Interesting. I'm not doing a close analysis to see if anything is illegal with any plan right now. But I see a few good consensus here and there. Everyone seems to be happy with the influences, and with the Spoiled Rich decision (even if you won't commit to eating her in the future) and so on.

The only thing that comes to mind is @Talon Tiger Dino you have a plan where Cherenkolt talks to the Needles, but he is currently set to SH. And Recalibrating is meant to happen at this stage, if that's what you want. Is SH Cherenkolt what you really have in mind for this plan? No problem if it is, just checking.

You misunderstand, Cherenkolt is looking over the papers, not doing the talking. Think of him like a financial assistant who tells the more persuasive person what needs to change for maximum returns. His Stewardship has got to be higher than anyone else's here. I mean if he can recalibrate for free into Grail secondary I'll be all for sending him to the Needles solo, more efficient that way.

Edit: So he can Recalibrate as a Free Action, I will definitely set him to Grail and let him become Rarity's tiniest financial advisor.

Darling. Sweetie. Honey... I think you and I are thinking of very, very different Honors.

This isn't the honor of a noble opening the door, or pulling out a chair, or saying and keeping your word..
This is the honor of a children's tea party and their parents.



We can play house all we like. Take our parents to the table with too-small-chairs and fancy pretty plastic teacups and saucers. We can dance and say pretty magic words and spread gossip that would make the teddies blush. Talk of beautiful fairy tale lakes and castles while we play pretend with the very patient, very gentle, and very hungry parent in this metaphor.
And when they say that we can still play, but we need to clean up for dinner then... well...

We can have the fun, like you may like.
But if we grin and smile on up to them, saying we'll get ready! And they don't see us cleaning up our faces. Don't see us putting away the teacups and pretty little toys. When they don't see us bringing out the real plates or the real knives. When, even though the generous parent was happy to play pretend at your dinner table... that you won't help in what way you can with a real meal...

What is a parent to do?


Our Lady was a Mother too, once.
She knows how to treat an unruly child. One who doesn't want to eat, and just wants to play and have fun, like you suggest.

The decrease of her patience can happen in several different ways. I don't need to comment on that because I can be inventive, she is a Name, and you all have your own imaginations.

Also, I don't know if this adds to the answer or if you would consider this unrelated. But the fact remains Mareinette is the Name of Grail (and Heart) for this quest. So, she knows quite a bit about desire, and she is not a fool herself.

That being said, I'll remind you all that there is a difference between "playing hard to get" while enjoying the dance of courtship and acceptance, and "stringing someone along" without any intention of ever following through.

That, I think, is one of the factors Mareinette has her eyes on.

But we have not run out production capacity yet. We can produce reagents up to the sum total that is our Lore level which is for Forge is 4. Meaning producing Forge 2, Forge 1, Lantern 1 should be possible.

Guess I'll just ask. @OurLadyOfWires Lapdog speeds up manuscript production, "Institutional Knowledge" is level 1 Manuscript. Can Lapdog be used to make two such manual a turn as long as we spend action on it?
And we made Forge 2 reagent for this turn, but can we still produce Lantern 2 reagent or Forge 1, Lantern 1 as the same action? As we are able to produce free reagent up to total lvl 4 in sum I mean.

We can only make one reagent with our free reagent making action or two reagents with a Velvet AP. When it talks about total forge level it means making a single "Forge 1/Lantern 1" reagent like the Wolf Fur was Edge/Winter. We can't split it further into multiple low level reagents in one action. Our reagent action for the turn is already gone.
 
Eh, I'll put my vote on spying on Windy, since that's what I've been espousing this entire time. Though getting our hooves dirty would make it easier to slip the Forge's Redemption in there, introducing Forge lore also works, albeit a bit slower.

@OurLadyOfWires Does going to Tall Tale personally at least have a chance of affecting whether or not we get to keep the loot from it for ourselves?
