Chapter 41 - Potion and Two Months Later
In the end, after talking with the Forge Master Goti Hammerson for some time, Valkorion said goodbye to the dwarven blacksmith as he left his shop and went back to his manor. Because he was already close to digesting the Warrior Potion entirely, he decided that it would be prudent to connect the Potion for the Sequence 6 Beast Knight.

He didn't know when precisely he would finish the digestion process, but he felt that soon enough, he would be reaching the limit, and from there, he would only need a small nudge in the right direction.

After that happened, he could advance to the Sequence 6 Beast Knight in one go.

When he arrived at the manor, Valkorion went to change into more comfortable clothes, as he wouldn't be spending the time in his own home wearing a combat outfit, which would be rather uncomfortable.

After he changed his clothes, Valkorion then started preparing the ingredients for the Beast Knight Potion. Spring of the Elves Marrow Crystals and Royal Jellyfish's Venom Crystal, as the two main ingredients, were already prepared and were in perfect condition.

He then lit the fire under the cauldron as he prepared to brew the Potion, while thinking that this was rather similar to the Potioneering from the Harry Potter. The last thing that was lacking here was Severus Snape calling him a dunderhead, and it would be a full experience.

In fact, Valkorion actually liked concocting the Potions because it was a nice hobby... if he had a source of the Ingredients, he would open a Potion Shop and sell Beyonder Potions, but that was really, really unrealizable.

When the water in the cauldron started boiling, he dropped there both Spring of the Elves Marrow Crystals and Royal Jellyfish's Venom Crystal as they started dispersing within the boiling water, and the water was getting a golden color.

When the cauldron was already bubbling enough, Valkroion took a vial that was filled with the blood of Sequence 7 Mutated Bugbear, as one of the secondary ingredients was the blood of Sequence 7 Extraordinary Creatures, and Valkorion had something even better.

Blood of Mutated Sequence 7 Extraordinary Creature, which would boost the power of the Potion, and according to the books, if the blood of Mutated Sequence 7 Extraordinary Creature was used as Supplementary Potion Ingredient, it would boost up the power of the Potion, and Beyonder may obtain some benefits from it.

As they said, the better the resources, the better the result was.

When the blood of the Mutated Sequence 7 Extraordinary Creature came into contact with the mildly golden liquid within the cauldron, there was a slight reaction from the brew, as the cauldron started shaking slightly because the liquid was bubbling even more and Valkorion could sense some sort of aura radiating from the liquid.

He let the liquid brew for some time, approximately twenty minutes, before he proceeded to add the remaining ingredients, mostly Spiritron-infused Nirn Root and some other minor things that he crushed in the mortar to the paste.

When he added the paste into the liquid, it was the last step, as right now, he was just waiting for the Potion to be finished once the amount of liquid was lowered by around 70% when it was entirely reduced.

The final product would be a highly concentrated thick liquid that was the Beyonder Potion.

He was rather satisfied with himself when he saw the result of his efforts when the Sequence 6 Beast Knight Potion was finished, and the only thing that remained in the cauldron was a brownish-gold-colored liquid that was bubbling above the fire.

When it was finished, Valkorion carefully poured the liquid into the bottle he had prepared for the Potion. Then, he sealed the potion lid and stored the Sequence 6 Beast Knight Potion within the Dimensional Bag.

It would remain within his Dimensional Bag until he would have the need for the Potion.

Now that he had some time to rest, Valkorion decided that he would spend some time within the library and read some books after making some to eat.

Two Months Later, Cartharys, Valyrian Freehold, Essos

Two months have passed rather fast since the moment Valkorion concocted the PSequnece 6 Beast Knigth Potion. During these two months, not a lot has changed because he was forced to remain mostly at home as he was still waiting for the Apostle of "Him" to find him at the Cartharys.

Due to that, he only rarely left the city to venture into the Painted Mountains to hunt for some monster ingredients and make some pocket change money while he waited for the news from the Clan Ferros about the auction news.

On a concurrent note, he was very often talking with Camille Ferros through the Glass Candless.

Because both of them were using very high-grade versions of the Glass Candle, they could also see each other, as the Glass Candles of this kind of quality also functioned as "video-caller".

Another thing that he had been doing for these past two months was training every single day until he was dead tired of the art of swordsmanship. It was rather a pleasant surprise when he noticed that his swordsmanship had already increased to the Adept-ranked mastery, which meant that he was among the more elite swordsmen in the world.

In fact, Valkorion was rather sure that if he continued this training regime for around a year, he would have a problem reaching the Expert-level Proficiency in the Juyo Sword Style; he would be considered a really expert swordsman in the world.

Expert-level proficiency in swordsmanship and any sword style was the barrier that was separating the common swordsmen from the Elite Ones. Valkorion even heard that the members of the House Dayne are disinherited from their House if they can't reach Expert-Level Proficiency in swordsmanship within five years after they started training.

He would have also spent some time training in the Hakuda, but unfortunately, it seemed that his progress was much slower in the Hakuda than in his swordsmanship, and he would have preferred to have a sparring partner when it came to training in the Hakuda.

Aside from the training, he also spent a lot of time reading in the library, as it was one of his long-term goals since being reborn in this world, to absorb as much information as possible.

From the moment he learned that his meta-knowledge was virtually useless, Valkroion was focused on his own education as much as possible and reading practically everything within the library of the manor that once belonged to the House Tenebraenys.

Not to mention, for Valkorion reading books and learning were rather methods of relaxation than something arduous and challenging. During the past two months, there were no visits from anyone even remotely connected to the Temple of the Lord of Light, but Valkorion wasn't that surprising.

He knew that it would take some time, and in fact, he wasn't hurrying anywhere right now, as he came to appreciate his current life. Prior to this, he was spending most, if not all, of his time within the Painted Mountains, basically hunting for the monsters and Extraordinary Creatures to make money.

Now, he had more time to relax, which was certainly something that he appreciated.

Chapter 42 – The Gift
Sometimes, having some time off the rest was a very welcomed one, even though right now, the time of the rest was longer than he would have initially appreciated, but nevertheless, Valkorion didn't really care much about it as he went with the flow of things.

After spending most of the day in training, he was rather tired physically and mentally, which caused Valkorion to often leave early for rest. Today was no exception, as he went to sleep after a whole day of rigorous training.

Even though the training was often much less physically and mentally taxing compared to adventuring within the Paninted Mountains and fighting against the hordes of monsters and Extraordinary Creatures, it was still a lot.

And he rarely got to rest, also mainly because he didn't want to as he was used to the working routine and often going to the Painted Mountains hunting for the goblinoids and the monsters.

Not to mention, he also liked being an adventurer rather a lot. It was a fun thing for him, and he got to make a decent amount of money, depending on the number of creatures that he killed when he was out.

Though he was rather certain that he didn't want to be an entrepreneur for his whole life because it would be... disappointing. Even though he certainly liked the profession for the time being, it was certainly not something that he wished to do for the rest of his life.

He wanted to have a rather high lifestyle, and that was something that the lifestyle of an adventurer couldn't really support. Less is being said about advancing to the higher sequences as Beoynder, which would be even more impossible to support with Beyonder's income.

However, if he changed his target to the Extraordinary Creatures, it would be a very different situation, but that would also be far more dangerous than right now.

As he closed his eyes, Valkorion felt a weird feeling, enveloping him as the sole thing that remained was nothing more than darkness.

***

???

It was the wonderous place, in a place where directions didn't matter, where past, present, or even the future could intersect, within the realm of the infinite knowledge, information, and illusions were spiritually gathered and compressed into a strange sea.

Somewhere, above the realms of possible and impossible, there was an enormous airborne cube floating within. It was just floating in the realm, being carried by the winds of sheer existence as it shone with bright white color as its light illuminated the way.

Inside the cube, however, was an enormous city, one capable of housing thousands upon thousands of subjects. All around the city, there were countless doors leading to the unknown, functioning as portals that could lead to anywhere as long as they were opened with the right key.

Overseeing the entire city was an ancient palace with a vast dome supported by towering stone pillars that stood above the boundless gray fog that was all around this place. The towering stone pillars looked grand and lofty, all of them were being inscribed with some runes, language long forgotten to the annals of history.

In the center of the palace, that was the smaller dome that was also supported by the same towering stone pillars.

In the middle of the dome, there was a long bronze table, and chairs with ancient patterns, each numbered, starting with I. and ending with X. as they were all surrounding the bronze table from both sides.

The biggest chair was the one that was at the end of the table, clearly it was bigger than the rest and it was also more ornamental. It looked more like a throne instead of a chair, with its decorations and several runes that were engraved on it.

"Damm... my head hurts..."

The man who was sitting on the largest of the chair suddenly grasped his forehead in pain as he awakened in entire unfamiliar environment for him. The last thing that Valkorion remembered was going to sleep in his manor within Cartharys and then he woke up here.

Not to mention, his whole body was hurting like hell, and he felt like his head was kicked by a dragon from the amount of pain and shaking he felt; it was a rather weird feeling, he had to admit, but it was extremely uncomfortable.

All around him, the only thing that he could see was the needless gray fog that was enveloping everything within his vicinity. As he looked around, the environment became rather familiar to him because it was reminiscing him of the Sefirot from the Lord of the Mysteries novel, the Sefirah Castle, but not entirely.

The city below the palace certainly wasn't part of the Sefirah Castle, but Valkorion was still suspecting that this was some kind of Sefirot. Though what was weird, if this was indeed Sefirot, then the question why it awakened just now was becoming more and more prominent.

It was something bugging him rather a lot because, if he remembered correctly, within the Novel Lord of the Mysteries, the main character obtained the Sefirot right from the start of the novel or so.

Yet, Valkrioon had been in this world for seventeen years or so, and he had obtained the Sefirot just now, which was weird. Another thing was the fact if he had Sefirot with him, then there was some possibility of him being the backup plan for the resurrection of the Great Old One, the ones that stood above the Sequences.

As he thought it over, that was rather a horrible idea, but at the same time, he also found it rather unlikely because if it was the case, then he would have the connection to the Sefirot right from the start if he was reincarnated by some being that existed out of the boundaries of time and space.

Right now, he was trying to be rather optimistic and was working with the idea that the Sefirot somehow bonded with him right now. Logically speaking, it should be possible, and at the same time, he was also aware that if he was really some backup plan for the Great Old One or Outer God, then there was nothing that he could do with it right now.

Fate was rather bitch.

Nevertheless, knew that there was a way of dealing with it if the main character of the Lord of the Mysteries could do it and he was being prepared by the previous Lord of the Mysteries and one of the most powerful entities in that verse as his vessel for resurrection.

Valkorion, for the time being, decided to go with the flow and focus on the positives instead of the negatives.

"This place has rather uncanny resemblance to the Sefirah Castle, but down below the palace there is a whole city situated down there... so this won't be the Sefirah Castle for sure... but I got some feeling that I already saw this panorama somewhere."

Valkorion muttered as he observed the panorama of the Sefirot because he had some very strong feeling of familiarity toward this place as he had already seen it somewhere. As he looked around the seats, it was clear that he could basically copy what Klein did in the novel and create his very own Beyonder Organization.

Chapter 43 – Late Visitor
That would certainly be helpful a lot.

Depending on whom he would be able to draw to here.

This would certainly be a boon to him, though if he wanted to successfully carry out this plan, he needed to cosplay as an ancient entity. As he was pondering over it, it would be rather foolish not to do it, considering that he had the tools to achieve it.

He also had enough meta-knowledge about the things, so theoretically speaking, he was in a way better position than Klein Moretti when he first started the Tarot Club. Having an entire Secret Organization behind him would certainly be a great boon for him in the long run.

He would need to prepare thoroughly for that because if this thing, this Sefirot, was capable of pulling people to it across space and time, as the Sefirah Castle could do, then Valkrion would decide to make use of it.

After some preparation, he could do it, as it wouldn't be anything that hard.

He just needed to prepare better, because he wouldn't really know whom he would draw into the meeting. It would be highly possible that he may draw into the meeting some High Sequence Beyonders, the Demigods.

If he had not been careful, they would have been able to see through his play, but he wasn't that sure because there was still the possibility of the Grey Fog covering his true identity. He would need to carry out a few more experiments with the Grey Fog that was covering the entire city and the whole of Sefirot.

For the time being, experimenting with the possible Sefirot was put aside, as he felt that the connection was getting weaker. Most probably whatever the binding process between him and the Sefirot was, it took some kind of toll on his body.

Obviously, this was the first time he was accessing the Sefirot, so he wouldn't be able to remain insensitively within this place and would be forced to leave soon enough. Valkorion knew that with his meager strength, he could access only an almost minuscule amount of abilities of the Sefirot.

Still, he knew that even the minimal capabilities of any Sefirot were basically something akin to a game changer because each Sefirot was the basic requirement for the God to advance to the Great One, becoming a true Cosmic Entity.

Thus, the Sefirots were not simple items or artifacts, and even the bare minimum was more precious than gold to ordinary Beyonders.

Soon enough, he felt that he was being disconnected from the Sefirot, and soon enough, another wave of darkness overtook him.

***

The next day, when Valkorion awakened, he remembered that he was transported to the Sefirot-like place, and today, he could contemplate the matter. Everything that happened within the Sefirot, or something that most probably was the Sefirot, started flooding his mind almost instantly.

It was very tempting for him to make full use of the possible Sefirot right from the start, but a certain degree of cautiousness remained in him because, from a certain point of view, it was still very dangerous.

He was essentially playing with the things that were vastly above him in terms of power, and it was clear that something wasn't right. Valkorion was rather paranoid about it because it was too big of a coincidence for something like Sefirot to be bound to him without any side intention.

Unfortunately, he was too weak to do something about that, and not really using it was also not an option because the thing was already bound to him. For the time being, he decided to be cautious about the thing and experiment with the Sefirot slowly.

Baby steps at a time.

That was the best thing that he could do right now because, with the powerful things, it was always best to be as careful and cautious as possible.

Valkorion was a very cautious person, and he didn't really trust the artifact or whatever it was he never trusted the Astral or Fire Light, as he tended to call the entities that tried to use them while he was trying to use them.

However, he also knew that his choices were limited in this matter.

While he was originally born into one of the best possible backgrounds of that in this world he could have wished for, that one disappeared faster than steam above the pot, and he was left as just a random, nameless person within the Freehold.

Though it could be worse certainly, even though being the bastard son of the Lord Freeholder wasn't actually that bad as the children out of the marriage were not looked down on like the ones in certain parts of the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros, being left alone was much worse.

Even as a bastard of the Lord Freeholder Tenebraenys, he would have access to a large number of opportunities, and if he showcased his talent a bit, then reaching Mid Sequence Beyonder wouldn't be any problem.

The House Tenebraenys would most likely arrange a marriage for him with one of his sisters to bring him back to the fold if he was strong enough and he would be able to live in luxury and opulence, using the resources of the House Tenebraenys to succeed in his goals.

Even succeeding the House as its Patriarch wasn't out of the question because, within the Freehold, some of the Dragonlord Families were even taken over by some bastards of the Lords or not when they managed to kill or otherwise dispose of everyone else.

Now that it wasn't possible, he needed to look in different directions. Of course, there was always the possibility of him leaving the Valyrian Freehold and heading towards the different parts of the world to make a name for himself.

He already pondered over leaving the Freehold for the Golden Empire of Yi Ti or for some of the underground kingdoms of the Dawi. But, he discarded those thoughts because remaining within the Valyrian Freehold was the best thing possible for the time being.

Right now, as the Valyrian Freehold was the center of the Beyonder World for the time being, until the Doom, it would be foolish to leave it. The amount of Extraordinary resources, Sealed Artifacts, Ingredients, and other things that were flooding into the Valyrian Freehold was the highest in the world.

Valkrion knew that even a city such as Cartharys, which was basically a backwater city for the Pure-Blooded Valyrians, was several times more prosperous than any city within the Westeros when it came to the Beyonder Society.

Today was the same day as the other ones, as he spent most of the day training until noon when he noticed that somebody was waiting in front of the gates of the manor, which was the most unusual.

Not many people were visiting him; truth to say, he was rarely being visited by anyone as aside from the Albus Ferros, there were almost zero people visiting his manor. However, when he looked at who was waiting in front of the gates of his manor, he was rather pleasantly surprised to see Ashe there.

She was a bit late, though.

Originally, he predicted that she would visit much sooner.

Chapter 44 - Dinner with Ashe (1)
Nevertheless, he went to the front gates of the manor of the Tenebraenys Family to open the gates for the Ashe. Valkorion was still a debtor to her, as he owed her something for the Healing Potion that she used on him, something that he still repaid her for.

During the last time he was in the merchant district of the Cartharys, he also bought some Healing Potions for a relatively reasonable price, so he planned to give one to Ashe to repay his debt to her.

He always paid his debts; Valkorion hated the feeling of owning something to someone because it could have unforeseen repercussions in the future.

However, in regards to Ashe, he was somewhat at ease because he was aware of the fact that she wouldn't ask for anything in return aside from the Healing Potion. When he looked at Ashe, he noticed that she seemed different; the entire area around Ashe was like the frost that was creeping around the place.

But soon enough, this frosty aura disappeared into nothingness, even faster than it came to existence, as Ashe realized that Valkorion was already coming to her. When Valkorion saw her, he immediately thought that Ashe must have advanced to the next Sequence of her Pathway.

Previously, he didn't really feel the frost aura around Ashe, meaning that something must have changed, and it was clear that she managed to obtain the thing that she searched for within the Painted Mountains.

He knew that Ashe was at least Sequence 6 when he met her, but her strength was most probably at the Low Sequence Beyonder, though right now, his senses were warning him that she was for sure someone very powerful, far more than him right now.

It was clear that she had advanced to the Mid Sequence Beyonder.

"Lady Ashe, what a pleasant surprise..."

Valkorion stated rather happily when he came to open the manor gates for the Ashe, who looked around the place in wonder as her trained eyes scoured the entire area, because, for her, it was clear that this place was something vastly above anything that adventurer could afford.

"I told you that I would come to visit you... though I didn't expect you to be living in the manor like the nobles of the Freehold."

She quietly stated his provocations and whatever Valkorion was playing at in her eyes as she looked at the manor that he was using. It was clear that Valkorion was certainly living above the standards, something that many and many adventures would be jealous to death for.

She was a rather experienced person and veteran Beyonder. She could see that this manor had some sort of defenses, and if she saw correctly, then it was most probably high-level spells, something that powerful Mid Sequence Beyonders or, most probably, High Sequence Beyonders could lay down.

This wasn't the first time she had seen something like this because, in her home, there were many things like this, carefully laid down defenses in the runic spells and wards that were all around the manor.

Ashe already saw a fair share of them back home, so she was able to discern them easily.

'Certainly not an ordinary person... maybe someone from the Dragonlord Families? The wards around here are perhaps even a tad weaker than back at the Tribe laid down by the Saints, so the one who created these defenses was most probably Saints. Though, if he is really someone from the Dragonlord Families, then he wouldn't be living here for his entire life... maybe the son of someone powerful born out of wedlock?'

In Ashe's mind, many thoughts were swirling one after another when she noticed the defenses around Valkorion's manor and also the manor itself.

She saw her fair share of rich people within the Cartharys. The manor of Valkorion, while looking rather modest from the outside, was made from top-quality materials, and she could see the opulence and richness of the thing.

Ashe suspected that Valkorion was most probably someone important, but there were also some things that were not really getting together. She knew that Valkorion was someone who had lived in the Cartharys for his entire life, with a few people who seemed to be his servants before they died.

But nowadays, there were only a few people that remembered such a thing... so she knew that something was behind the scenes.

"Okey, okey... come, I already have prepared the Healing Potion that you gave me the last time."

Valkorion motioned for Ashe to follow him into the manor itself, as he then closed the gates and activated the wards around the manor to the maximum. Ashe looked around the manor as he led her to the drawing room, which only affirmed Ashe's suspicion that Valkorion wasn't a simple adventurer that he was playing at.

Obviously, she was totally unaware that the Valkorion was leading her to the drawing room, which was indeed more opulent than it really should be. Even though this place wasn't used by the Tenebraenys Family at all, it still contained a lot of luxury to accommodate any member of the Tenebraenys Family that would decide to come here.

Something that Valkorion learned to appreciate after he had spent a lot of time at home because it was nice to be living in such an opulent and luxurious manner. In his past life, that would be very far from his social standing and financial capabilities.

"Sit where you like. Do you want something to eat? Note on the side: aside from roasted meat, I can't really make anything."

Vallkorion muttered as he wasn't really a skilled cook, but fortunately enough, he was rich enough to buy something constantly, and he was rather surprised that the Valyrian Freehold wasn't really foreign to the concept of fast foods, even though it was not called that.

There were many vendors that were selling some really fast-made foods and eats in the streets; there were inns where you can order food and take it with you back home, or some richer people could even hire professional chefs to cook for them.

"That's fine."

Ashe herself wasn't really a picky eater like Valkorion was, as he enjoyed fine foods and drinks, something of only high quality. Unfortunately for him, he wasn't really a skilled cook, and aside from roasting meat above the fire, he didn't know how to make anything else at this age.

He was evidently at a loss with this because this age lacked even modern cooking utensils.

"Then I shall bring you something to drink from my personal collection of tea if you would like, and then head toward the kitchen to start roasting the meat. I have a nice piece of the top-tier Iron-Headed Bull."

That was already one of the best pieces of meats out there as the meat of the Iron-Headed Bull was rather pricy. This was one and probably something that he was spending a lot of money on.

He loved good food, and good food cost a lot, so he needed to invest some money into it, aside from buying various teas from the Golden Empire of Yi Ti, which was famous for cultivating the tea and exporting it to all corners of the world.

Chapter 45 - Dinner with Ashe (2)
If he were to name one of the things that he was spending instead of a lot of money on, then it would certainly be food. That was something that he really enjoyed spending money on together with the tea, as he loved tea.

His kitchen was rather simplistic, but the only notable feature was the enormous fireplace that was in the middle of the kitchen, where he put the meat to be roasted, high above the fire as he activated the small rotisserie mechanism.

After he finished the things, he returned back to Ashe; as he took out the tea set that he had in the drawing room and started brewing tea for his host. For this rather special occasion, he chose Long Jun Tea, which was imported from the Island of Nippon, which was located south of the Golden Empire of Yi Ti.

It was rather a pricy brand because even a few grams of the tea cost several tens of Gold Dragon Coins. Fortunately enough, the connections of the Clan Ferros spanned through the majority of the known world, so it wasn't hard to have his steady supply of tea.

"You have a nice home... living far above the standards of the average adventurer..."

She said quietly as she observed Valkorion brewing the pot of tea for them. While this wasn't the first time she had visited the home of someone rich, it was the first time she had visited the mansion of the Lord Freeholder so Valkorion could understand.

Valkorion new that the Dragonlord Families loved flaunting their wealth too much, sometimes it was to the extreme; if not, then this forsaken manor, would be far more luxurious than the castles of various Lords of the Westeros or those of the Free Cities of Essos.

"Thank you very much for that..."

He just thanked her for the compliment, even though he wasn't really sure if it was a compliment, but whatever. He knew that it might not be really the best idea, but he was relatively confident in her personality and that she wouldn't be saying anything about his manor.

He was relatively confident that Ashe Avarosan was a trustworthy person, that one he was rather sure about. Soon enough, he finished the tea brewing process as he passed Ashe one of the tea cups while he served the other one for himself.

"This is one of my favorite subspecies of the Nipponese Green Tea, Long Jun, while the name is in the Yi Ti as it was originally brought by the Nipponese merchants from the Golden Empire of Yi Ti and crossbred with the local varieties..."

Valkorion explained the origins of the Long Jun tea that he had, as it was one of his most prized possessions. He was rather proud of his tea collection, which was constantly expanding at a steady tempo.

"And on a side note, you need to enjoy the tea slowly... also, the food will be finished in around forty minutes..."

The meat of the Iron-Headed Bull would take some time to cook, but as he was doing the meat above the open fire on the rotisserie, it would be done faster than usual. Nothing tasted better than beef roasted above the open fire; it was one of the heavenly pleasures that the Gods gave to man.

"So, I see that on your trip to Green Peak or whatever you went, you obtained a lot."

Valkorion muttered as he observed Ashe, who indeed should have obtained a lot from the journey to the Painted Mountains, though he was sure that he would have obtained more from the trip if they were talking about the gains.

"Someone has sharp eyes..."

She muttered while drinking the cup of tea that her host made for her.

At first, she was somewhat surprised that Valkorion was able to tell that she had advanced to the Mid Sequence because she was aware that the man was only at Sequence 7 and didn't even have a Spiritual Vision, which meant that his Beyonder Path was one of the late bloomers or ones that were more focused on the close combat from the start.

This correlates with her initial observations of the Valkorion as she saw him fighting several times, especially during the time they spent together in the Painted Mountains, so she was rather well acquainted with his capabilities.

'Bloodline Lineage Abiliy...'

She could guess that Valkorion had some sort of Bloodline Lineage Ability... she knew that only those of the noblest and most powerful Bloodlines had them and were very well knowledgeable about them.

Why not if she had them as well...

For the next few tens of minutes, they spent talking, mainly about various types of Extraordinary Creatures and Monsters living within the Painted Monsters, as that was something that they had in very common.

Valkorion knew that Ashe wasn't native neither to Essos or Westeros, that much was sure; he suspected that she was originally from a different continent, and most probably, this content wasn't in the canon of A Song of Ice and Fire, which was what his intuition was telling him.

He found that when he realized how much she was dodging around the topic of her homeland, because her appearance while similar to the Valyrians due to her silverish hair, it was clear that she had nothing to do with the Valyrians.

Soon enough, as they were talking, the meat from the Iron-Headed Bull was finished, and Valkorion swiftly disappeared to the kitchen and served them the meat from the Iron-Headed Bull.

The meat was splendidly done, medium rare as it should be, as everything else was considered heresy when it come to making high-quality beef.

While Ashe wasn't much talker, and sometimes it was very hard to get read on her, as she remained stoic and expressionless most of the time, Valkorion had much interaction with her, and he could tell some signs when she started getting more relaxed or so...

"That's rather good..."

As they were eating, Valkorion noticed something that was out of her character too much when she was munching on a large piece of the meat from the Iron-Headed Bull.

It seemed that Ashe was a "foodie", judging by the expression she made when she bit into the piece of roasted meat; as her stoic and serene facade cracked for a moment as she devoured everything in front of her with lightning speed.

After they finished eating, Valkorion started cleaning plates and things, as they ate everything, though most of the meat was eaten by Ashe. Even though she was slim and petite, she had an even larger appetite than his own.

It was rather surprising...

"Are you preparing to leave the Cartharys before the monsters arrive or not?"

Valkorion was surprised when he heard her question, but not actually that much, as he knew that there were many adventures that would be leaving before the final offensive of the goblinoids down on the Valyrian Freehold.

He could partially understand the sentiment of the people, because he was aware that not many adventures would actually remain here for the moment when tthe goblinoids from the Paiinted Moutnaisn would attack.

The majority of the adventurers who were in the Cartharys were here only for a short period of time. Basically, they would flee the city the moment when the goblinoids would start marching and attacking en masse.
