I think we fed Ack up with Wyvern for a day or two with the multiple small rewrites we had Ack making to the Armsmaster confrontation scene.

Nah, I was just on the comp for an hour or so when I edited my vote and won't get back to it for about 20 hours or so. And as I said before, I refuse to edit on my phone. It's annoying enough just typing up a post like this one.

Tarrangar,

There are some problems with your vote.

First, there needs to be a space between the story name, the dash, and the number of votes. Look at Lord Ultimus' vote, immediately above yours, for examples.

Second, the 'X' and the 'W' in the vote for Wyvern need to be capitalized.

What can I say? MirrorVerse, NSW, and Really Bad End are the only three of Ack's fics to enter actual Do Not Want territory for me. The others I either like enough to vote for, like enough to let other people's votes bring it into rotation, or am ambivalent about.


But any time I can encourage somebody not to vote for one of those three I will.

Please take note, tarrangar, and don't listen to Snake/Eater.

I can understand Mirrorverse not being your cup of tea, and I'm right there with you on Really Bad End, but I'm curious -- what squicks you out so much about NSW? It's one of the more upbeat of his NSFW fics.

Yeah it also has probably one of the happiest Taylors in a fic (except for one of the Taylor's whose Annette is still alive like in Game On which also butterflies away the bullying)

It has negative values of plot.

I understand that this is a selling point to some people, but I prefer for there to actually be a plot in my porn.

Yeah but it also has a happy Taylor who isn't suffering, has a non-PTSD traumatized boyfriend (and girlfriend/best friend and others) and has cool powers (she made Lungs BALLS explode) yeah its only getting a plot NOW but it IS a lighthearted romp after all its good for "detoxing" after some darker stuff.
