[RWBY] RWBY Shorts

In RWBY, being a popular or interesting antagonist is a death flag.
Which probably became one of the death flags for RWBY and Rooster Teeth themselves honestly. The only thing people like more than a good hero is a great villain, and all the ones you mentioned had so much potential and interest, only to be smothered in the execution. It boggles the mind, how from where I could see, so many people where not happy with how things were going but they just kept plugging their ears and doubling down.

So, any thoughts for Fafnir?
That makes me think that he would do well as an Adam Smasher for the SDC. Utterly loyal to Jacques because the bastard gives him the best gear and fights.
I could even work him as a believer of the Promethean Cults, and a such, a cyborg of immense strenght and intellect.

So how would we avoid this with Fafnir?
You could still go with the Willow angle she reciprocates his feelings at first because she actually sees some form of good in him, but due to Jaques being a poisoned chalice it slowly twists him away from the good man Willow loved. It could lead to a revelation where we find out Weiss and either of her siblings aren't Jaquess's kids but Fafnir's. It would really give the idea that his death would be a tragedy and how Jaquess twists and corrupts everything around him.

You could also have Fafnir be the one who inspired Winter to go into the Atlesian military.

Random Idea: Jaune becomes a superhero, rather than a huntsman, abd as a result becomes far more of a Hero and a symbol than he ever could have been as a huntsman, because he stands alone and takes people's hope on his shoulders.

Ozpin wants to make him a huntsman to take advantage of how he's becoming more and more famous and respected, but Jaune continuously refuses, his desire to do so broken by his prior rejection and his family's absolute belief in his failure, not that they were wrong.

Meanwhile, Team RWBY and others see him as an inspiration, and try to become Heroes themselves or fight by his side, to varying success.

Jacques and Fafnir once brothers in name, if not blood, it was them against the world. two young men at the bottom of society who want to reach the top, Jacques being the brains and Fafnir being the brawns, once decent men who have forgotten the reason for their goal. Jacques once a man who would have been horrified by what he has become, now a twisted man who cares not for how many life he has to ruined to bring his brother, the only person he still love and is loyal to, and himself to the top of society. Fafnir, an Armadillo girdled lizard/crocodile faunus, once a man who would have given his love willing to those who would take it, who once loved his brother and his family as though they were his own. now more of a machine than man, having sacrifice his body, flesh and morals for the sake of his brother and their new family, doing whatever dirty deed he must, but a life like that takes a toll of on even a great person and Fafnir was never a great man, only good, turning a love once so pure to poison most foul. soon the whispers began, whispers in the heart, the mind and the ear, whispers spoken by a certain doctor of robotics and an immortal witch, of why should Fafnir share? did he not sacrifice more than Jacques? should he not have more? soon Fafnir is consumed by greed and his love turns bitter, but Fafnir still loves the Schnee, a twisted possessive love for a woman who would used him as a tool to spite his brother, for children that were never his own, but treated as so. Salem offers him a way to regain his body and flesh, a way that changes him from a dragon in name to a dragon in life and just Fafnir turns, turns from a good man to a tool, from a tool to monster, betraying a man who still sees him as a brother on behalf of Salem, leaving nothing but ashes in his wake.

A few random ideas:

-Ren and Nora did a lot of odd jobs in the past. Including some work for a mad scientist or two. They recognize the mad scientist's handiwork when they run into one of his giant robot monsters.

-A few villages have tried using cannabis to stay mellow enough to avoid Grimm attacks but this is more challenging than it appears.

-Grimm who inhabit and puppeteer the bodies of the dead would be utterly horrifying. Let's explore it!

-Yang does not have a crush on Jaune. She does not. She's just hanging out with him a lot since he's best friends with her little sister. So what if she's hanging out with him outside of that? Doesn't mean anything!

-Ironwood is not a subtle man. If Jaune Arc's future kids with any Huntress will be super powered, the answer is clear: Get Jaune Arc laid!

-Weiss strives to prove she can cook and clean for herself... To mixed results. At first.

-Ruby begins to experiment with just what her Silver Eyes can do...

-A few villages have tried using cannabis to stay mellow enough to avoid Grimm attacks but this is more challenging than it appears.
The Grimm formed gangs, and they are all actively warring with one another... much to Salem's chagrin.

-Grimm who inhabit and puppeteer the bodies of the dead would be utterly horrifying. Let's explore it!
The Geist Mafia puppeteered dead bodies to allow their nefarious cannabis monopoly to stay unopposed until an Apathy Gang member appeared with a bunch of Beowolf Pack members to take their operation down when one of their packmates got killed in a Geist Mafia crossfire.

-Grimm who inhabit and puppeteer the bodies of the dead would be utterly horrifying. Let's explore it!
A suggestion for that idea.
A Geist/Chills (sub)species called a Ghoul (or maybe that's what the dead bodies are called, and the Grimm is called a Wright, Ghost or something), which can only control (relatively fresh) dead bodies, and they're not very tough, strong or fast.

The problem with them is that a single one can control a very large number of bodies at once, and they have a decently large range (so finding them is in itself a challenge).
The dead bodies they control also aren't slow shambling zombies, but very fast and strong, like a terminator, as all the normal limitations bodies have are now turned off (though this does mean that the bodies will break down due to overuse and inability to heal).
Even someone who was out of shape is suddenly a big threat that is trying to kill others to make more of bodies to control, although thankfully those dead bodies can't use Aura or Semblances and only clumsily use weapons or tools.

So it's a bit like a snowball effect, where one without any bodies under it's command is very easily dealt with, but once it has a couple of bodies, then it can quickly escalate when every fallen becomes another threat.

They would also be likely to hang out with a physically stronger, tougher Grimm, to supply them with one or two bodies to start of with, at least the older and smarter ones would.

edit: some more info and clarification.

I had an idea in the back burner for an RPG mob that worked like the Ghoul posted above. But instead of a terminator it's more like the endless shambling hordes of something like Left 4 Dead or Warhammer Fantasy, where no matter hiw much you kill, there are more bodies following behind.

A mildly messed up idea.

So teams RWBY and JNPR want to get stronger but like all dumb kids they wanna do it fast. So a relative of jaunes (uncle knives) comes in with the old huntsmen special.

Knives: "Aura grows through personal growth and life experience. We can't speed up experience but we can speed run personal growth."

Ruby: "how do we do that? Super secret meditation and power of friendship?"

Knives: "close. I'm going to slam all your trauma buttons until you either grow past it or give up the hunters life."

Ruby: "oh...that doesn't sound fun."

Knives: "it's very fun. For me. Training starts now!"

Idea, they're free

- Jaune has an uncle who works for the secret organisation that is in charge of investigating, containing, and keeping secret of anomalies, and supernatural bullsh*t (the organisation knows about Salem and Ozma, but they're classified as uncontainable).
The games they played with Jaune were actually meant to teach Jaune what he should do if he should ever encounter something supernatural or anomalous.

- Due to many drunk gambling nights, Nick Arc has won multiple engagements of daughters for the many future sons he will have (or he bet his future sons hands in marriage and lost).
One small problem, he only had one son, and the other parents have already invested too much time, effort and/or money into it to take no for an answer, so Jaune is now engaged to a bunch of girls.

- Yang's type is boys/girls with pretty faces, beautiful dreamy eyes, and a strong athletic bodies and the contrast between these things on one person.
She knows that Blake has these qualities, but she's in trouble when she encounters Jaune coming out of the shower, and now she can't stop thinking about it.

- White Fang tests a new weapon, a bomb that turns everyone into Faunus, because if everyone is Faunus, than nobody can supress them anymore.
The issue with it is that all the animal instincts are much stronger than with normal Faunus, and Faunus within range gain the same stronger animal instincts.
Who was effected by the first test/field use, what kind of Faunus do they become, and what will the effects of this transformation be?

The parents that are left (or interested) visit Vale during the Vytal festival. Isabela decides to watch Jaune for a bit to see how much he has changed in a year (her baby was bed bound in a hospital for the first 14 years, why couldn't he be a Doctor! He qualified for medical school and everything!) when she noticed all the girls surrounding him, or rather she recognized their mothers. Athena Nikos was a crazy bitch that swore Nick was to be hers because they would breed the greatest warrior. Willow was, well it sucks that Jacques was wearing a mask but she wasn't going to have a threesome with Willow damn it, no matter how flexible she was on that pole. Kali was, Kali was a shit stirrer, that's it. The fact that Jaune was born shortly after returning from Menagerie when Team SANI was hired for help on how to country had nothing to do with Kali constant teasing. Yang was her preffered choice of a daughter-in-law. She still had the video where Jaune swore to marry Yang and be the househusband and take care of Ruby so Yang could be a Huntress and drag her mom home. That was the first time Tai laughed since what happened to Summer. The last girl in a puffer jacket and a beanie....any resemblance to Sani was a complete coincidence. Maia was dead and she was just seeing ghosts. Still, how can she convince the girl to give her some blood for testing without sounding like a creep?

Athena when she realizes Pyrrha is mooning after the son of Nick (no last name because that bitch stole the perfect male from her) is giving her advice on chloroform and other methods of chemical persuasion and how to interfere condoms without making it obvious. Pyrrha is somewhat grateful for the first non-combat advice she ever received, but weren't there PSAs warning girls about this? Maybe it doesn't apply to men?

Willow, realizing just who the parents of Jaune are, breaks down and tells Weiss about the best man she ever met and his girlfriend. Her chance at happiness is gone (unless Jacques dies) but Weiss still has a chance. Don't throw it away out of misplaced pride! Try talking to him without the expectations of society. Finally, he is still technically a Prince of Albion. The courts haven't finished the paperwork behind his Great Grandmother's abdication.

Kali saw another pot to stir but saw that Blake was paying subtle attention to Jaune. She knew that Blake was piling too much guilt on herself from all the information she had (Atlas really needed to up their cybersecurity game, Menagerie was barely attached to the CCT network and she was getting updated sooner than James Ironwood was. For Shame) and was terrified of her Ex. She briefly wondered how much it would cost to have Nick go pay a 'visit' to Adam and explain certain social niceties to him, like how No Means No and other things of that nature. Her daughter had turned to unrealistic porn to deal with all her past everything so maybe encouraging her to go for the Harem ending might be best? The other women circling Jaune clearly had their own issues so maybe they could support each other. Marriage to an Arc would only help Menagerie since Radian had the largest Faunus population outside of Kuo Kuana. Wasn't Jaune still a Prince of Albion? She would need to check on the courts to see how far along they are.

May stuck close to Yang. The boistrous flame was subdued with all of their friend's moms hanging around. May nudged her shoulder and the two motherless women stuck close to their oblivious blonde.

Some ideas i had for The New Teacher and want some feedback on:
-Power Armor. An offshoot research from battlemechs, primarily used by mining corporations that aren't the SDC.
-Energy weapons. Extremely rare on Remnant outside Atlas' military labs, Carol made one with scrap and spare parts.
-How common should cyborgs be? As previously established, 'getting chromed' eats away at ones soul until they become soulless. How is that seen by the public at large?

Good thoughts. Power armor of various kinds and grades can also be used by other private concerns.

Full cyborgs should be very rare. As in military grade Ghost in the Shell cyborgs. But people with enhanced limbs, eyes, etc should be more common.

Cowboys of Remnant: Maintaining Cover
- - -

Cinder Fall truly resented having to maintain her cover. Putting up with these ingrates was bad enough in school: Now they had to go on training missions? It took a lot more work to stay within the bounds of relatively average Hunters-in-Training.

Having to go and protect some yokels in a bubble town outside of Vale's walls was deeply degrading to her sense of pride.

Having to work alongside Pyrrha Nikos and her irritating team made it even more difficult. To see the confident young woman approach every challenge with a determined smile, a hopeful look to her hillbilly leader and her orphan teammates. Ugh... It was so disgusting.

Still, at least this mission was fairly straightforward. Team JNPR had taken the lead, and Cinder had begged off going right into battle in favor of guarding the civilians. Which was at least simple: The ingrates had obeyed her orders to move to the shelters without argument, and they'd kept watch for Grimm.

Cinder naturally had just ordered any Grimm to stay away from the town itself. It had been tempting to direct the Grimm in the area to rush JNPR and slaughter them, but her cover needed to be maintained and such an upset would draw too much attention.

Finally, they got the call on their Scrolls that JNPR had repelled the Grimm attack. They headed for the western walls, where the fighting had been most intense. They walked up and saw numerous holes in the wall, all the result of the fight. Team JNPR was there, sweeping the area carefully. Jaune Arc, the team leader, was chatting on his Scroll while Nora Valkyrie and Lie Ren swept out further. Nikos was keeping watch, sitting on top of Arc's horse.

She hadn't known that students could bring their own horses, but that was fine: Cinder hated the animals anyway.

A feeling that was mutual, as the horse looked up with a side long glare. Arc smiled at her as she, Emerald, Mercury and Neo approached.

"Howdy, Miss Fall!" He greeted her. "Everything okay?"

"Yes, the townsfolk are unharmed," she said, using her best 'relieved and awed young lady' voice, "Wow, you took them all down?"

"Pyrrha did most of the work," he said modestly. The Amazon blushed, and smiled.

"You did plenty as well, Jaune," she complimented him. The smile they shared was sickening. Emerald and Mercury barely hid their disgust, as Neo played on her Scroll.

"So," Cinder said, in as business-like a manner as possible, "Shall we call for evac?"

Arc shook his head.

"Not yet," he said. Cinder frowned.

"Not yet? Why? Are there more Grimm to kill?"

She was sure there weren't. Arc looked at the wall.

"We ain't done yet," he said. He saw the townsfolk emerging, and smiled.

"Hey folks! Don't you worry none about your wall: We're gonna rebuild it for you!"

The mayor of the town, a thin, graying man, gaped in astonishment. An expression Cinder would share if she wasn't such a good actress.

"Y-You will?" He gasped.

"We will?" Mercury muttered.

"Sure as shootin'!" Jaune said with a grin. He held up his Scroll, showing a map. "There's an old granite quarry close by. We'll get enough stone to rebuild the walls. Just need you folks to help with the clean up."

"That's very generous, uh, Mister Arc was it?" The mayor said, "But we can't pay you any more for the mission-"

"Shucks, don't you worry about it," Jaune chuckled. "We're all in this together, right?"

Cinder frowned. She had to phrase this just right to keep their cover...

"Jaune," she said quietly, walking up alongside him, "I don't think we're qualified for this kind of work. We're Hunters-in-Training, after all, not builders-"

Arc smiled and patted her on the shoulder.

"Don't worry, Miss Fall. You ain't gonna be doing any building. Though I would be mighty obliged if you helped out in other ways."

"What other ways would those be?" Cinder asked, even as the townspeople got to work clearing up the debris behind them. Jaune smiled.

"Well one... Mind if I borrow Mister Black?" Jaune looked over at Mercury. "Your feet look like they'd be good at breakin' stone. Am I right?"

"You're right, Cornpone," Mercury deadpanned, though there was a hint of pleased surprise in his voice. Jaune nodded, and looked back at Cinder.

"And you know how to cook, right Miss Fall?"

"I... Yes," Cinder said. Jaune beamed.

"Great! Then that makes it easy!"

Which is how Cinder found herself cooking on a hastily assembled grill, her hair tied back in a bun, an apron around her waist, as she and Emerald prepared food the villagers provided. Neo made herself useful getting water and ice, and distributing it. She bounced around like a waitress, using a discarded shield as a large platter. Cinder wiped her forehead free of sweat as she flipped some burgers, and then slid them over onto a plate for a waiting worker.

"Thank you, Miss Fall!" The man said happily, sharing the food with his two children: Both young boys. They smiled up at her with eager smiles that just made her ragged, blackened excuse for a soul curl in on itself.

"Thank you, Miss Fall!" They chorused, as their father guided them away. Cinder let out a breath, her eyebrow twitching. Emerald, cooking some vegetables in a pot nearby, looked over at her mistress in concern.

"Cinder...?"

"Just bear with it, Emerald," Cinder muttered, "Just bear with it..."

The hot sun beating down on her was the worst part. Even her Semblance didn't protect her from all aspects of the elements, and this was approaching intolerable-!

Shade fell over her. She looked to the right and saw the mayor and a few other men hefting up some tents over poles. The mayor smiled.

"Pretty ladies like you shouldn't be working out in the sun too hard! Especially if you're cooking for us!" He winked.

Cinder adopted an embarrassed but pleased look, while inwardly she seethed.

"When is that idiot gonna get back here," she muttered, glaring up at Nikos. The Argusian champion was on overwatch above, though she too had gotten an umbrella from the grateful townsfolk. Neo was even sharing some ice water with her, the little traitor.

Cinder sighed.

"He's going to take a while," she decided, "The among of granite you'd need to repair this wall is astronomical. One horse isn't going to-"

The ground shook and rumbled. All eyes turned to the largest gaping hole in the white walls. A horse trotted into view through the trees, large chains around her chest. Behind her was a boulder the size of a small house, and the mighty mare was dragging it with only minimal effort.

Arc walked alongside his horse. Valkyrie, Ren, and Mercury were riding atop the boulder. Arc waved with a grin.

"HOWDY! SORRY IT TOOK SO LONG!" He shouted to the shocked townspeople, "I THINK THIS'LL BE PLENTY THOUGH!"

Cinder and Emerald's own jaws fell as they beheld the spectacle. The crowd cheered happily. Nikos of course was smiling broadly and almost dreamily at her hillbilly leader. Something he entirely failed to notice.

Idiot...!

Hours later, night began to fall. Thanks to the assistance of eight Aura-empowered teenagers, Nora and Mercury's strikes, and the townspeople's chisels and hammers, the walls were fully restored. Underneath the repaired walls, the townspeople celebrated with music, dancing, and bonfires.

Cinder finally got a break, going off with the excuse of needing to powder her nose. She made it into a small alley near the walls, sat down on a low garden wall, and she seethed. It felt good, it powered up the Grimm inside her.

Being made to work like a-a scullery maid! Again! Her hand went up to the choker around her neck. Painful memory after painful memory burned through her mind. She clenched her fist, letting flames burn around it.

She could burn this entire fucking village down, right now. Make them pay for these insults. Pay for laughing and dancing and smiling while she had to hide her rage, hold back her true feelings the whole fucking time-!

"Howdy Miss Fall!"

She turned and glared at the cause of these painful reminders. Arc stood there, exhausted, sweaty, but smiling. She quickly schooled her features into something more neutral at the concerned look he wore.

"Oh, I'm sorry Miss Fall. I just wanted to check on you. Are you all right?"

"I... I-I'm fine," she grunted. She rubbed her choker again. "Just fine..."

Arc stared at her. He walked up and sat down next to her on the stone wall she was perched on. He doffed his hat and scratched the back of his head nervously.

"I... I know it was asking a lot of you to handle all the cooking," he said quietly, "But thank you. Everyone's mighty grateful to you."

"It-It wasn't an issue-" Cinder lied, but Arc shook his head.

"It's all right. I ain't gonna pry," he said, "But you made a lot of folks happy. So thank you again. We made their lives a lot better."

Cinder looked away, glaring down at the ground.

"Why bother?" She muttered.

"Hm?" Arc asked, leaning forward. Cinder started, and then sighed. She kept her rage under control, but a deep nihilism rose.

"Why bother? The walls will be broken down again. These people... Eventually, they'll die," she muttered, "So... Why bother with any of this?"

It was why she had set herself on her path, after all. Her life was destroyed over and over by people with power over her. A power she sought desperately, so that she would never be hurt again.

This village would be destroyed and all the smiles wouldn't matter then. All the gratitude shown her wouldn't have changed anything...

"You're right," Arc said. Cinder started again and stared.

"Huh?"

"Walls get knocked down and people die. That's the way of the world," Arc agreed, his eyes staring up at the stars as they began to come out into the night. "It happens enough to you... Sometimes... You wonder why you bother."

Cinder blinked in confusion.

"So... Why do it?" She blurted out despite herself. Arc turned back to her and smiled.

"Cause life's all about getting back up again. And continuing on. And if you help someone else get back up, well... Then they ain't getting back up alone. Maybe they can keep getting up, and help others too. Cause there's a lot in life worth getting back up for."

"... Is there?" Cinder asked softly. Arc nodded.

"Sure is. These kids have another day to grow up, play, and have fun. These adults have another day to do something, be something. The old folks get to see everything they did wasn't for nothin'."

"It might only be for one more day," Cinder argued quietly.

"One more day can make all the difference," Arc argued back gently. He reached into his messenger bag, and pulled out a bright red and orange wildflower. He handed it over to her with a smile.

"I hope you like it. It reminded me of you," he said.

Cinder started. She stared at the flower intensely.

"I-"

"It-It's just a friendly gesture!" Arc insisted, his cheeks going red, "Honest! D-Don't mean anything romantic by it! Th-Though you are mighty pretty, I just uh... I ain't focused on that right now, you know?"

Cinder stared for a long moment. She held out her hand.

"Just give me the flower, you hillbilly," she sighed. Arc smiled, and handed it to her. She took it in her hand and studied it.

"The townsfolk have food and drink if you'd like some," Jaune said, putting his hat back on and tipping it to her, "And our Bullhead will arrive early in the morning. Goodnight, Miss Fall."

"Goodnight, Mister Arc," Cinder muttered. He turned and headed off, his poncho waving slightly in the nighttime breeze. Cinder glared down at the flower after he left. She clenched her fist around it.

She should burn it right now. Her facade was such she could be mercurial. Just burn it, toss it away. A bit of kindness by some stranger didn't change anything. He was some slack jawed idiotic yokel, what did he know of pain or suffering?

She should burn it in front of him, just for the sight of his face falling and the pain it would cause. It would feed her inner Grimm, make her stronger...

That's what this was all for, right?

"Cinder?"

Cinder looked over at Emerald. The green haired girl was staring at her in concern.

"Cinder? Are you all right?"

Cinder glared at her.

"I'm fine," she muttered. She thought for a moment, before tucking the flower behind her ear. She sighed, and stood up.

"We need to put in an appearance at the celebration," she stated formally, "Just to avoid suspicion."

"I... Yes Cinder," Emerald said with a nod, "Um... The flower-?"

"The flower," Cinder stated firmly, "Is none of your concern."

Emerald nodded quickly.

"Y-Yes ma'am."

Cinder's scowl softened. She schooled her features to be tired but grateful. Another mask, one of many, and one of her most useful.

Yet for some reason, it didn't feel quite as taxing...

I wrote that it makes sense to have Exo suits and Power armor of various level and type(more for helping move stuff, excavation, farm work, stuff like that) as well as predecessors to the Scrolls(like Pip Boy variants, going from vacuum tubes monochrome to colored and microprocessors with LED displays) and Gunpowder guns as predecessors of the Dust guns(gunpowder guns are still used in Frontier towns, have options of both elemental modules on guns and melees ala Borderlands style, with spicy loads for ammo of normal chemical loads like incendiary, but also Dust loaded grenades, mines, rockets and missiles), meaning Power armor as offshoot of Battlemech fits and could still be used both for defense and settlement stuff along with all the other things.

Energy weapons might not have been invested into a lot except by Atlas. Energy tools like a Plasma cutter and a Laser cutter that someone could modify into a weapons platform? that could work.

Cyborgs would be supported by Atlas because they have the capacity for it. Cybernetic prosthetics would be more widespread.

Memories of Immortals
So for thousands of years, Ozma and Salem have been fighting. And once again, there are so many different things they may have fought with. So many different attempts at fighting one another and of course, plenty of crazy shit. Stuff made when they were drunk or high or just bored.

Ruby: "Hey Headmaster Ozpin? We found something in a giant cave. Do you know what it is?"

Ozpin: "Send me a picture?"

She does.

52878a758ab67f2e5198530f1a612511.png

Ozpin: "... Well shit."

Ruby: "Headmaster?"

Ozpin: "Hang on, I need to make a call."

Ozpin rings up Salem... Who actually answers.

Salem: "What?!"

Ozpin: "Do you remember this thing? Or was it one of yours?"

Salem stares.

Salem: "... Wasn't that from that party with that purple armored kid? With the blue and redheaded wives?"

Ozpin: "Oh yeah... Ha... We got so drunk!"

Salem: "Yes, and you still couldn't get it up!"

Ozpin: "I had mana burnout! It's not MY fault you didn't want to have sex FIRST but instead wanted to make THAT thing!"

Salem: "No, it was YOUR idea!"

Ozpin: "YOURS!"

Salem: "YOURS!"

I kinda already went into Mash's pursuits in my last post, but I'll reiterate them here. I first wanted to put her into a researcher role, nodding to her time at Chaldea after her depowerment. But I realized that one of the more defining parts of Mash's character was learning and experiencing what it meant to be human, and the wonders she discovered. Also nodding to her inheritance of Galahad, I figured she'd travel as something as a knight-errant/Hunter, keeping a journal and pictures of her travels and experiences. After some goading by her close friend, she shares her thoughts and words on the CCT forums. She's gathered a following of fans, and minor celebrity, and has started a book series about a band of heroes traveling through time to save Remnant. To build on Guikoi's idea, Lancelot and Guinevere adopted her after the tragic deaths of her parents, Dr. Roman Archaman and Dr. Lisa Vinchi.

Roman Archaman: *bumps into someone* "Oh, excuse me, I didn't mean to-"
The Chaldean: *wide-eyed* "..."
Roman: "...Oh hell."
The Chaldean: "...Third Noble Phantasm, DEPLOY."

A few more prompts and ideas for this morning:

-As it turns out, Kali's desperate desire for grandchildren has a political component to it: Ghira is dying. And without Blake coming back and having an heir to ensure the bloodline continues, Sienna Khan might just take over Menagerie. So Blake has to find herself a husband, FAST.

-Jaune gets dragged off every so often by his Nana Arturia, to help her with her work as a Councilwoman. How does that go?

-Ruby has a tendency to go mad scientist, and Jaune has to try to corral her and keep her from going too far.

-Granny Xiao-Long and Nana Arturia have some long standing issues. Issues they try to resolve through violence-Or perhaps their grandkids.

-What if Klein was actually Weiss's real father?

-Pyrrha's mother tries to get Pyrrha to star in an action film, and the rest of her friends get roped into it.

-What if Klein was actually Weiss's real father?
This seems like it could actually make Weiss' character and story less interesting, and does similar things to Willow's character.

-Pyrrha's mother tries to get Pyrrha to star in an action film, and the rest of her friends get roped into it.
Jaune should be cast as the totally helpless and bland love interest, but his acting, improvisation, added jokes in the movie and on set, his friendliness and good ideas for additions to the plot make him by far the most popular character of the movie and actually makes him get asked for projects independantly from Pyrrha.

The influx of fangirls causes Pyrrha stress but not as much as the shippers refusing to ship her with Jaune because the chemistry wasn't in the movie.

So a thing about Ren and Nora.

They're obviously trauma bonded, which....ok it isn't the WORST thing but there is a reason it's almost universally agreed to try to make it so they don't rely on them.

Some people shut down completely when separated or go homicidally nuts.

And even if they're together they can get pretty hostile at times to outsiders.

(This isn't true of all trauma bonds, just generalizations. Severity can also depend on how bad the trauma was and how long the bond has been in place)

What I'm saying in initation and team JNPR in general probably should have had a much tougher time than canon shows.

Especially considering that Ren and Nora lived alone for years. I'm honestly surprised Nora isn't half feral.
