Fates is the worst Fire Emblem game by a country mile and I laugh at people who try to tell me that Awakening is worse for whatever asinine reason they've come up with. Nowhere else in the series is there a whole category of characters thrown in for no reason except to bring back a popular game mechanic from a previous entry. You could cut every child character out of Fates and lose nothing of any value, in fact you'd deprive all of the parent characters of a Bad Parenting moment by not having them stuff their kids in a pocket dimension and raised in accelerated time for 15-16 years.

I plan on playing all the FEs I have, including 4 and 5. (That's a brand-new translation on 5, btw.)




...Speaking of classic SNES titles that never received official translations, we can finally scratch the biggest one off the list: Seiken Densetsu 3. It's now officially Trials of Mana and, more importantly, out now as part of the English version of Collection of Mana (which JP has had for two years). It's also getting a multiplat 3D remake next year (PS4, Switch, PC).
 
To share impressions from me, someone who didn't follow FFVII remake, I looked at her in latest trailer and honestly to Gd can't see problem with Tifa tits. They are still very big and supported by what appears to be a sports bra of sort that I saw Female MMA are wearing. I like her updated design. That black bits might be ones that trick our brain into thinking that size was reduced but IMHO they didn't change her bust size, I think they were same size in Advent Children.. And she still bare her midriff and this time she shows these nice abs. Legs might be little to thin, but again black Zettai Ryouiki might be what visually slim them.


So overall. I like Tifa design and have no problem with it, and people should stop seeing her new design trough nostalgia glasses filled with images of years worth of hentai. Look how a real big tits look on a real woman.

Aw man, the lame edgy knockoff character beat out the original. This is indeed a sad day. I guess he got the folks who think dull and broody = cool and/or hot vote.

Is it bad that the only time I ended up really liking Killia was during his brief interactions with Priere? That's the only time I felt like there was any actual heart and I'm not sure how much of that is me imagining things because I like Priere.

Probably more because it's one of the rare time Overlord Priere talked this much about herself.
 
Ah shame, Disgaea 2 was the first game I really played in the series, finished it fully too compared to D1 which I have had stuck a footstep before the final battle for ages now... haven't got any consoles, so these are the only games I played so far.. hope they bring out more games on steam at some point. I don't wanna play D5 before 3 and 4.
