Popping in from Spacebattles for the vote.
Welcome to QQ. Things are MUCH calmer over here compared to SB.

If you need proof, just compare the Hostage Situation (3 chapters in) thread on QQ (4 pages) and SB (28 pages), lol.

Also, they don't ban people here for implying a 17 year old character may have kissed someone. Because everyone knows that never happens in real life.*

*I actually saw a PHO interlude with a crass comment about one of the Wards, that in-story got the person banned for a month. SB then banned the author for a month for the same comment, lol.

[If you want to know which of these stories is NSFW, check the first post of the thread..]

I'm actually going to tip Wyvern, then Trump Card, then I, Panacea, then maybe War Games.
Wyvern comes in with fine style, but Trump Card is indeed close behind. Also in the 500 range are Alea Iacta Est (second time round since its first official post), I, Panacea, Really Bad End, NSW, and War Games. It's anyone's guess as to which one gets in after Trump Card.

Anyway, thanks again for voting, and I hope you enjoy reading the stories as much as I enjoy writing them.

For anyone who hasn't voted on this thread before, the voting rules go as follows:

1) UP TO six votes. I will not count anything extra, and a write-in will likely be ignored (if I want to write a different story, I will, but at my own discretion). Suggestions are welcome, but I am under no obligation to carry them out. And just remember, the more stories I am writing, the longer it will take for your favourites to roll back around.
2) First vote is worth six points, second is worth five, and so on.
3) You can't vote twice on the same story. First vote is the only one that counts. QQbot will count the last vote and ignore previous ones.
4) If I say "Voting is CLOSED", then this post comes up, with "Voting is OPEN" at the bottom, then you can vote again.
5) If I say "Voting will continue", it's still the same voting period. Voting has not restarted. You can not vote a second time.

Vote format looks like this:

[X] Alea Iacta Est - 6
[X] I, Panacea - 5
[X] Security! - 4
[X] Recoil - 3
[X] Trump Card - 2
[X] NSW - 1

Specifically: SQUARE brackets around an X, one space, and please spell at least the first word of the name of the story properly. Number of voting points comes last. Please try to format your vote properly, so as not to confuse the vote counter.

Thank you.

Voting is OPEN.

Oh, and I don't think you've threadmarked that vote count yet - the latest in the threadmarks is "Vote 60: One More Trigger".

Not anymore it isn't! ;)

The tracking spreadsheet has been updated with Vote 61, with projections now based on an average of the last four votes.

Currently Trump Card is in the lead, and looking to gain around 119 votes this round to win the next one in the mid-700s. But coming up fast is Alea Iacta Est, making 126 votes a round and a shoe-in to win Vote 63. Then we've got I, Panacea chugging along at 84 votes a round to win Vote 64, and newcomer War Games making a respectable 37 votes a round to finally score its first win in Vote 65.

After that, though, up-and-coming crowd favorite Wyvern is climbing back to the top after its first win at a blistering 169 votes a round -- not as fast as its peak of 193, but still faster than anything else has ever managed before. Odds are good it'll break the 800-vote threshold to win Vote 66. Then we have our old friend Recoil cruising along at 108 votes a round, following Wyvern up above the 800 line to win Vote 67.

Things get risque after that, as the long-running smutfic NSW (and if you don't know what that stands for, kids, ask your parents) finally climbs back on top of the pile in Vote 68. From there it looks to be Security! in Vote 69, and then Trump Card stands a good chance of breaking the 900-vote line in Vote 70, while Alea Iacta Est may well be the first to hit 1,000 in Vote 71.

As always, these projections are subject to change as more votes come in and people shift their voting patterns. The further out you look the less accurate it's likely to be.

And remember, folks -- every time you vote for Meet the Heberts, Andrea takes off another piece of clothing! :D
