• The site has now migrated to Xenforo 2. If you see any issues with the forum operation, please post them in the feedback thread.
  • Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com. Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
  • Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
  • Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
  • The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.

The "... 2 3 4" part is invisible until you move the mouse over the thread.
I made them always visible on the Light Responsive (QQ default) style, I'll let others try it out and see how they like it.

Would it be possible to get a version of 'Blackened-Purple' for wide-screens? Like the Responsive series or Xenforo Default.

I like the scheme of Blackened-Purple, but the fact is that it's only using a little more than half my screen and that bugs me at times.

I don't feel that making an entire style just to adjust width is necessary. If another stylist wishes to do so they can of course do it.

If you really want the forum to be wider, on a style other than responsive (they have some odd interactions), you can use stylish (chrome / firefox) and this userscript.

Didn't know that that existed. Using it now.

Thanks.

The text input for the search box while using Flexile Dark is white text on a white background. Impossible to read.

The text and dropdown boxes in the preferences dialog, while using Flexile Dark, is dark grey text on a dark grey-ish background. Very difficult to read.

Fix in progress, just waiting for alethiophile to get back to me in the staff forum. When I made the change in the xenforo admin panel, it gave me a bunch of database errors so I am waiting for this problem to get resolved so I can make the neccesary errors. I suggest switching to the Dark Responsive (Green) style in the meantime.

Threadmark titles on the Dark Responsive (Green) theme have medium grey text on a light grey background, making them very difficult to read.

These should be fixed.

Any chance of getting a link to the dice lookup page up top next to the irc or tag cloud links?

Using Dark Responsive High Contrast, in case its only this theme that is missing it

I've added one to High Contrast only as a test. I'll leave it up to alethiophile or tehelgee whether they be added to all active styles.

Styles > Templates > navigation
Code:
<!-- Dice rolls link -->
<li class="navTab PopupClosed"><a href="http://forum.questionablequesting.com/dice/" class="navLink">Dice Rolls</a></li>

I'm leery of adding links to the templates in general, just because you have to then keep the link synced across every style currently active. I haven't yet found a way to source a single point in every style, though I've not spent that much time looking either. It goes on the list of "things to do when I have some time".

Anyone else having issues with dice on Flexile Dark?
All I get are blue boxes, no numbers.

Looks like this:

I'm not seeing any dice issues with any of the other themes.

I can't believe no-one has brought this up by now.

When browsing in light responsive, clicking on a spoiler changes its colour to a shade of green that is very difficult to read against its background.

If someone could do whatever is necessary to make those clicked-on spoilers legible again, I would be most grateful.

You should see the issue if you switch to light responsive and try to read the following spoiler when opened.

Huh, I'll add a spoiler.

Do you mean the button when you hover the mouse over it?

Possibly that also, but I mostly post from my phone, on which the button one clicks to reveal a spoiler is rendered basically invisible after doing so until one clicks something else.

It shows fine for me on my android using Chrome.

Just having logged into my computer, I can confirm that the colour I am talking about is indeed the one that crops up when you mouse over it.

I use an iphone 4, which I guess must have a different set of conventions as to which touchscreen actions correspond to which mouse actions or something.

The fact that it only really shows up as an issue on a percentage of phones would account for why no-one has brought it up before, I guess.

In any event, if that colour could be changed to a more readable shade of green, I would highly appreciate it.
