The site has now migrated to Xenforo 2. If you see any issues with the forum operation, please post them in the feedback thread.
Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.
What is funnier is that the term 香 is also often used when a pretty girl reveals that she is actually a boy in disguise; with the meme phrase "兄弟,你好香", which is supposed to mean the poster of that message thinks the girl being a boy makes her more attractive
Anyway, maybe that's why people in our world spawn without the consciousness that they are in a simulation, but it seems like this only mitigates a small fraction of excessive human behavior
It feels like in stories where you isekai collectively into a game (or "if you die in the game, you die in real life") on mass, like if everyone in the world enters a game, it turns out the NPCs/otherworld population aren't the most hateful, and it seems like no matter how you write, it's actually other gamers/players who are the ones who deserve to die the most,
"We've only known each other for fifteen minutes and you've already kissed me! And it's the kind with the tongue! Do you think I'm some casual, loose woman you can kiss without consequence? Get back here and let me kiss you back, damn it!"
So female xianxia novels and male xianxia novels seem to be on opposite spectrums; male ones tend to be 'if anyone offends me, I kill them', 'kill the young, come the old', and 'in the immortal world, there are only ants, fellow daoists, and seniors', while female is 'perhaps I should compromise with this hot guy', 'will they, won't they', 'I have so many jealous half-sisters and jealous stepmothers'
This Zam isekaied as an otome villainess; she is the true princess of the empire, but she was lost when she was just born, replaced by the now deceased empress' jealous handmaid's (who was also sleeping with the consort-emperor at the time and is his childhood friend) infant daughter, but this Zam doesn't want to follow the script and duel with the fake princess because she's also a reincarnated golden immortal
I read this one story where it was like MC relies on three system given spouses to get stronger, and then I realized this is like taking the wife collecting gacha mobile game premises but forcing it into a story
Within this forest of concrete and glass, the circle of life is no longer that of predator and prey, but that of a simp buying breakfast for his goddess and her boyfriend
When it's a hot summer, and you order delivery from three different places, and three different topless delivery boys with eight-pack abs show up on your doorstep, and your neighbors see everything
Makes me prefer the stories where players can't resurrect more than the ones where they have unlimited life
