I was trying to go for funny fake suggestions but I guess I blew my load too early on "Cast Greater Polycule" and I didn't have a third wacky bad suggestion to finish out the joke. I'm confused why multiple people responded with "That's a bad idea". I don't support abusing Rarity's Minion status either to make her act as replacement wife.

Well, that would mean one less Name during All-In for most realistic scenarios, no?

And what I fear is Biedde combining all our enemies together into one force (get an in into Eclipse, help them out and show Velvet as a traitor through the Brand, then poke Neighnia to assist in getting rid of this force of Change) somehow. It's not very realistic, but then Cunning and Moth exist?
(As our QM has pointed out, deciding to poke Neighnia instead of the safe option is introducing delightful new variables in the place we need to have less in, in exchange for maybe revealing some information)

Egh, I'm thinking the timeline for spawncamping Biedde is around Turn 27.

So either we'd be doing All In going turn 28 and don't have to bother with Biedde or the Celestia doomclock would be defused by Selene and we'd have plenty of time to resummon Smiles.

I'm ambivalent myself.

Personally I'd rather commit to decisive action if we're bothering her. I.e. Baldomare scrying followed by an immediate expedition with befriended Names and a bunch of muscle.

But as Biedde says "It's what you don't know that kills you.", and currently we don't know what she's doing.

So it's not like current situation was guaranteed to be safe if we kept ignoring her.

I'm still torn between Ruin and Save. The reveal that Ruin might be especially brutal due to Moth shenanigans does have me leaning Save, but I also feel that Rich could just do so much better than Spoiled, agh

Not to put too fine a point on it, but Filthy is middle aged with a child and a Winter affinity. He doesn't want a new wife, he just wants his home life to not be miserable so that he can raise Diamond into someone functional without fucking her up too badly. He's not looking for a true love adventure for the ages here. It's not like we have any alternatives on offer for him. Ruining his marriage will not be conducive to Filthy's wellbeing.

Cadance would try to save their marriage, and as a Love's Chosen and partisan of Cadance's faction we therefore have a commitment to at least try. Especially since it's not like the usual times where we decide we know best and have explicit numbers on success chances or otherwise have any information whatsoever about how likely actions are to succeed. We have zero indication that one is less likely to be a disaster than the other so we might as well pick SAVE.
 
Plus Velvet has an habit of interfering in relationships.

Comet and Fluttershy, Shining and Cadance and now Filthy and Spoiled. All of them ended up much better after she decided to help them, so I hope the trend keeps going. We are even doing it in morally dubious ways as usual.

Besides, the lores also helped Velvet's own marriage(after a period of adjustment) so maybe they will also help Filthy's.

true on the first two (though we DID kind of mind control Shining into confessing, which, well, not cool), but Filthy and Spoiled is still to be seen

There's also the bits in the room for Ruin.

Given how Spoiled would be a Minion we could have her borrow a bunch of money and give it to Velvet before cutting her loose.

So Ruin also gives something like an extra hundred bits.

Not exactly happy about long term consequences of delaying investigating Stalking but playing it safe is admittedly understandable.

Hopefully Celestia will be defused so turn we won't have to keep helping Cadance.

We have Befriending Forge Name, Baldomare Sacraments, investigating Stalking and Befriending Smiles on the to do list afterall.

I'm kinda thinking of scrying two level 5 heart books. Would be nice for reaching heart 4.
