Pyrrha was doing some training on her own in the training field, contemplating things... Mainly Jaune...

Morgan: "Ooooh... You want to make babies with Jaunnne~... You want to convince him to become my Dark Knight, oooohhh~!'

Pyrrha: "Um... Sorry, but that's not very convincing."

Morgan emerges from a bush with a scowl.

Morgan: "Come on! I could push him to go out with you, you know~!"

Jaune looks back... And Yang, Ruby, Weiss, Pyrrha, and Blake are all blushing deeply and staring back at him. Even Weiss looks hungry.

Glynda Goodwitch knocks on the door, and enters.

Glynda yelps and blasts Trey out the window with her Semblance. She breathes hard, glaring after him with a slight blush.

Ruby: "... Is he always like that?"

Jaune: "Tragically, yes."

Weiss: "Now I recognize some of those corny lines. You were better off just being yourself, Arc..." At Yang, Ruby, Blake and Pyrrha's looks. "N-Not that I'm interested!"

Blake: smirk "So tsundere."

Weiss: "I AM NOT!"
 
Perchance to Dream
Ten year old Jaune Arc was dreaming.

Usually his dreams are silly things, like flying or a castle made of candy. Sometimes he dreams of being a hero, saving princesses (though he's never actually seen one) and killing Grimm.

But sometimes he has these odd dreams. There's no fights (usually) and he's in a strange place with strange people.

This time he's in a big building floating in the night sky. There's pretty stars and planets circling the building. The building itself is weird too. The walls are black wood, actual trees not planks or stuff, and the floor is covered in so many different small orange rugs he can't even tell what color it is.

There's big beanbag chairs everywhere and one of those big counters where dad keeps that nasty juice that gives you a headache (he snuck some once. He was puking for hours).

Oh and there's a guy laying on the counter watching him. He's odd too.

His skin is white, like paper white, which makes the glowing orange hair and neon green eyes stand out more. He might have looked intimidating with his sharp teeth and being so tall (he stretched across the entire counter!) if he wasn't wearing fluffy fox slippers and a big fluffy bathrobe.

"Hi there, how'd you end up in my bar?"

what's a bar? He's not usually supposed to talk to strangers but this is a dream so it's ok right?

"I'm Jaune Arc, and I'm here cuz this is a dream!"

The man seems confused and amused.

"Jaune Arc huh? One of my sisters favorites. Well I can't really tell you my name so you can call me whatever you want. I'm not sure what we're doing in your dream buddy. What do you wanna do?"

"Let's be heroes Mr.Bob!"

The man falls off the counter when he hears the name.

"Bob? Ok, Bob it is. I dunno about being a hero kid, not sure i'd be good at it."

"You don't like helping people?"

"Sure I do but there's plenty of ways to help people kid."

"Really?"

"Sure, doctors help people, charities help people, scientists help people."

"I know charity is good, and doctors like mom help people but how do scientists help people? It thought they just made things go boom and laughed when there was thunder?"

"That's tv scientist. Real scientist make things.....and laugh at thunder. Scientist help make the medicine your mom uses and other stuff that make peoples lives better."

"So scientist are better than heroes?"

"Not saying that, saying scientist are a different kind of hero."

Jaune was confused by this so he did what his dad does when talks start going ways he doesn't like. Change the subject.

"Hey you said you have a sister? And I'm her favorite?"

"I have a lot of family, and you're one of her favorites. She likes people who know what they want, and you want to help people."

"Yeah! What's her name?"

"Sorry buddy can't tell you that, why don't you pick a name for her too?"

"Ok. Will I ever meet Miss bob-ette?"

Jaune must have picked a good name because Bob was smiling a big smile.

"Probably not but I'll tell her you said hi."

Jaune started feeling tingly. That means he's gonna wake up soon.

"Bye Mr.Bob!"


[Madness of Evolution] watched the child fade away.

How odd for a human soul to repeatedly end up falling into godly realms. Still it's something new and new is good.

Hopefully he got the kid interested in science over swinging a sword. It's not glorious but being under his banner would definitely be better than under his sister [All Consuming Ideals]. He didn't lie when he said his sister liked him, but just because he's a favorite doesn't mean he'll be treated well (as the Taurus boy proves). She can't help it, it's her nature. People suffer for their ideals.

[Madness of Evolution] put aside thoughts of Jaune Arc. someone else caught his attention. A man willing to tear off a chunk of his soul to create artificial life.

Absolutely insane. Inspired and innovative technique. How wonderful.

"Innocent" Members of the White Fang
Teams RWBY and JNPR had intercepted another White Fang operation in Vale. This time though, Blake managed to get close enough to give Roman Torchwick a good haranging.

Her voice rose, her eyes blazing with righteous fury.

"HOW COULD YOU MAKE THESE INNOCENT FAUNUS WORK FOR YOU?!" She demanded.

"They're terrorists, not exactly innocent to begin with, Kitty Kat," Roman said, his voice dry. "Seriously, what, did Adam just make you get the coffee?"

"NO! I was his second in command!" Blake snapped.

"Uh-huh. I'm sure you were recruited for your brains, sweetheart," Roman taunted. Ruby held Blake back as she lunged, her Aura flaring.

"I mean, he has a point, Blake," Yang pointed out.

Blake shook her head furiously.

"I… I'm sure the Faunus working for the White Fang were all misguided and innocent!"

A White Fang goon shrugged. "No, I'm a rapist."

Another piped up.

"I get kids hooked on drugs."

"I make drugs! To get kids hooked on them!"

"I'm a rapist," the first repeated.

"You already said that," the second goon muttered.

"Well, I like rape!" the first insisted.

Another goon sighed. "I owned a mattress store franchise."

Gasps echoed.

"You make me sick!" the first goon spat.

Blake's eyes widened, her voice desperate as she zeroed in on another White Fang goon. "Well, what about you?!"

"I was a corporate lawyer. For the SDC," this goon said.

"But you quit and joined the White Fang to fight the good fight?" Blake asked, hopeful.

"Actually, it's because I was a serial killer," the goon admitted.

Yang raised an eyebrow. "…You seriously didn't know?"

"I-I'm sure it's not representative of the entire White Fang! Really!" Blake stammered.

"And you call me a spoiled princess," Weiss scoffed.

"Um, do you need our help?" Jaune called.

"Just sorting some stuff out, Jaune!" Ruby called back. "I think Blake's having a mental crisis!"

Jaune sighed.

"I'll get the tuna and scratch behind her ears."

Why Jaune Shouldn't Use Crocea Mors
So, recently AJT posted about a Naruto based, "Why Jaune shouldn't use" over at FFN.net

And since we have another Shonen Protagonist who shares........scary number of similarities with Jaune(Sun is the only acceptable Naruto in RWBY), I decide to write my own little Prose. What I like to call -->

Why Jaune shouldn't use....... Crocea Mors!?
BAM! BAM!

Rang out two shots as they hit Jaune right in the chest, while his Aura protected him but the recoil from the projectiles' impacts, somehow, managed to slam him backwards. The surprising attack came from the latest of Salem's agents. A unnervingly pale, tall, lanky fellow, with green makeup following the tear streak of his eyes with similar colored green eyes.

Jaune quickly gathered his bearings, and tried to retrieve his Scroll and alert his friends, if only, but somehow his alert couldn't reach them!

"There is no use for your futile flailing", calmly, almost lazily said this unknown person.

"For no matter how hard a fish prays, despair would consume it still, on the Butcher's board"

Jaune wanted to really, really punch his stupid face in but the difference in their capabilities was too much. And somehow he had managed to isolate him and box him in this part of the Ruins, present at the heart of Vacuo's harsh deserts.

Now looking at certain death in face, all with the bastard's uninterested look, as if this whole ordeal was nothing but a regularity in is schedule was actively pissing him off. Yes, he knew he could get frustrated, get hung up on things, but this genuine rage he was feeling, it was much more recent, much more fresh.

'Heh, and here I thought if I could just be good enough to stand with them, all my problems would be solved, FOOL, ' thought Jaune to himself, now realizing that power was it's own curse. His weird Semblance, one he had taken to call Archetype, allowed him to gain some weird skills and personalities once he got in contact with a weapon, but strangely not on any weapon, only weapons of Huntsmen.

Through this he gained capability, and in that he believed that he could actually protect people, yet all it took was one slightly more capable monster in Salem's little army and here he was, separated from the rest of his team, as they were called to answer another disaster in Vacuo.

Through his Friends and Comrades and little tricks, Beacon still stood tall even after Salem's machinations after the Vytal Festival, but to placate the terror and fear of the larger populace of Remnant, Ozpin directed them to take missions alongside other kingdoms.

"I hope you have made peace, while it was certainly..... new to let myself act like this, I must move forward", and almost lazily he began to charge up his Lance/Cannon weapon, only instead of Aura or Dust, it was powered by what appeared to be liquid Grimm essence, the same essence that vaporized once you fell a grimm, now concentrated and coalescing, in the insidious sphere of verdant and dark glow.

Time stood still

What are you waiting for now, fool~

NO! Stay away from this!

Oh, that looks like fun, come on let me take a crack at it~~

And everything moved

All at once, a brilliant yet terrible force exploded out from Jaune's bloodied, hunched body, armor broken at places and clothes scraped at some others, yet the show of power from his being contrasted absolutely with his broken form.

This force managed to disperse his opponents strong yet admittedly half heartedly created sphere of destruction, but this stranger managed to endure this titanic show of dominance with nothing more than a step back and covering his face.

Suddenly, Jaune rose, but in an eerie, unnatural manner, as though an animated puppet rather than a living being.

He immediately threw himself backward, still sending but now bending and back almost parallel to the ground, his arms were brought up, one hand twitching and clawing at nothing but air while the other clutched one half of his face as the dome of force around him grew, hi remaining upper body's armor and clothes explodes as he gave a final terrifying roar!

"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH-", he roared out and finally after an even stronger explosion the force around him suddenly vanished, raising a dust cloud.

Once it was cleared, he stood straight, Crocea Mors in its Great Sword form, merged with its Shield to make a larger, broader blade.

But something was different in his posture. It was uncaring, slouching at one side.

But the worst was his face. The immediate feature that stood out was a half of his face covered in a terrible, almost bone like, mask with red marking running from top to bottom, not unlike that of a Grimm. His eyes, stretched terrifyingly wide with darkened sclera and burning poisonous yellow irises.

And a manic grin on his face as he looked at his opponent with pure HUNGER!

Before the stranger could comment on this development, His lance moved, blocking and barely holding off an attack that came from Janue or whatever stood in his place as this grinning new entity, pushed and suddenly both were face to face, as if this entity's strength was enough to one handedly push against his guard despite the mechanical advantage he had.

This grinning menace looked at him, salivating from its mouth and said, "You know, I really want to kiss you right now. But all of that love is over shadowed by this overwhelming hunger, so please kind sir", he said, softly but the quality of his voice felt like two separate audio files echoing together, as he took his free hand and put it on the blade of the larger Crocea Mors," won't you feed this poor sinner?" he said as suddenly the blade glowed a darkened gold and an explosion of this....Aura(?) went off.

Jaune. Please I am begging, be alright.

Thought Pyrrha as she ran along with the rest of team JNPR, following the sight and sound of another explosion the fifth in under 40 seconds hoping that this constant activity in that area meant that at least some struggle was going on unless the perpetrator was a simple sadist doing it for their own sick desires.

Salem has no scarcity of those in her arms.

Said a terrified part of her psyche, even she destroyed another Beowulf that tried to block her path, with her Akuo.

She owed her life to her team leader, among many other reasons why she held him so dear, she wouldn't bear the thought of something happening to him.
Oh Gods, please, protect him.

Her Prayer sent, she again sped Ren and Nora along with herself with her semblance so that they may reach their leader quicker. Ren shouted a warning to conserve her Aura, but her turmoiled heart wouldn't let her hear anything till she managed to ensure his safety.

And removed whatever threat was posed to him
Noir Verde, was getting irritated, a first for him yet understandable as this animal kept leaping and bounding and swinging at him with that that giant blade of his, each hit carrying a thundering crack of Aura(?) that had forced him to regenerate his arms more than a few time, followed by his cackling laugh, sounding like the screech of a Nevermore, as he was forced to defend and bring out his wings, terrible bat-like wings, to dodge but when that vector of attack was covered, suddenly that animal started to leap around and use the frankly absurdly large pillars of the ruins and run on them, keeping up with him even at he ran at an acute angle towards the ground rather than perpendicular.

His wings given to him by his mistress, were tattered, and he couldn't even focus on healing them because as if this display of thorough degradation of sense and order wasn't done yet, that glowing mass of Aura(?) surrounding his blade now started to shoot like projectiles as he swung his blade from a distance!

The worst part was that this feral beast was learning, shrugging of his hits that he knew could level buildings and if anything managed to get through, his Aura(?) healed, but making sure that same pattern of attacks couldn't hold its potency against him for more than three clashes, even parrying and blocking somewhat strategically.

Why isn't his Aura depleting. And why does he feel like....us?
Thought Noir, as he tried to once again gain ground by launching another giant blast which that beast simply charged through, any minor wound healed instantly if he even took any.

He decide he had enough of this beast, and changed tactics.

He charged his lance with the grace of his mistress, and rushed forward as well, as if to meet him in a clash, but just when he was about to actually deliver the blow, he switched and feinted.

And this beast anticipated even that and moved to adjust same time as him! But that was fine, he decided to use a more uncouth tactic and as he got himself in position close to, he headbutted him, with all his might, something that in his hindsight was a certainly unwise decision.

It cracked his mask a little but seemed to affect more himself than this animal, and just about when he though another empowered slash of his would land on his chest-something that would cause even him problem healing- something came blindingly fast, too fast for Noir to notice and stabbed him in his chest!

But, instead of using this opportunity to chop him up, this beast looked at the projectile- A spear- and he hesitated, eyes widened, as if in recognition.

"Dammit not now!"

cried the beast as his hand seemed to clutch his ruined mask despite his struggling and rip the ruined mask off. Quicker than he could protest, and suddenly Jaune's eyes seemingly went normal, as he looked directly at Noir for a moment.

A moment in which Noir went to attack Jaune, now seemingly lucid, launching a small blast at him which launched him a little back but at the same time a flying grenade hit Noir straight in the chest, exploding in pink smoke.

While the grenade wasn't nearly as potent as the boy's slashes, he was already weakened, and was thus in great pain, yet he bit his lower lip to stave off the pain, heal a little while the smoke covered him, and used his wings to quickly fly off in the cover of the smoke.



Ren watched the wretched monster flying off like a scared rat, as he also shot at him with Stormflower, but his bullets seemingly doing no damage on him.

Maybe I really should switch to a higher caliber.

He filed it for later, making sure that Jaune was alright was important right now.

He looked over at his leader, while Pyrrha scanned all over a kneeling Jaune who was now clutching the handle of his enlarged Crocea Mors for support.

He was on one knee, hi eyes were wide as he panted, taking the support of his weapon, as Pyrrha looked over him with tears in her eyes. Then Jaune raised his arm and put it on Pyrrha's hand in a gesture of placation, which seemingly worked as she broke into a sob and went to hug and clutch to Jaune, with Nora following suite as it was clear that their precious leader was not severely injured.

An action he followed through as well. Finally calming his racing Heart down.
Jaune hugged his team back, feeling that sense of being torn apart finally settle as if parts of himself were re united with his body.

I should be dead. At least broken beyond repair.

His analytical mind went to work, as he confirmed that his team was safe, with no injuries and finally focused that he himself, while feeling as if all his bones were being flattened by a Hydraulic Press and blood Vessels seemed to be transporting fire, there was seemingly nothing broken or even too damaged, other than superficial wounds.

He hugged his team back tighter, knowing all four of them needed this and close his eyes. Jaune's tiredness started to catch up on him. With a pat he signaled Pyrrha, and looked at her.

She somehow understood his meaning, and along with Nora and Ren, carried him up and started to help him towards the Medic aid that just arrived behind the team.

Looks like Ren probably called them, thought Jaune as he forced himself to stay awake.

But what....... is happening....... to me? Jaune asked in his Psyche as the field medics stated to measure his vitals and tried to keep him steady, loading him up on the back of the ambulance.

.....This is.... Fine.

"Hey Jaune? What's this?" Ruby asks as she pulls out a large crystal from the filled box that he and Nora keep in their closet. She ignores, again, the sign that says 'DO NOT TOUCH! ESPECIALLY TEAM RWBY, OZPIN, PYRRHA, AND EVERYONE!!' in big red letters.

Jaune, turning over and looking at it, pales as he recognizes what she had grabbed. "Ruby," he says in a pleading voice. "Please put that down and walk away slow..."

"Oops," comes from Ruby's lips as she drops the crystal, the myriads of cuts giving off infinite reflections for but a moment as the sunlight hits it. And as soon as it hits the carpet, a mass of figures burst out of it. Inhuman and unnatural shadows, mists, and more launch themselves from the gem, laughing and speaking in voices that makes the ears of everyone in Beacon start to bleed even as quite a few start to suffer seizures.

"DAMN IT!" Jaune shouts out as he reaches under his bed and pulls out a customized shotgun and a pouch full of special shells. "Not again! Please don't tell me they remember.."

"Remember my future husband? Darn right I do!" comes from behind Jaune as silvery hair falls around him. Ruby looks on in shock as from Jaune's shadow against the wall a girl in a black and white checkered dress, silvery hair, and green eyes manifests. "Thanks for letting me out! I'm the Chaos that is Crawling to Jaune with a Smile! Nyarl.."

"Please let my dear little brother go annoyance," another voice cuts the silvery haired girl off even as shadowy tenderils grab her and throws her out the window with a shout of 'GOTCHARD!' "Now then, let big sister Chiyo help Jaune."

The rest of Team JNPR rushes through the door, weapons ready only to freeze at the side of a tall, pale skinned woman with a necklace made of eyes, goat hooved feet, and horns atop her hair that frames her long black hair. She turns a gentle smile to them, "Oh hello there. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Jaune's big sister Chiyo."

Outside of Beacon, everyone can hear five voices, all but one being part of Beacon's now becoming more infamous team, shout out at once, "DAMN IT RUBY!!"

"You're part of the problem Nyaruko!" Jaune's voice could be heard seconds later..

Penny's Team: Alternate
The Artificial Team.

Another idea for Penny's team? There are two other members aside from Penny and Ciel, of course. They're young, powerful, confident. One is hidden physically all the time, and the other a blonde girl Jaune finds rather familiar. Their names are Garnet and Joan... And they're clones of Summer Rose and Isabel Arc.

Isabel's Semblance is extremely powerful and since it has a physical component, this means it is more likely to be reproduced in a clone. Summer's Silver Eyes are genetic so if you clone her, you get more anti-Grimm killing laser eyed women.

Together you would have two very powerful combatants.

Since Isabel is functionally this world's version of Tsunade. And Summer is an anti-Grimm laser shooter. The two of them backing up Penny, a super gynoid, means you have a very powerful anti-Grimm team. As Isabel's clone can enhance her own physical abilities to either keep up or support the others, Summer's clone can fire off anti-Grimm energy blasts, and Penny is a super robot with plasma blasters and flying swords.

And Ciel is there to, presumably, keep the group on task.

Honestly, this one thing really got my mind rumbling with an idea.

When Weiss first sat next to Jaune, not really thinking much of it outside of annoyance, she is hit by the faint remembrance of her grandfather brushing her hair when she was very little. As the minutes past, the feelings of acceptance, care, and even love starts to flow into her. Without even realizing it, she has grabbed Jaune's hand and is trying not to cry from not realizing how much she wanted to feel these things.

The need to feel these things.

The ringing of the bell comes faintly to her ears. But why? The cookies aren't ready yet, they just put them into the oven! Turning her head, the sight of the blonde hair and blue eyes of her husband and father of their precious daughter greets her. As she softly smiles up at him, leaning upwards to kiss him..

"Okay, that enough Weiss Cream," Yang's words pulls her back to the present even as Pyrrha pulls Jaune away from her.

"No..," softly pleads Weiss in longing at what she was seeing. What she was experiencing. "Let me go.. I said LET ME GO!" she screams as she lashes out, a hasty glyph appearing to throw Yang away from her. "Our baby! Our little girl! I need to see her again!" she cries out, not even caring that Professor Port and even the wandering by Professor Peach saw her acting like this.

"BABY?!?!" Ruby shouts at Weiss's words. Blake just raising an eyebrow at what she said. "But I thought you were going to ask Neptune out?" Pyrrha asks. "You don't like Jaune. You even told me that you would rather die.."

"I didn't mean it! I was stupid and," Weiss starts to say before Jaune just sighs and undoes his blazer. "Not again," he whispers to himself as he carefully wraps it around Weiss who calms down and nuzzles into it even as she stares happily up at him.

"I swear this happened so much back home," he groans a little annoyed. "First is was my adopted sister Burnice. And then her girlfrined Pulchra when she came over. Not to mention all the kids from the hospital. And this is before my Aura was unlocked."

"This happened before?" everyone asks not noticing a certain tanned skinned, green haired girl sneaking away with his tie in her hands. Taking a deep breath of it and vowing to better set her alarm with her ear buds for when she snuck into his bed later that night.

Oh this is a fun idea.

Team J_PR is worried. Nora has been acting weird for the past few weeks, around the same time she bought that goofy ass pink sloth plushy (she says his name is Mac).

She's always tired and randomly disappearing. She's also been sneaking food, more often than usual, and it's not pancakes! She's sneaking like 40 burgers a week into the dorm.

Nobody is sure where the fuck they're going because she isn't gaining weight but the burgers keep getting eaten.

So her worried team decides to spy on her and they definitely weren't expecting what they found.

"Ey Nora, we gots another greater Grimm ta take care of."

Why the fuck is the plushy moving and talking with a bad gangster accent?!

"You got it Mac!"

Aaaaand Nora is sparkling, that some kind of aura trick?

"With love and lightning I'm here to save the day!"

Where the fuck did her hammer come from? Or the schoolgirl uniform she's wearing for that matter?!

"Magical girl Magnhild!"

"Cool, cool. Now let's whack this sucker and go home I'm gettin hungry, think I'll have a bacon burger this time."

They may need to have a talk about this later.
 
Sun and Jaune's Double Date with Blake and Yang
ANYWAY! We need more ideas for Team SSSN and fun. We had an older idea of Sun asking Jaune to ask out Yang to go on a double date with him and Blake. Imagine it going crazy.

Sun: "Jaune! Take Yang out! With me and Blake! A double date is way less stressful, right?"

Jaune: "I uh... Well... What about Weiss-?"

Sun: "Dude."

Jaune: "Uggggghhh... Fine."

Later...

Jaune: "HOW DID WE END UP FIGHTING TERRORISTS?! AGAIN?!"

Blake: "Sun, honey, this date was a fantastic idea!"

Yang: "IM GOING TO SKIN THAT CAT!"

Jaune: Sigh "Well... We stopped the plot... And with a minimum of collateral-"

The warehouse explodes.

Blake: "... Run."

Yang: "Quickly!"

They sit at a cafe while the police and firefighters go by.

Sun: "Sooo... What about the art museum for our next date?"

Blake: "... Sounds good."

Yang: "Jaune… next date, we're going alone, to a quiet place. Like a movie. Or dinner. Just us two. And no insane Terrorist-seeking moron with us."

Jaune: "Wait there's a next date?"

Yang: "Yes, doofus! I refuse to let this be the only date I've gone on at Beacon! So you're taking me to a nice place, and then maybe, we'll go on a third!"

Sun: "Woo! Sounds great-"

Yang: "YOU'RE NOT INVITED!"
 
The Kitsune
So I made a idea once for a prototype hound. Now let's try for a refined one.

I'm picturing a almost normal looking human (the host) with very dark circles under their eyes, kinda a pale sickly skin color (but not like Salem). Maybe a pair of Grimm goo animal ears and tail (I'm thinking of fox for a specific reason).

A truly integration of human and Grimm, not a graft like what cinder did or the human being just a battery.

This is a Grimm fully able to use the thoughts, memories, and skills of its host body. It's as smart as it is cruel.

Unlike other Grimm it doesn't just detect negativity. It feeds off of it.
Now let's whip up a example host...hmmm let's not go with Jaune. Since I'm going for a specific theme I guess Ren fits the best.

*Picture Ren sitting on a rock goo tail moving slowly behind his back as he glares down at team JNP_*

Ren: "Our team back together again, did you miss me? When you left me to die."

Jaune: "you made us leave! Told us to save the people and that you'd hold the line!"

Ren: "that I did, I can't fault you for that, but there is something I can fault you for. Why didn't you come back for my body? You left me to rot."

Pyrrha: "we were getting together people to come with us. The ruins are still crawling with Grimm."

*Black veins flash across rens face and for a minute his teeth look sharp like razors and his gums are black*

Ren: "DON'T YOU LIE TO ME!"

*Rens face quickly goes back to normal*

Ren: "Not again, don't lie like you care, well I've found a new group to work with. They're scum but at least I expect them to stab me in the back."

*Nora is practically catatonic. Ren breathes in deeply like he's savoring something.*

Ren: "despair, self hatred, budding rage. I should have known Nora would still care. You all just led her astray."

*Nora twitches*

Ren: "come with me. It'll be just the two of us, like old times."

*Nora raises her hammer. And points it at Ren*

Nora: "something's wrong with you. We're gonna drag you back to beacon and they'll fix you!"

*Ren looks at Nora in seeming disappointment*

Ren: "such a shame."

*The illusion of Ren on the rock fades away as the real one tears Noras heart out*

Ren: "this would have been painless if you'd have just listened for once."

*Ren throws her body over his shoulder as various strange Grimm start crawling out of his shadow*

Ren: "deal with them. I have a friend to fix."

*Ren disappears like a mirage*

Matchmaker Jaune (Revised)
The Beacon courtyard buzzed with the chatter of students, the air crisp with the scent of blooming flowers and polished armor. Jaune Arc, still stinging from his cringeworthy antics at the dance, had been working hard to be a better friend—especially to Weiss Schnee, whose rejections had left him wincing at his past self. So when he spotted her in a heated argument with Flynt Coal, an Atlasian exchange student with a sharp tongue and sharper hat, Jaune's first instinct was to charge in, shield raised. But Pyrrha's advice echoed in his mind—assess the situation—and he hung back, watching from the edge of the fountain.

Flynt's voice cut through the air, laced with venom. "You just strut around like you're the queen of everything, when your father stole everything he ever got!"

Weiss's posture stiffened, her ice-blue eyes flashing, but her voice wavered. "I'm sorry that my father did that! It—It was business, but—"

"But what?" Flynt snapped, leaning in. "You don't have anything to do with it?!"

"I-!"

"You aren't benefiting from it?!" Flynt demanded.

Jaune's fists clenched, but he held steady, his mind racing.

Wow, Pyrrha was right. Taking a moment to assess the situation is great… Okay then…

"Except she didn't," Jaune said, stepping forward with a calm but firm tone.

Flynt's glare swung to him, his trumpet case swinging at his side, while Weiss's head whipped around, her expression a mix of surprise and relief. Jaune met Flynt's eyes, undaunted.

"She couldn't have anything to do with her father's decisions! You're just lashing out at her because you can't get to her dad!"

Flynt bristled, his voice sharp. "Listen, White Knight, you don't have any—!"

"She's a good person!" Jaune cut in, his voice steady, his blue eyes blazing. "I know her well enough to know that! And she didn't do anything, so what does that make you?!"

The courtyard seemed to hold its breath. Flynt's glare burned, but Jaune didn't flinch, his stance solid. After a tense moment, Flynt sucked in a breath, his shoulders slumping as he nodded slowly. He turned to Weiss, his voice softer.

"…I'm sorry. He's right."

Weiss blinked, her mouth parting.

"What?"

"I just… I've been so angry for so long, I wanted something to lash out at," Flynt admitted, rubbing the back of his neck. "But it's not fair to you. Can… can we start over? I'm Flynt Coal, and it's nice to meet you."

Weiss hesitated, then took a deep breath, her composure returning as she extended a hand. "I'm Weiss Schnee. It's a pleasure."

Flynt reached out and took her hand respectfully.

He glanced at Jaune, a grudging respect in his eyes.

"Thanks, man. That was pretty cool."

Jaune flushed, shrugging awkwardly.

"Just… you know… trying to be a good friend."

Weiss's gaze softened, her voice gentle.

"Well… thank you, Jaune. Flynt and I need to talk…?"

"Oh, uh, sure," Jaune said, backing off with a quick wave before heading toward the dorms. He smiled to himself: He was doing better. Being a good friend!

Later, in the bustling Beacon cafeteria, the clatter of trays and laughter filled the air as Team JNPR dug into lunch. Jaune was mid-bite of a sandwich when Weiss approached, her heels clicking with purpose. Team RWBY trailed behind, Yang smirking, Ruby nibbling a cookie, and Blake scanning the room like a wary cat.

"Jaune?" Weiss said, her voice bright. "I wanted to thank you again for helping me with Flynt."

Jaune swallowed, his grin lopsided. "Oh, um, you're welcome. I just wanted to help. Things going okay?"

"Great, actually!" Weiss beamed, her hands clasped. "He asked me on a date… and I accepted!"

Jaune's sandwich paused halfway to his mouth, his eyes widening.

"Oh… Oh. Um… Th-That's great."

"Isn't it?" Weiss said, her smile radiant. "And it's all thanks to you!"

Jaune's heart sank, but he forced his smile to hold, his voice strained but kind.

"You… you betcha…"

Weiss turned and headed off with a skip in her step, oblivious to the shadow crossing Jaune's face. Pyrrha's hand brushed his arm, her emerald eyes soft with concern, while Nora leaned over, whispering loudly, "Don't worry, Jaune-Jaune! We'll find you a better princess!"

Ren sighed, sipping his tea. Ruby winced and reached out to pat Jaune's shoulder, while Yang grinned-Though there was sympathy in her gaze.

"Tough break, Vomit Boy," she said, "But there's more fish in the sea."

Jaune's smile wavered, but he nodded, his voice barely audible. "Yeah… tough break…"

"Or you could share," Blake suggested. Every stared at her. She blinked and lightly blushed.

"Sorry. Should have kept that thought to myself."

"You seriously need a boyfriend, Kit-Kat," Yang sighed. She brightened. "Hey Ladykiller! You got Weisscream with Flynt! What do you say-Wanna go two for two?"

"That would require Jaune-Jaune to have a crush on Blake first!" Nora said cheerfully. Her eye brightened. "Wait! This solves both problems at once!"

"No it doesn't!" Jaune and Pyrrha shouted.

Blake hummed and shrugged.

"It might?"

Jaune: "So... You don't want to see more?"

Weiss: "... I didn't say that."

Pyrrha: "I personally like Spock a great deal."

Nora: "Me too! He reminds me of Renny!"

Ren: cocks an eyebrow "I find that most... Illogical."

Jaune: "HAAAA! THAT'S PERFECT!"

Blake: "Now... If we could have Jaune cosplay as Kirk, and them kiss-"

Ruby: "WHAT?!"

Weiss: "Y-You pervert!"

There is the sound of something breaking. Everyone looks over at Nora, who dropped a plate of pancakes. Nora sobs.

Nora: "NOOOOO! My pancakes!"

Ren: "Oh dear."

Jaune: "It's okay, it's okay Nora! I'll make you some more! Ren, you just relax."

Ruby: "But the Romanlan episode is next!"

Jaune: "It's cool, I've seen it a dozen times!"

Weiss: "So it's worse than the Spirk's Brain episode?"

After the episode...

Weiss: "That... Was really good!"

Yang: "Yeah, the third season is all over the place. Sometimes it's really amazing, other times it's... Spirk's brain."

Blake: "I like the complex relationship between the Romanlan Commander and Spirk. Lots of nuance."

Jaune: comes in with a plate of pancakes with chocolate sprinkles and whipped cream "Here you go, Nora."

Nora: gasp "YAY!" She takes it and digs in happily "MmmMmmm~! Delicious~!"

Ren: tenses a bit

Jaune: slips him the recipe

Ren: relaxes "I do appreciate the Vulcanians and the Romanlans, and their complex relationship."

Ruby: "I liked the cloaking device the most! So cool! Scotty's my hero!"

Jaune: "Scotty is super cool."

Yang: "And it was hilarious how Captain Irk had to pretend he was insane as cover for the mission."

Weiss: "Not like Bill Hatner could do anything less but chew the scenery..."

Ruby: "MORE EPISODES!"

Jaune: "All right!"

They finish the series...

Weiss: "... So a woman swapped bodies with Captain Irk... To prove she could be a Starship Commander... And was totally insane... And that's the last episode? The series finale?"

Jaune: "Yeeeeah... They were hoping for a fourth season but failed."

Yang: "And it's contradicted by all the future series... But then again, this chick was totally insane so you could just write her off like that. I mean, she was totally bonkers!"

Ruby: "I liked the previous episode as a series finale better! The time travel stuff was great!"

Jaune: "It is good... But... I dunno, Space Quest time travel is weird. I always feel weird about that."

Yang: "Pfft! Relax, Stud!" He sits next to her, and she cuddles up to him "It's not like every film has time travel."

Weiss: "Wait... Films? What films?"

Ruby: "... I KNOW WHAT WE'RE WATCHING NEXT!"

Pyrrha: Wincing, twitching after a training mission went bad "Nnnngh...!"

Jaune: "Pyr? What is it? Did you get hit by those bandits?"

Nora: "Come on! There's no way she got hit by a bullet!"

Pyrrha: "N-No... It's not... A bullet... He was a porcupine faunus... And he shot those quills..."

Jaune: "Oh. Since they're not metal... Yeah... So! Where is it?"

Ruby: "Yeah! You look fine!"

Pyrrha: "Ummm..."

Apotheosis
Here's a fun one and part of the inspiration will be obvious to a good chunk of fanfiction readers.

Without the brother gods to feed on it divine/faith energy has been building up on remnant.

Usually this would lead to new gods coming into existence but the brother gods severely fucked up the mana paths of the world so no gods are spawning.

Instead random people are just suddenly becoming Gods. Some of them are fitting. Some of them less so. All of them cause problems.


*Blake sitting on a armchair reading smut. Suddenly a light from the sky falls on her*

???: .praise to be Blake goddess of literature, drama, and tragic romance.

*The spotlight disappears*

Blake:....drama? I'm not dramatic.


*Cut to Ruby playing with Zwei. Suddenly a spotlight shines down on them*

???: bear withness to the birth of the god of heroes.

Ruby: *excited gasp*


???: praise be to Zwei the goodest of boys!



*Cut to jaunes sisters house where she's arguing with her wife. Adrian is watching from his crib getting annoyed and slightly hungry as his eyes lock into his moms chests. Suddenly a spotlight hits him*

???: praise be to Adrian the god of tits and beer!

Terra: the hell?

Saffron: are we being punked? I didn't sign a waiver to be on TV!

*Adrian claps his hands excitedly and both his moms go up a cup size*

Isabel Arc's Soap Opera
Crack idea by Allslayer:

Isabel realizing her son is as stubborn as her decides if he was going to be a huntsman she was gonna damn well make him more than that. Making him into the ultimate combat medic after seeing what his semblance was, both amping himself and others and in the process healing them.
So she takes a job at Beacon only to be the on hand doctor and a first aid teacher. While her son does the normal classes he has to help her in the infirmary as well. In doing so she realizes she has created a monster.

Jaune is so sincere, genuine, kind, and caring to a fault that he causes both male and females to fall for him. But he is also denser than a black hole not realizing he has countless students, teachers, and criminals all falling over themselves to have his attention on them.
She decides that as long as no one is hurt or killed she is just gonna let it ride. Knowing she is gonna at least get grandbabies out of this. Also, she does have a few she likes and helps them silently in the background.

Her scroll open with her husband and most of Jaune's sisters watching the dramas. Saphron and Terra are the most active viewers after Isabel.

Isabel: "Damnit if I have to work for Ozpin at this school full of hormonal melodramatic teenagers, I'm getting some entertainment out of it."

A fun idea in my Discord? What if Adam was actually Jacques Schnee's bastard child?

Jacques had a few women on the side, including a Cow Faunus Woman. When she learned she was pregnant she fled, fearing Jacques would make her abort the baby. She got help from an employee of Jacques in the know, and hid in a mining community. At some point she died of illness. Adam grew up an angry, bitter orphan... And then learned the truth. He is Jacques' son.

Thus, for him destroying the SDC is about revenge on a father he believes abandoned him, and a family that never knew about him. What are your thoughts?
 
The Arc Clan Idea: The Local Tailor
I will admit, there is one person I do want to include in The Arc Clan. The local tailor of Radian, who comes to Vale to do some additional work for Coco Adel's mother on occassion. A personable, friendly sort of person... But an enigma wrapped in a mystery. And the man who helped Jaune forge his way into Beacon.

Why? Well... He could tell you all sorts of reasons. He might have approved of the young lad's recklessness, his determination, reminding him so much of himself at that age.

He could have done it to spite Isabel Arc, who has never trusted him despite how long he's lived in the village: He even did up her wedding dress! Such an ungrateful woman.

He could have done it to get an Arc into the wrong place at the right time as his sources told him the war against the Darkness was taking a turn for the worse without him there.

He could have done it as a gag, expecting the young boy would fail and he would find it hilarious. And now that the boy is thriving, he finds it even more hilarious.

Which are the lies? Which are true?

Only one man knows and he certainly isn't going to tell you. You'll just have to trust him.

After all... He's just plain, simple Garak.

At the Beacon Cafeteria...

Weiss: "Honestly, why can't your families just not bother with you at all? Like mine! We-We have proper decorum!"

Ruby: "Weiss... Are you all right? Do you need a hug?"

Weiss; "NO! I do not need a hug! And stop sitting on Jaune's lap!"

Ruby: "But it's comfy!"

Jaune: "Ummm..."

Yang: "He's my fiance, Ruby!"

Ruby: "Good sisters share!"

Blake: "He's my fiance! Get your own!"

Yang: "No!"

Pyrrha: "He's my partner!"

Ren: "Jaune, you need to make a command decision to resolve things."

Jaune: "I can only order Pyrrha around!"

Nora: "Ruby! Accept a demotion so Jaune can order you to do stuff!"

Ruby: "That might be fun!"

???: "AH! Such delicious, wonderful chaos!"

With a flash of white light, a man in a mismatched suit with a goatee, miss-matched wings, and a wide grin appears. Jaune immediately stands up and glares.

Jaune: "Uncle Discord! You promised you wouldn't pop in at school!"

Discord: "But it's a surprise! Besides, this wonderful chaos-How could I miss it? Oh, hey Nora!"

Nora: "Hey Discord!" waves

Yang; "Wait, you two know eachother?!"

Nora and Discord: "No, we've never met in our lives! But it's more fun to pretend!" They both giggle "JINX!"

Jaune: sigh "Look, we're really not in the mood-"

Discord: "Mood?! MOOD?! Mood is for music and love play! Things you need some help with! Why not a fun mind bending game where we pit our intellects against one another-"

Jaune: "No."

Discord: "How about an epic adventure in another universe-?"

Jaune: "NO."

Discord: "A quick jaunt as Robin Hood-?"

Jaune: "NO!"

Nora: "But Jaaaaune! It would be so much fun!"

Jaune: "It's gonna have some stupid twist at the end or he'll change the game midway through or Aunt Elizabeth will make him knock that shit off! No!"

Discord: "Awww... You're no fun!"

Jaune: "Did Aunt Fluttershy kick you out of the house again?"

Discord: "What?! HA! Please! We love eachother! We couldn't stand to be apart-"

Jaune: "So that's a yes then. Go see Picard!"

There is a flash of white light. Everyone is in a Starfleet uniform aboard a starship. Discord reappears, now a dark haired man in a red uniform with a grin.

Discord/Q: "It's later somewhere! LET'S GO!"

The Origin of
A bit more of a comedic/dramatic Halloween idea... Jaune transforms into a human/Grimm hybrid with enhanced strength, speed, tentacles, etc. He has no idea how, or why.

It turns out that Nick Arc is in fact the son of Oz and Salem (They hooked up a few years back, as they still do because their relationship is so toxic it makes Chernobyl look like Three Mile Island). This explains why Nick is so insanely durable and why he never discovered his Semblance: His Grimm side combined with his powerful Aura made him a human tank. So he didn't need to find out.

This of course is rather concerning. Ironwood wants to take the whole Arc Clan into custody, Ozpin is against it as Nick and his children are his family, and Salem is shocked that her child actually is a perfect fusion of human and Grimm-Previous times this happened, the child was pure human and she just dropped them in orphanages to keep them away from her.

Jaune himself and his friends no doubt have some... Thoughts.

Blake: "T-Tentacles..."

Pyrrha: "Tentacles?"

Yang: "Tentacles~..."

Jaune: "Guys? Can we focus?!"

And with his parents...

Jaune: "MOM! Did you know?!"

Isabel: "Of course I knew! Your father told and showed me before we got married! I was scared at first but he told me he had no idea why he was this way! I've studied him and all of you for years but none of you showed any signs of Grimm hybridization until now! Not even Tangy and she's bloodthirsty!"

With Nick and Ozpin...

Ozpin: "I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner, Nick. I'm sorry I lied. I'm sorry you had to suffer that orphanage, growing up alone... I have made more mistakes than any other man... But these are the worst ones I have made. I won't ask your forgiveness-"

Nick: "But I do forgive you, Dad!"

Ozpin: "What?"

Nick: "Look, maybe I'm dumb but I'm not that dumb. I get it. And while my life was hard, it taught me what really mattered: Love, family, friendship. And you have a very heavy burden, Dad. I understand that... And while I'm not happy I had to go through all that, I am happy you didn't abandon me because you hated me or discarded me, you just didn't know. And you're very sad because of the right reasons. That means you're a good man, who had to make terrible decisions... And I can forgive that."

Ozpin: Holds back tears "... I do not deserve a son like you..."

And with Salem...

Salem: "Wait... This means... GRANDBABIES!"

Aqua: *Has transformed into a hauntingly beautiful Grimm/human hybrid, resembling a dark goddess... While she sobs* "KAZUMMMAAAAAA! OH, THEY SAID I WAS A HORRIBLE MONSTER! I PAID FOR THE WINE AND EVERYTHING BUT THEY STILL WANT TO DESTROY ME! KAZUMMMAAAAA!"

Kazuma: "... Huh. Okay, so I am into Grimm monster girls... Good to know, I guess..."

Tangy... Well...

Koenig; "Uh... Visha? You notice anything unusual about the Major?"

Visha: "Hmmm?" Looks over at Tangy... Who is demolishing several White Fang members as a human/Grimm hybrid, roaring like a furious monster as she slices them apart with her claws "... I think she did something new with her hair?"

Neummann: *deadpan* "Yes, that must be it."

Lilac... Well she's basically if Fluttershy and Belldandy did the fusion dance. Sooo...

Lilac: Singing a lovely song while doing chores... While several Grimm all help her out. Beowulves pick up trash, Grimm Racoons put away the dishes, an Ursa hangs out the laundry...

Lilac: Sees some staring children, beams, and waves "Hello Tom, Huck, Susan! How are you today?"

Huck: "... Fiiiine, Miss Lilac?"

Lilac: "Oh wonderful!"

Tom: "Do you need help Miss Lilac? With... Those Grimm?"

Lilac: "Not at all! They're very well behaved today!"
 
Jaune Arc, Single Father 3 (Revised)
The lecture hall for Professor Port's Grimm Studies class was a cavernous space, its walls lined with taxidermied Grimm heads and faded battle maps, the air thick with the scent of old leather and chalk dust. Jaune Arc strode in, his school uniform covered by a garish pink dress that strained across his broad shoulders, the hem swishing awkwardly above his knees. A sparkly tiara perched lopsidedly on his blond hair, glinting under the fluorescent lights.

The room fell silent, Team RWBY and JNPR staring from their seats. Yang's lilac eyes widened, a grin tugging at her lips. Ruby stifled a giggle behind her notebook, while Weiss's jaw tightened, her ice-blue eyes screaming disapproval. Blake's ears twitched under her bow, her expression unreadable. Pyrrha's smile was warm but amused, Nora cackled outright, and Ren's calm facade barely hid a smirk. Cardin Winchester, seated in the back, snorted derisively, but a sharp glare from Jaune silenced him.

Professor Port, mid-anecdote about a Beowolf hunt, paused, his mustache twitching as he adjusted his reading glasses.

"…Mister Arc, is there a reason you are coming into my class in a pink dress and tiara?"

Jaune straightened, his voice steady despite the flush creeping up his neck.

"Tea party with my daughter, sir. Ran a bit long."

Port's eyes lit up, his booming laugh echoing off the walls.

"Ah, say no more! Is she a Wisney princess fan?"

"Very much so, sir," Jaune replied.

"Who is her favorite?" Port asked, leaning forward, genuinely curious.

Jaune's grin softened, his blue eyes warm as he thought of Mia.

"Changes regularly, but right now she really loves Elsa and Anna."

"Jolly good!" Port clapped his hands, his voice booming. "My daughters are more fond of Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty! Why, I remember when I slaughtered a Boarbatusk herd with a Wisney Store's contents strapped to my back! I had 'Let It Go' stuck in my head, and it did raise my spirits, so I sang it loud and proud to keep the Grimm's attention on me!"

Jaune chuckled, adjusting his tiara. "I'll have to remember that one, sir."

"Well! Off with you, off with you," Port said, waving his hands at Jaune's seat. He sat down at his desk, and got down to writing notes as Port resumed his lecture.

"Pink is definitely your color, VB," Yang whispered to him from behind. Jaune smirked.

"You should see me in pumps."

Apparently Cinder x Adam is called Bull's Eye. It could also be called Trainwreck. "Dumpsterfire" is taken as an alternate pairing name for "Bumbleby."

So, while it would be total crack... Just imagine Adam and Cinder actually hooking up and become a power couple. A lot of it would be on Adam's end, to be honest.

Adam: "Blake! I've come to destroy Beacon... And here is my new girlfriend!"

Blake: "You-You... Wait, new girlfriend?!"

Adam: "She's better than you in every way!"

The Beacon dorm room was a cozy chaos of gaming gear and snack wrappers, the glow of dual monitors casting flickering shadows across Ruby Rose and Jaune Arc as they sat side by side, controllers in hand. Ruby's silver eyes sparkled with excitement as she leaned into the webcam, her voice bubbling over the stream's opening jingle. "Hey, Roseheads and ArcFans! Yes, we're finally doing a stream together!"

Jaune, his blond hair mussed from a long day, grinned at the camera, his tone easy but curious. "Hey! So… how's the chat looking?"

Ruby's eyes flicked to the scrolling chat, her smile twitching into a scowl. "I…" She huffed, her cheeks pinkening. "Yes, he's hot! I know he's hot!"

Jaune blinked, tilting his head. "Pardon?"

"I-I mean…" Ruby stammered, her hands flailing as she backpedaled. "I think you look good! You have normal knees, just like me!"

Jaune's brow furrowed, his voice a mix of confusion and amusement. "I… sure?"

"ANYWAY!" Ruby barreled on, her voice pitching up as she waved at the screen. "We're trying some new co-op indie horror games, since that's DarkArc's big thing when he's not being a jerk in MMORPGs."

Jaune shot her a mock glare, his grin teasing. "I'm not a jerk… exactly… Also, you suck."

"I do NOT suck!" Ruby protested, her pout fierce. "You're just some weird power-fetish gamer!"

"And you minmax!" Jaune countered, leaning closer. "Seriously, do you have spreadsheets for your character builds?"

"NO!" Ruby squeaked, then mumbled, "Okay, maybe one!"





Later in the stream, the screen shifted to the eerie, yellow-tinged corridors of The Backrooms: Deep Investigation. Ruby's avatar crept forward, her voice tinged with unease.

"Okay, so this is… what do you call it, DarkArc?"

"Liminal horror," Jaune said, his tone slipping into nerdy enthusiasm. "It's an anthropology term meaning transitory spaces. Like hallways, or workspaces, or big empty spaces like malls and warehouses. They're places you don't live, and you don't feel comfortable in if no people are around. It's just… off, strange, if they're entirely devoid of sound or people. Your imagination begins to turn every little noise into a monster. It's designed to emphasize your dread. The genre's been flooded thanks to the success of the original Backrooms with a lot of bad knockoffs, but you can still find potential gems."

Ruby stared at him, her eyes wide. "Wow… that was hypernerd."

Jaune flushed, scratching his neck. "And? Um, is that bad?"

"N-No!" Ruby blurted, her cheeks reddening as she fumbled with her controller. "I, uh, I actually kind of like it."

Jaune's grin softened, his voice warm. "Thanks…"





In the game, the oppressive yellow walls of the Backrooms loomed, their buzzing fluorescents casting harsh shadows. Ruby's voice was a grumble. "Ugh… I hate this shade of yellow. It's creepy and gross."

"Yeah," Jaune agreed, his avatar scanning a corner. "I read it's unsettling because it matches the tone of a decaying corpse's skin."

Ruby's head whipped toward him. "How do you know stuff like that?"

"Mom's a doctor, wanted me to be one too," Jaune said, his tone casual but tinged with something heavier.

"Oh. So, uh, that didn't work out?" Ruby asked, her voice softer.

"No… Let's see…" Jaune steered the conversation back, his eyes on the screen. "The sanity meter is very important, so let's keep that in mind."

"Sure, sure…" Ruby murmured, her gaze lingering on him before refocusing.

They wandered through the first level, the game's eerie silence broken only by the hum of lights. Ruby's voice grew tense. "Eesh… why is everything arranged so spooky? Like all these chairs in rows—it's weird!"

"That's kind of the point," Jaune said, his avatar pausing to check a door.

"I guess so… When's a monster gonna appear? This is weirding me out!"

"Again, kind of the point," Jaune teased.

"Well, I don't think anything will be scarier than—" Ruby's avatar turned a corner, revealing a blank-faced mannequin standing motionless. "EEEEP!"

Jaune burst into laughter, his controller shaking. "Hahahaahaha!"

"You—You didn't tell me there would be killer mannequins!" Ruby wailed, her cheeks puffing out.

"Ahahahaha!" Jaune wheezed, wiping a tear from his eye.

"STOP LAUGHING! It was—It was surprising, that's all! Ten minutes of nothing and then BAM! Stupid mannequin!" Ruby's avatar swung at the mannequin, landing a hit… only for it to swing back, knocking her character's health down. "OW! How—HOW DID IT HIT ME?!"

"Ahahahaha…!" Jaune doubled over, his laughter echoing through the mic.





More time passed, the game's tension ratcheting up. Ruby's voice was a frustrated growl. "Ugh… I hate these stupid mannequins… they keep moving when I don't look at them! Like the Crying Angels in Professor Paradox…"

Jaune nodded, his tone grim. "I really hope there aren't any Grimm like that. That would be horrifying, and they're already pretty bad."

"I know, right? Geez…" Ruby's avatar froze as the lights flickered, shifting to an ominous red. "Uh oh. Uh oh, what—what's happening? What's happening?"

"Yeah, we need to get into shelter. NOW," Jaune said, his voice urgent. "There's a locker where I am!"

"Where are you?! Where did you go?!" Ruby's voice pitched up, her avatar spinning in panic.

"I'm over here! I'm in the locker!" Jaune called, his character safe inside.

"Well, where's my locker?! Where's the—" Ruby's avatar rounded a corner, coming face-to-face with a scribbly, squiggly abomination loping toward her, its form a nightmare of jagged lines. "AAAHHH! AAAAHHHH! AAHHHHH!"

"There's a shelter near me! Run! RUN RUN RUN—!" Jaune shouted.

Ruby's avatar bolted, her fingers mashing buttons as she hit a locker and slammed the interact key… only to eject Jaune's character, taking his place inside.

"WHA—ROSESCYTHE!" Jaune yelped, his avatar now exposed.

Ruby giggled awkwardly, her voice sheepish. "I didn't know I could do that—!"

The scribble monster lunged, grabbing Jaune's character and tearing it apart in a gruesome animation. "AAAHHHHH! AHHHH!" Jaune screamed, half-laughing.

"SORRRRRRY!" Ruby wailed, then froze as the monster yanked the locker open, killing her character in a flash of red. "AAAHHH! WHAT!? IT CAN DO THAT?! WHY?!"

"It saw you go into the locker," Jaune said, his voice deadpan but amused.

"THAT'S NOT OKAY!" Ruby protested, slamming her controller down.

"Well, we can always respawn," Jaune said, his smirk audible.

"Sh-Shuhuh!" Ruby huffed, her cheeks red as she pouted at him. Jaune chuckled and leaned in, meaning to kiss her forehead. Ruby though tilted her chin at just the wrong moment… And their lips met.

It was brief, and they both pulled back immediately with bright red faces. Ruby coughed. Jaune coughed.

"... STREAM'S OVER!" Ruby cried, turning and running out. Jaune watched her run off, blinking.

"I… Wait what?"

Jaune looked at the screens… And flushed harder.

"N-No! I'm not-WE'RE NOT A COUPLE-I-UNTIL NEXT TIME!"

He shut off the stream, taking deep breaths to calm himself.

"Geez…"

Jaune had been up half the night to get through the Beacon Financial Audit. Ruby, his bodyguard for the night, had tried to stay up but he'd ordered her to bed. So she'd sacked out in the cot in the side room of his office-It seemed his predecessor was no stranger to long nights at the office.

Or maybe he'd needed a place to bang prostitutes, Jaune wasn't too sure. He also wasn't going to ask.

The door opened. Jaune frowned-Wasn't the door supposed to be locked?

"Hello?" He called out, hand already reaching for the hold out shotgun Yang and Ruby had gotten him. He still had Crocea Mors but twin barrels of Burn Dust at point blank range would give him more time to escape. Also it would wake up Ruby.

Glynda Goodwitch stepped into the light of the lamps on his desk, looking grave and seriously. Jaune blinked rapidly.

"Professor?"

"Councilman," Glynda greeted, "I have been dispatched to make a request. In regards to the audit."

Jaune blinked.

"I mean, about the audit-"

"I understand that there may be many mysterious transactions," Glynda began, "And not all of them are covered under the Securities Act or Ozpin's position as Chief Huntsman for Vale."

"Uh… I suppose I understand that," Jaune said, slowly and carefully. Glynda bowed her head.

"I know that our word alone isn't enough," Glynda said, "And that you will need more convincing. I cannot provide all the information. The stakes are simply too high."

Jaune slowly nodded, sitting up straight. He set his hands on the desk.

"I understand that but-"

"So," Glynda sighed, looking resigned, "If you need me to do anything… Anything at all… To gain your trust. To assure you of the seriousness of the situation. I am prepared to do anything you want. Absolutely anything."

Jaune blinked. He blushed.

No, no way… There's no way she could…!

His computer beeped. He looked at it for salvation… And he smiled.

"Oh! Um, I was just trying to say that the audit is complete! And uh, while we'll have to talk about some expenditures, it turns out that it can all be covered under the existing tax write off structure."

Glynda flushed a bit. She cleared her throat.

"Ah…"

"In fact," Jaune said with a smile, "I have found a lot of waste in the budget we could make good use of." He flipped his holowindows around, letting Glynda see his results. "For instance! I noticed that you have a lot of work, Professor. An absolutely massive workload."

"I do," Glynda said, frowning. Jaune beamed.

"So I found enough in the coffee budget to cut that would get you an assistant!"

Glynda gaped. She looked over the figures, and then nodded.

"I do believe that is the case," she said carefully. Jaune nodded back.

"And I was looking over your financial and tracking software," he said, and brought up another window. "I asked my sister-in-law, Terra, for some good software. She made it herself and I bought it with my own money. Give it a try! I'm linked into Beacon's system, after all."

Glynda blinked. She took hold of the keyboard and mouse and made use of the software. She transferred the latest packet of paperwork she had to do. Jaune nodded.

"Right, just input it in, use these parameters," he instructed. Glynda did so… And everything was organized and collated properly.

Her jaw dropped. Jaune continued to smile broadly.

"I… You… Why-?"

"You've been nothing but helpful to me, Professor," Jaune said earnestly, "You're tough but fair, and pushed me to work harder. You let me call you directly for help and advice. How could I not try to help you? Besides, this coffee budget is ridiculous, who needs this much-MMPH?!"

Jaune was unable to speak anymore, which was entirely understandable. After all, Glynda Goodwitch suddenly embraced him and proceeded to stick her tongue down his throat.

Jaune was frozen for a second… But despite his new office, he was still a teenaged boy. His arms went around her waist and he clumsily deepened the kiss.

"Jaune? Who's here?"

Jaune and Glynda pulled apart. Glynda waved her riding crop, her Semblance fixing her hair and make up before Ruby opened the door to the side room fully. The young Huntress-in-training blinked twice, looking suspiciously between the two. A flash of rose petals and she was by Jaune's side.

"Professor Goodwitch? What are you doing here?!"

"I was discussing some… Issues with Councilman Arc," Glynda said quickly, "But we have managed to sort them out. Haven't we, Councilman?"

Jaune was still gaping like a fish. Glynda's emerald eyes narrowed. Jaune coughed and shook his head.

"Ah, y-yes. Thank you, Professor. We-We've sorted everything out, Ruby! No problem! No problem at all!" He babbled. Ruby frowned, scowling at Glynda as she pressed against Jaune protectively.

"Really?"

"Yes! Yes, absolutely," Glynda cleared her throat, and adjusted her glasses. "Anyway, I will take this… This very good news back to Beacon and ensure Headmaster Ozpin signs off on the new budget."

"Great!" Jaune replied quickly, nodding his head, "That's great!"

"I… I look forward to working with you more in the future, Councilman Arc," Glynda said, a shy smile on her face with a hint of heat in her eyes. "And I am truly grateful for all you have done. Immensely grateful."

Her voice dipped into an almost sultry purr at the end. Jaune gulped, his face burning bright red. Ruby pouted, practically puffing her cheeks up like a squirrel with too many nuts. She clung to Jaune tightly and scowled at the professor.

"He is! Now go home, Professor! I need to make sure Jaune-Councilman Arc gets some sleep for tomorrow!" Ruby growled.

"Very well," Glynda said with a soft smile. She nodded to Jaune. "Goodnight, Councilman Arc."

"Uh… J-Just call me Jaune, please," Jaune managed. Glynda's smile grew just a hair.

"As long as you call me Glynda," she said. Jaune coughed-And winced as Ruby tightened her grip on him.

"I uh… That's difficult but I'll try, Prof-Glynda," Jaune managed.

Glynda nodded, and her warm smile made his heart skip a beat.

"Of course, Jaune," she said, turning and walking out. Jaune couldn't help staring after her swinging hips.

Did she always do that…?

Ruby's face filled his vision as she climbed up onto him and held onto his shoulders.

"Jaune! What are you doing?"

"Huh? I uh, um," Jaune tried, "Well…"

"First Yang and now Professor Goodwitch?!" Ruby demanded. Jaune blinked at her.

"W-What do you mean? I don't-What do you mean?"

"I…" Ruby scowled at him angrily. "You… Hmph!" She turned away and pouted unhappily. Jaune pulled her into a tight hug, and rubbed her back.

"I'm sorry Ruby," Jaune murmured. "Hey… How about we get some sleep?"

Ruby pouted at him. "I can't sleep. I have to be your bodyguard."

"Then we can sleep together?" Jaune offered. Ruby went bright red as she froze.

"T-T-Together?! We're-We're-We're-You-I-!" She fainted dead away. Jaune blinked in disbelief.

"Ruby? Ruby? You okay…?" He checked her pulse and breathing: Both fine. He sighed and shook his head as he held her.

"You're a handful," he mumbled. He saved his work and shut off his computer. He carried her off to the side room, and tried to lay her down onto the cot.

Emphasis on tried: She clung like a barnacle. Jaune sighed, trying to blink away his sleep… And gave up.

"Fine," he mumbled, laying down with her. He pulled a blanket up over them. "Least the press isn't here…" He frowned. "I hope."

He ruffled Ruby's hair affectionately. Ruby sighed softly and nuzzled into his chest.

"Mmm… Ruby Arc," she mumbled.

Jaune chuckled and kissed the top of her head again.

"Silly Ruby…"

Still, she was holding onto him very tightly and… He shifted, and blushed.

Boobs? Yeah. Those were boobs.

Your sisters have boobs too! He shouted at himself.

She's not your sister! And you're… Kind of dating her sister?

Jaune, too tired to argue with himself anymore, fell asleep as he cuddled with Ruby. She smiled softly.

Beat that, Yang! She thought smugly, before she too fell asleep.
 
Jaune Arc, Single Father 13
Mia is playing around outside the Beacon dorms in her costume... A mini and age appropriate version of Glynda's outfit. With a witch's hat.

Mia: "I'm a super cool witch!"

Mia: Waves her wand around "Shoooommmm! Pew pew pew!"

Glynda walked up, saw the little witch running around... And looks over at Jaune with a raised eyebrow.

Jaune: Puts his palms up as he looks at Glynda's conflicted expression. "I just want to say, again, I had nothing to do with this, its was all her idea. She wanted to be a Witch for Halloween, and apparently that translated to you, but with a witchy hat."

Mia: "A SUPER COOL WITCH!"

Glynda then smiled gently.

Glynda: "I'll take it as a compliment."

Jaune: Nervously scratches the back of his neck. "Well I'm glad to hear that, because I uh... kind of need a favor."

Glynda: "Oh?" Raised eyebrow

Jaune: Pulls out a tiny broomstick from behind his back. "I need you to enchant this broomstick, so my daughter can fly on it. Please?"

Mia: "Pleaaaassse?"

Glynda: "..."

Ten seconds later, Mia is squealing happily as she flies around the green

Jaune: Smiles genuinely at Glynda from how happy Mia is. "Thanks Professor, this means a lot to me."

Glynda: smiles "Well... I'm hardly a wicked witch, now am I?"

Jaune: A smile still on his face... "Nah, you're a Goodwitch. "

Glynda: sighs, little smile "You're truly your father's son."

Mia: "YAAAAYYY!"
 
The Princess Revealed
What if Blake was outed as the Princess of Menagerie at Beacon? Like, everyone now knows she's THAT Blake Belladonna?

(Yes she protests she's not a princess-Nobody listens.)

Cardin Winchester immediately makes nice because it's politically advantageous and his father is leaning on him to not be a bigot.

Neptune hits on her constantly, much to her and Sun's irritation.

She seeks solidarity with Arslan and Velvet as fellow Faunus-Arslan is unimpressed with Menagerie's anti-human policies, and Velvet hates Menagerie because Menagerians don't approve of human/faunus relationships.

Weiss... Is furious with Blake's hypocrisy and then realizes she HAS met Blake before-At fancy diplomatic dinners! As children! And Blake was unpleasant to her then too!
