Tbh, the disparity between world in Star Wars is like the Mariana Trench: The highest highs and the lowest of lows.Advanced medical equipment in real life is in nearly every country on earth even the poorest it's just that there isn't enough for everyone or it's just for those in power or who owns it so I feel like las might have as something he took with him when he came to be governor or would be something he would invest in a the capital city's general hospital
It actually reminds me a lot of Rimworld, what with the tech disparities and such, with the exception that in Rimworld, you have hyper-advanced societies on the same planet as tribals wielding the most basic of weapons imaginable.
Like, in the SW uni, on one planet you'll have tribals wielding sharp sticks and rocks and on another you'll have the most cutting-edge of technologies around every corner.
It's really odd how much disparity there is given how long the Galaxy has been settled.
Then again, I'm not a SW lore nut, so...
