Pretty sure we're just a rather cynical little girl, who's surprisingly good enough at justifying her own opinions and who consciously acts out to deal with her frustration and repression.

She's still an awesome character, but I don't think her actual personality has much overlap with the Evil that is Dio or the girl filled with a desire to understand and befriend everyone she encounters, even if she has to beat them down first.
