QQ Minecraft

Ok, I'll try that method.

What do you guys think of crafting up some basic iron armor and scouting the nether for a fortress together so we can get to potion crafting? The zombie spawner drops iron gear often enough and sometimes it's even enchanted.
 
There is a trail of torches of me scouting in the nether, I have not had the same luck there as in the overworld.

Forgot to mention we found a Mine shaft the other day near the lava ravine.
 
Found a zombie spawner closer to your base Garahs . Its marked with a torch tower, you get out of your base and its to the left of the jungle.
 
Okay checked it out, I'll probably be on later tonight to see about drilling a hole/road straight to it. My meandering path finding skills is subpar.

Also anyone else have trouble with Lava Slimes not dropping anything?

And de grassed the Jungle a bit and worked on my tree base will soon start actually building.

To note also the Nether gate had Pigmen coming through it no idea how the base on the other side was still intact.
 
Garahs I just did a little research and you cant get a book with mending from the enchantment table, you only find it in chests or fishing.
 
I think we have a comunication problem here.
What I mean is: Why would we need diamond gear?
 
So news on my Nether Fort Road. Good news?

I made a few tunnels and Markers and replaced Soul Sand with Rack.

Bad news I broke 12 Iron Picks, 3 Shovels, and the 'road' sorta meanders off to the left before coming back around. Oh and its partly un marked.

Orher News, I have a Ghast Tear.
 
It's next to the dessert pyramid opposite from your base. It's a rectangle made of cobblestone.
 
Ok, I've found a way to afk fish. i shall have that mending enchantment book, and then I shall combine it with silk touch and get an awesome diamond pick!

Building up above the clouds is fun, even though it leaves me a bit resource starved and this is a Savanna M biome instead of an Extreme Hills like I was initially after. In the general vicinity of x1050, z650 or so. Will probably go find somewhere snowier after making a nice house or something.

There are three villages fairly close by though, all reachable by boat.
 
Man, this makes me feel nostalgic. Granted, my initial run was on a 'griefing wars' low version server with industry mods, but still. Could you guys send me an invite? Not sure how often I'll be on, but I do feel like digging around all of a sudden.
