Sun brings the everyman kind of perspective: They don't like White Fang and while there are human bigots, the White Fang are terrorists and supremacists who will oppress Faunus too if they don't cooperate. He forgives Blake her past history because he can tell she's trying to reform.

Arslan brings the perspective of an elite Faunus: They have succeeded in the human world despite prejudice and have done very well, while focusing on helping all people. Rising above bigotry from humans and resentment from other Faunus that they are sell outs. Arslan tries to gently help Blake see that the White Fang's supremacism is wrong and that it is possible for humans and Faunus to live together peacefully-Not perfectly, but peacefully.

Velvet could bring the perspective of Faunus who quite frankly don't want to be involved in politics, or who don't see Menagerie as a good thing. Having a human father, she and her parents were ostracized by humans AND Faunus. So quite frankly she's not fond of Menagerians who preach Faunus segregation or the White Fang who are violent supremacists. It forces Blake to confront some of the nastier things she had to do with the White Fang, to humans AND Faunus.

Basically, give the Faunus issue some different perspectives.

Blake is going to make things really racist, really fast.

I can't stop thinking of Russel as some kind of 1980's british punk rock fan, now.

Regrets of a Black Cat New
Velvet hates White Fang because White Fang goons brutalized her parents for being a human married to a Faunus. And Blake was there the night it happened.

Blake didn't participate in the beatings and was unaware of how brutal they got. She was there as a lookout with a handler to keep her away from this nasty business. Blake thought they were there because Velvet's mother was an ex-pat of Menagerie and she thought she was selling secrets about Menagerie to Atlas through her husband, and they were finding out what she knew. She was still very uncomfortable with the whole thing and got them to leave early by faking that the cops were coming.

Turns out it was to make an example of them, Since Velvet's mom married a prominent Atlasian Engineer who was human. Blake saw their state before they left. She complained about this to Adam, who promised to look into it... And did nothing to stop the intimidation visits to any Ex-Pats from Menagerie-Especially ones married to or close with humans.

Velvet finding out that Blake was with the WF thugs one who did this to her family would make her livid. How would Blake try to salvage this? How would she try to redeem herself? How would her friends help?

And keep in mind, this did happen in the RWBY comics: Blake did go around with Adam's cell intimidating and using violence on Faunus who didn't cooperate.

You know it's things like this that really make me step back and question why we should feel bad for the White Fang? If anything something like this should have had a counter group form that was really against them. To the point other WF cells would start to feel the heat. Heck any Human Supremacist group should have been screaming about these attacks from the top of every building.

Edit: Also funny Character Idea that could be one of Jaune's Uncles or Aunts. What if a Player Character from Dune Awakening through shenanigans with the Sand Worms ends up on Remnant. They are taken in by the Arcs and end up with an incredibly loyal yet slightly psychotic bodyguard that likes building City size bases and taking the blood/bodies of their enemies for water. How would Jaune and his sisters childhood have changed from such a being. For extra funny Aura could work similar to Shields.

....I don't know why. But seeing this, knowing Velvets semblance, and hearing her dad is a engineer.

I keep imagining that her dad is MegaMan.

Rock or Blue? or is it Lan or Hub Hikari? Because depending on which Megaman one pair leads to apocalypse one leads to peace... would be funny to see Megaman.EXE hack Digital Watts or the Blue Bomber or Red Brother scrap the Robot Army going Maverick

I thought Capcom said no matter which timeline you go down they all end at Legends?
Anything with Robots Ends in Legends, it's the same as LOZ 3 timelines ending in Breath of the Wild
while EXE and Starforce are a split separate timeline sorta like Hyrule Warriors

What if Team RWBY didn't end up in the Ever After or WHEN they arrive wasn't Vacuo

I'm thinking Atem and Yugi vibe with Aura making them look different for plot reasons, ironically once V1 Ruby is told about the basic's of the Silver Eyes she can use it easily and way stronger when compared to V9/V10 Ruby

-Ironwood because of the writers
-Salem, SIC, Adam, Watts and Cinder
-White Fang, Happy Huntress, Raven, Emerald, ilia, Leo and HAZEL
-Roman, Neo. Mercury and Tyrian
Who are your picks?
By wu-sisyphus-gang

Jaune: I need to kill myself.

Weiss: Cinder is still alive. If you kill yourself now you never get to see the light leave her eyes by your hand. Don't you want to take her mortal coil in your hands and bend it?

Ruby: Weiss?!

Weiss: I'm trying Ruby!

Jaune: Yeah... I do need to murder Cinder with blood in my veins so cold it could give a vampire brain freeze. Thanks Weiss.

Ruby: Fuck you guys.

Weiss: It worked, didn't it?

Ruby: Weiss?! I will deal with you later. Jaune? Come lay your goddamn head on my lap and let me play with your hair.

Jaune: I need to go train.

Ruby: Nope! Let me love on you for a bit. Your boots and sword will be waiting for you when I'm done.

Jaune: Hey, Weiss! We're back from shopping!

Jaune: (Wearing "I came in Peace" shirt)

Ruby: (Wearing "I'm Peace" shirt)

Weiss: What... the hell... did you two buy?

Jaune: What? Is there something wrong with our clothes?

Ruby: Peace is a good thing, right?

Weiss: Are you two really that- Okay, fine... For now, neither of you are allowed to wear those shirts in front of the other huntsmen or huntresses, and Arc, you are not allowed to wear that in front of any of the other girls. ESPECIALLY Xiao Long.

Ruby/Jaune: Huh? But why though...?

by wu-sisyphus-gang

Weiss: Jaune got me a necklace. It has an adorable bell on it.

Yang: That's nice.

Ren: Dude? Why?

Jaune: She kept sneaking up on me. She walks so quietly.

Ren: You belled your wife like a dog?

Jaune: *whistles*

Weiss: Yip!

Jaune: *grins* More like a fox.

by wu-sisyphus-gang

Jaune: Boring take: bdsm is bad because it's basically torture.

Jaune: Hot take: Torture is good because it's basically bdsm.

Yang: Hey, I need you to never touch my sister again. Thanks and go to hell.

Jaune: I don't think I can help myself. She invites me to do whatever I want to her body and mind with a gentle, soothing voice. Which one of us is actually the predator?

I feel like Blake wouldn't get the chance to try any form of salvage - the second Velvet finds out that Blake was involved in torturing her family, someone on team CFVY is going to try and kill Blake and they're not going to be quiet about why. Weiss is going to feel betrayed by Blake after giving her a chance despite everything and will help to try and apprehend her, Ruby will be morally crushed because both Velvet and Blake are her friends, Yang will be divided between her sister and her partner, Blake will either get all self-righteous about it or fuck off and ditch like she always does, and Ozpin will probably have no choice but to cut Blake loose to preserve the school's intergrity, which I honestly wouldn't blame him for.
