To clarify things, louise has one <Anycolor> mana, and one <Red> mana. So she could cast a <Anycolor>C spell, a RR spell, or a CC spell, if there is a spell that takes two colorless.

Edit: And she can only do instants or sorceries right now, as she's operating on 'take mana, shove mana through wand' level of knowledge.

Mana cost aside, is our library of spells anything in MTG or do we need to discover them somehow? Because if it's anything, we currently have access to a shit ton of removal and other goodies.

Also, who needs Giant Growth when you have Brute Force?

And I'm not suggesting we go pure Black.. I just think we should step away for a second from Red.. Multi Colored is better and really.. Black = Void.. Why not explore that aspect for pure thematic reasons if nothing else?

Please bear in mind the limitations we're currently under;

start with (1) any color mana, and (1) red mana (can be converted to colorless)
spells are currently mono-color thus to trying things out
Only instant and Sorcery spells. No creature summons, no enchantments, no artifacts, no planeswalkers.

Within that limitation... what can you do?
Bearing in mind, Louise has NO idea what she can do and is still thinking of pump magic into wand and get special effect.

Crazyfoxdemon, what makes you think Void is Black? Void isn't a part of the MtG setting, its a one Plane phenomenon. It isn't Black, because it isn't tied to swamps or darkness. It's Void, defined as the Absence of something. The fact that it does stuff that requires high level Planeswalkers to replicate is just an awesome bonus.

It wasn't about grand explosion... it's about Louise summoning a 14/1 elemental token and going oh shit! and stopping it with a nice bolt of doom.

And going non monocolor, which is a violation of the terms that I set out the options in. Biigoh's option is something someone first experimenting with MTG style magic could feasibly do. Yours involves invoking multiple demons and then using them as power sources for an effect in another color.

And to clarify, while void is not black, black is sometimes void. (But not always. It's just the simplest way to invoke it. Note that simplest does not mean best)

MTG is like Yugi-Oh with 1/10 the health/attack/defense power of cards and needs resources to use cards.

It is also an expensive habit if you go "legit" Friday Night Magic matches/tournament as opposed to casuals...
