I feel like idiot for following this shit but is anyone else obsessed with this recent YouTube drama regarding Jake Paul? I hate reality TV and think people who are obsessed with celebrities are idiots but I can't stop following this shit. I just find it so entertaining even though I realize how ridiculously stupid it is.

Finished Grisaia. Honestly, it didn't live up to what I'd heard about it. The plot was only vaguely engaging (Yuuji's Captain Edge act didn't help) and the porn was pretty much execrable.
 
Had a dream in which I was having a morality debate with Ilias and an Ilias-hater. That was weird.

Well, no, even a total eclipse isn't darker than dusk. Sol is fully eclipsed by Terra during dusk, after all.

And yes, the Sun is rather bright and human vision isn't proportional, so partial eclipses aren't particularly dramatic. Relevant.

More like post on 4chan was what inspired few amateurish people with a passion to start working on it. End result is a nice VN with some nice cast, neat ideas a a LOT of problems born from each route having a different writer that cooperated but never had a Lead Writer and editors to keep things consistent. Thankfully they admit it themselves that if they could they would do it differently. Still it is still good VN and it's 100% free to download.

Had my first nightmare in 30 years two days ago, and last night had my first ever sleep parakysis episode...yay?

Dreamed I was a child again, walking through the park outside ny old house; I can't tell if it was dark or light because I could see but not very well or far. Something grabs me and pulls me into my back gate and I'm underground. The old lady next door to us died when I was very young and I found the body on a milk and bread run.

She was down there with me; same pained look on her face as when she had died, but she was screamimg,so loud my head was hurting and my teeth ached, I couldn't move, she reached out and pushed her thumbs into my eye sockets. I wake up.

The paralysis happened with the the same dream, but when I wake up the light through my window is red; everything looks like it's underwater and she's on my chest i can see her face above me; the screaming is high pitched, like the drone of an insect. It feels like I'n being strangled, and I can feel her breathe on my face. Then I wake up.

I havr no idea whats caused this but I want it to stop.

She was too infirm to leave her house; so my mother made me go get her bread and milk on the weekends, she was rude, a cunt and her house reeked of dead pig (her son was a butcher and dropped off fresh cuts), dog piss and tobacco.

I found her dead in her chair when I was ten, she'd clearly had a heart attack; it was winter so it was dark when I found her. He blanket was on the floor with her dinner, her one hand was bleding where her nails were dug in. I can remember her two dogs sat in the living room, one at her feet staring at me silently and the other in the entrance to the kitchen and he was growling. Her eyes were open and her lips were pulled back like she was grimacing. I remember thinking she was staring right at me, the streetlamp light was enough to illuminate her in the chair.

I was fucking terrified. I stood there for half am hour with her watching me, I kept expecting her to get up, then my mother came in looking for me and screamed.

I hated that house.

I don't know about the nightmare itself, but if I recall aright, sleep paralysis can be brought on by poor or interrupted sleep, among other things.
 
I find myself unsure how much our dog really shows her age. Took her for a walk today and she was doing what she usually does during walks with seemingly zero trouble, but she was... maybe a bit more grey than before? I don´t really have much to compare to and a look at a pic some eleven years old mostly matches my current memory.
Really, I´m just being silly. It´s hardly important.
 
So, Xenforo Invisitext Handler decided to switch to hover-mode instead of always on for some reason. And updating or removing/reinstalling it doesn't help. Anyone got the always-on version running that could send me the code so I can swap it back?
