Oh lol I love this arm already. You blink and rub your eyes.
Correct arm now. Ending at the right place despite... yeah, despite that the chained up corpse still has both elbows of its own.
"Well, this idea just went from okay-ish to probably terrible, but all right then." you mutter to yourself.
Then you jam the arm to your partially healed stump.
... You don't even need to do much after that, as though the limb was just waiting for the opportunity. It's excruciatingly painful, but it seems to be driving tendrils back in your flesh every bit as much as you're streaming real and fake chakra coils into it. The pain is joined by a sensation of befuddlement.
Then that's replaced with the urge to go find the nearest thing, and kill it.
"Listen. I am way ahead of you there." you say aloud. "Drop in the bucket, buddy."
The mental pressure redoubles, tendrils of force and will seeming to sink into your brain.
You mentally set them on fire. Which. It... seems to work,
"But why? Isn't Tobi a good boy?"Upon meeting Tobi once more:
*murderarm twitches*
"He says he doesn't like you"
"I don't like you either"
*Tobi stands there, confused as all get out*
I'd say more like The One Ring, which always fits. Unless it doesn't want to.
If it's a battle inside the mind, shouldn't it go better when the mind is set right? Which, I believe calls for a round of "I-told-you-so"s. If Mio didn't aggravate Dummy (like, for example, finding a neat little hidden hole to sleep in), he wouldn't be chasing her. And if she was well-slept, coercing the Arm into submission would have been easier.I can't help but feel the arm would be more easily handled with Mio well fed.
It is a trait of Uchia geniuses. Just look at Itachi's eye bags.I'm afraid that, as she is now, Mio would need to deal with the Arm and Dummy before she gets a chance to have any peaceful shut-eye. Otherwise she risks getting posessed and/or eaten in her sleep. Demon Queen Mio has all chances to become the Queen of Insomnia.
Leaving the parasite that has proven itself willing and able to contaminate our minds to gather its strength and worm itself in is a frankly stupid idea.Man, I'm torn between the two current leading options. Convince me, people! [/imperious look]
Actually, I voted for the chakra arm. And then argued for it extensively. The reason why I'm not fully convinced that we need to beat the arm into submission above all else just yet is because Mio actually seems to have the "keep it from taking over" part pretty well in hand for the moment.Leaving the parasite that has proven itself willing and able to contaminate our minds to gather its strength and worm itself in is a frankly stupid idea.
You people voted to attach the thing to Mio, at least have the decency to make sure it does not eat her from the inside.
It tried and it failed, Mio is much stronger than it.Leaving the parasite that has proven itself willing and able to contaminate our minds to gather its strength and worm itself in is a frankly stupid idea.

Just about every story I've ever read has had the mind's defenses at their weakest when asleep.[X] You need to find better shelter than tree branches and nothing.
We need sleep the most. Dummy is causing us to lose too much if he's chasing us for days at a time and mentally fighting off the arm has to take concentration which will be shot by lack of sleep.
