The chakra control trait has only progressed when we overwhelmingly focus on chakra control. We're just finishing that matter up, then doing an even distribution to finish up the other trait, and then the whole world of leveling opens up for us to explore with two traits.
 
I like putting one or two hints or shinies in a chapter. Near the top of this one for example, there was Hyuga Ko out buying cinnamon buns for Hinata's mom.

On the traits, indeed, they are progressed by focusing effort on them- and thus improving by leaps and bounds in particular things.

The other generalist trait is an exception. It's a bit harder to improve; you have to simultaneously make good progress in multiple skills in a short time, ie, you need a few good rolls too.

You'd find a rusty garden shovel out in your lawn and then take it.

After that you would try to sneak inside your house to get the drop on the intruders. When you first see them, you would've seen some dude rummaging through your dad's secret booze cabinet- and maybe attempt to attack him. I'd have provided a vote for it even. Attack the stranger! It would end with you knocked on your ass, and your parents a bit shocked.

There was an option to meet your parents and interact more with them even earlier by the way, if you voted to stay home at the end of chapter nine. Sasuke's birth would've been just background news in that case.

Uchiha Trio breaking something (presumably valuable), anti-bullying ranger, meeting the parents early (although some people thought it was Obito visiting), overhearing Kakashi talk to Obito through the cenotaph, and... *something*.

I have to admit, I am curious about that last option. Can you tell us about it now or is it something that might still happen?

It's been talked about before, but I really think it's amazing how this is the nail threatening to completely derail canon.

Depending on how things work out with The Hunt interludes, it's possible that Hibiki has already butterflied away the Uchiha Massacre, even the Nine-Tails Attack happens. In canon, many people in Konoha suspected Uchiha involvement (which is technically accurate) because because Madara had previously fought Hashirama by controlling the Nine-Tails. Here though?

Someone capable of ambushing a veteran jonin Hyuga with the Byakugan active (!) has absconded with a Sharingan (!!).

Either of those alone would be worthy of consideration, but both at the same time? As long as Minato or Tsume survives to report what happened, there is a perfect scapegoat for the attack. I eagerly await Fugaku's reaction to finding out that there might be a hostile shinobi out there with a Sharingan.

All because a 4-year old brat who loves napping didn't want his beloved nii-san to have an empty grave. I love it.

Oh! Bonus points if Zetsu uses the Mokuton (!!!) while fighting against Minato. Suddenly there's a conspiracy running around with the two most powerful kekkei genkai of Konoha. And who better to investigate such a thing than the incomparable genius that is the Snake Sannin? Epsilon, is it possible to prevent Orochimaru's defection or is that pretty much set in stone unless he becomes Hokage? He'd be an interesting sensei, as long as he refrained from stealing eyes.

That last option would result in a random roll. Good things can happen if you roll well. A very bad roll on the other hand will fuck you up. Konoha has its dangers.

You can meet Orochimaru once or twice before he defects, but yes, he can't be stopped from defecting at this point.

Also was thinking of possible ways to stop the massacre. I though of one way but to do it we have to become very close with Itachi and Shisui and become Anbu's with them. this way we get into the whole Uchiha coup/massacre situation. The 3rd Hokage, Itachi and Shisui we're looking for way's to stop it from turning into violence. but they need to find a appease the uchiha's honor, since they've been kinda oppressed over the years. We can maybe solve this by somehow getting the idea of Itachi being the next hokage candidate (after Minoto die's).

Anyway, now that we've got improved control, I think we should concentrate on growing our reserves, because high control and high capacity is a great combo. That means a focus on physical and mental stats.

Itachi and Orochimaru are both manipulative, shisui and jiraiya died from people they trusted or believed in. hope this doesn't mean we lose of future lover/crush and family lol
