AI is usually wrong when you're asking it for facts.
I noticed Microsoft servers shitting the bed yesterday and not letting me log in.Huh, had a bit of trouble with it (and according to thst Google results collector AI it can't), I'll give it another try.
Jst nevre mkae mistayke,s, lkie me.Do we actually have 60 seconds to ninja edit a post? Or is the time instead measured by the minute changing? Because I've had times where I realize that I need to correct a typo immediately after posting and do so, but don't manage to make the timeframe.
Imagine developers adding ability to use eggplant and sweat emojis but removing the ability to alter post-edit timeframe alteration and patting themselves on the back for a job well done.
What exactly is your definition of properly here? Because it seems to work for me?
It only searches within your current subforum, instead of the whole site. What exactly is your definition of properly here? Because it seems to work for me?
That is the intended XF2 behavior, SB works the same way. The XF1 behavior is not planned to be restored, and is likely impossible to anyway. It only searches within your current subforum, instead of the whole site.
If you want all results across the site for a given tag, use the Advanced Search function and enter the tag(s) you're after. It only searches within your current subforum, instead of the whole site.

I've been going to the front page and doing basic title searches, since that includes tags anyway. If you want all results across the site for a given tag, use the Advanced Search function and enter the tag(s) you're after.
Either behaviour is a perfectly reasonable default. If I click on the 'Worm' tag while reading a Worm fic, I presumably want more Worm fics, not Worm quests, or discussions of Worm canon, or threads about managing worms in your garden.
