So Artemas can only make fire with his hands? He'll go look for a bunch of newspapers to curl into balls and throw flaming projectiles at the eye!

Surely there must be some lying around in a broken newspaper bin somewhere. Or a not-broken one with a coin slot.

Very nearly did a literal head desk when I read this... then realized it might damage my keyboard and decided not to.

Cain claps his hands together and runs around tagging everyone before diving back into cover, having given everyone Sight. The beast takes note of his movements and starts to spin, building up speed... Right as a burning newspaper thrown by Artemas gets hit and carried by a rock thrown by Jormund smashes it in the cornea. And with that the fight seems... Over. The beast floats there for a moment before cracking apart in multiple places, parts flying off in various directions but ultimately failing to harm anything. With one final burst of light so brilliant it blinds everyone, the monster is gone... And in its place a pile of dust and a card, detailed with a picture of it and the words The Wheel on it.

The giant man steps forth, talking on a phone, and looks around. He then calmly walks towards you all and pats you all on the back, gingerly avoiding anywhere that might be bruised. That done, he strides back to the van and opens the door on the back, motioning for you all to get in.
"Do not worry about the evidence. Forensics will be here in ten minutes to do their job. We must head back. Talk to the Snake Mage there if you need healing." He points to the recruit from before who'd run up to Artemas earlier. "Oh. And call me Grand Officer Leopold Armstrong. Virgo Mage."

So do you want to go in the van or do you want to stick around a bit and investigate on your own?

OoC: We're too new to try pushing our luck anywhere really. Also "The Wheel" probably means we're dealing with the arcana... including the minor ones. Joy.
