I will become God-Harem King of the World! [Highschool DxD/Exalted] (CLOSED)

i pulled up the wiki page for servants and the ones i left out i did so on purpose. I feel avenger would be a sucky class to be for example.

We could always add a Guardian class for a heavy-defense fighter. Yang would probably benefit from that one.

now that i think about we could create a priestesses class and give that to Asia. caster is then open for Weiss (if she is arround, hope she is) and saber can go to Xenovia.

Guys, we're Exalted. Why not base them off the Exalted? 4 Exalted types x 5 castes/aspects = 20 different possibilities.

True, but I felt I should at least mention it. Its not the classes fault it got that thing as its servent... well you know what I mean.

That's kind of what I was trying to go for with the Shielder Class... thing. I'm just bad with names.

But I honestly think Yang would be the best for berserker. If she has the same trigger her canon self does then that means she is already a natural berserker so even if she gets some of the general insanity and bloodlust, which is traded for even more strength and endurence, she should be able to direct it better than many others would. Not to mention we can put an on/off switch for her and try to mitigate the effects at the very least.

But yeah, another class might be better and just skip completely over this class altogether.

Ehh... they wouldn't live up to it. Not to mention I think it leaves a bit of a bad taste in peoples mouth. If we can make actual Exalted Shards, or something very close to them, then I think that would be okay, but for now... no.

Exactly what I was thinking when I thought that up.

The problem with Fate servant classes is that they are mostly defined by fighting style or weapon.
Sabers are close range melee fighters, Lancers are Sabers but with long range melee weapons, Archers use ranged weapons, Riders are fast with a powerful special attack, Casters use magic, Berserkers are Riders, Lancers or Sabers except they are insane and Assassins are stealthy.
This system works if you want to classify pre-existing fighters into categories but not so much when you are making new ones. Most characters could fall under at least three of the classes, which is fine if we had bunch of people and had to build a party consisting of them but we will be empowering people. Fate servant classes are based on skillsets, not abilities.

Which is why I was wondering if we can study how our own Favored and Caste abilities work as far as making them easier to learn and such. Giving something like that would help immensely for individual ability.

And Archer proves the fact that Servents can fight outside of the system but the biggest point we need to remember is that we are creating an empowerment system while the Heavens Feel Ritual was a system that empowered those weaker than the baseline for there class but also weakened and restricted those that were stronger than what the system was set to. Under our system they will gain new skills but won't lose any, unlike how Lancer couldn't access his Warp Spasm NP.

The assumption I'm working with is that the classes provide set boosts in the same way that the evil pieces do. So for example it's not that Ruby is a Lancer because she has super speed, but that we gave Ruby the Lancer class to make her even faster than she already is. We could also give her the Saber class to make her stronger and tougher so that she's not a fragile speedster and her existing super speed carries even more punch. We could also do stuff like give Yang a caster class and help her develop into a kung-fu wizard.

Eh making them after a DB circle seems the best.
Fire
Water
Earth
Wood
Air

Twice over it helps that we can teach half castes the styles of their origins.

... And now I'm smacking myself for not thinking like that. I need to go to sleep.

Night all.

after we understand the evil peices we should check to see if we have to predefine each of our cards. we could make no set configuration making it possible to match a person to the class they fit best even if you already have someone of that class.

We could train somebody to be a Saber (swordsman) or a Lancer (spearman) or an Archer (bow/crossbowman) or a Rider (mounted infantry) or a Caster (mage) or an Assassin (assassin/spy). Fate servant classes are based on what a person fought with in their life. All servants were great fighters in their life because that's the requirement to become a heroic spirit and they were classified by fighting style. Compare this to Evil Piece system. Knights are fast, Rooks are tough, Bishops use magic, Pawns are "mooks", Queens are all rounders and King runs the show.
In game terms, the servant classes are skillsets while Evil pieces are stat builds. You could have a Knight/Saber (fast swordsman) or a Knight/Lancer (fast lancer) or a Knight/Rider (fast mounted fighter/heavy hitter) or a Rook/Saber (strong swordsman) or a Rook/Lancer (Strong lancer) or a Rook/Rider (Strong mounted fighter/heavy hitter).

Not really. We need to have those skills first, and then to be really good at it we also need War charms, especially Tiger Warrior Training Technique. It's probably better if we stick to enhancing natural talents.

I was speaking generally. You can train someone to be a Saber, as being a Saber just means that you fight with a sword, or a Lancer, as being a Lancer means you fight with a lance.

Do I need to remind people that a smaller harem is also easier to manage and easier for Alexander to write? A large number of girls means a large number of characters who need to share screen time, and the more we have to deal with the less time for development each girl is going to get.

Those... are some good points, unfortunately.

On the other hand, while a harem could theoretically be as small as three members or so, a title like 'God-Harem King of the World!' implies some quite more substantial numbers. We're a Solar, we don't do things halfway.
Add to that the fact that we're quite likely to charm girls without even intending to (see Mittelt), especially considering our Limit-Break, and considering our motivation are not going to say no to them, and that if the current trend holds there are going to be quite a few OC-girls, and I'd prefer to keep our options open.

Seems interesting.

I like the Fate Stay Night system on retrospect. As long as we can extend it to include multiple teams I
m for it. At the moment we have 4 girls who might be recruitable maybe a fifth in the wings.

i just realized: who says we have to fully stick with the system we shove on everyone else? the mass produced cards will be two sets of Saber, archer, lancer, rider, caster, assasian and Guardian. the people who we like or earn our intrest will get an expanded deck conatining the specal classes (priest(ess) ruler etc.) while we can just make one every time a girl joins the harem; their likely going to like that we care enough to custom make their card ourself.

With the mention of cards and such, why not a pactio system like Negima did? Each member gets a unique power up.

part of the reason for the cards is so we can make and sell off a mass produced version. (which i plan on using as seed money for setting up a corporation)

Okay, how about we take a different approach to this.
What do we want to empower and how? Actually, what CAN we empower?

depends on the end result of our research on the evil peices. this will take about 37 days by my estamte at current rate. we could change our secdual so get our 4 hours of sleep in a side room of the building the Occult club is after dumping all our motes into analysis. if the motes to progress ratio matches up... this should cut the time down to... 6 or 7 days. if your worried about ambush i think Mittelt would be happy to watch over our sleeping form.

edit: opps small mistake in my numbers. make that 7 or 8 days.

What we want is a method to empower our followers like the Evil Pieces system, preferrably utilizing Essence, propably with Power-Awarding Prana and it's variants which would allow them to learn and use charms as a Solar would.
Second, we may also want something similar to give to allies, albeit possibly reduced in effect.

A couple of points to consider here over what Ise's repurposed piece system aims to accomplish.

1) Whats the goal beyond making our own harem team?

2) Replicating the Terrestrial Exalted / making or own version should be extremely

From an Exalted point of view the goal should be to make a host of Enlightened Mortals. With their aid we can build the infrastructure to not only create great works, those who strive for it will transcend beyonf human limits.

A package of awakened essence, exalted healing, and perhaps a other mods provides a strong basic foundation for our followers.

In turn we.can specialize even further by basing our pieces on the

The Sword, The Staff, The Cup, The Coin, The Ring

Aka Will and the four Virtues with a specific Virtue based buff in skills

Let's give them schoolgirl uniforms that increase their physical stats and give them each a unique attack.

Sailor-Senshi-sailor-senshi-6411051-1024-768.jpg

It'll also be a chance for Issei to surround himself with girls in short skirts and tight shirts.

Ise gets Bishojou (Sei)Fuku Senshi?

Replace the Sailor Suited for the full range of various outifts.

Mikos, Teachers, Racegirls, Catholic School girls, Office Lady, Police girls, Nurses

Or we could just ensure that likely Cutey Honey each heroine can don any guise she likes ..... as long as it includes Oppia

Poor Koneko...

Anyway, about Rias not having a relationship with Issei: I would like to point out that in canon, Issei isn't a pure-blooded Devil either, which is what she "should" be marrying.

What's more, the fertility charms we managed to gain access too, means that it's a less pressing issue. If Rias gets a few more siblings, the pressure disappears, as they have plenty of pure-bloods to "fall back" on.

Alex, if you want someone to write up some stuff for you, you could try asking Ack over in his corner. Mans a Machine, if you ask me.

Also, he wrote out the porn piece to another quest when I asked him to. He's mostly all about Worm right now, but if you ask him I'm sure he wouldn't mind helping you out.
Really? I will try asking then

Look at it this way, Issei's greatest weakness is people taking hostages, If we improve accuracy we can take out people without putting others near them in danger.
Accuracy serves to actually hit the target without him dodging or blocking. A Stint is better to do that.
megrisvernin said:
Alexander would a god of fertility be willing to suppress fertility on request? Say if a couple wanted to establish themselves first? Sounds like an easy consistent way to have Issei have active sex with an Harem without bringing up the issue of pregnancy.
It's...a bit difficult. Since, like, it runs counter wise to his very role? You would have better luck looking for an appropriate Charm.

We should propably include some sort of longevity function into our chess pieces.

Also, is our Lunar Mate running around somewhere?
Nope, Issei is only Exalt in DxD.

Writing...this will be a long post.

Thanks for the Class System ideas (ShadowAngel, Silversun, Smuthunter), Well, Let me try again:

Frontline Fighters:

Berserker - Boosts Endurance, Grants Mad Enhancement (controllable)

Beast - Boost Inhuman Traits and Strength

Saber - Boosts Strength, Grants Magic Resistance

Guardian - Boosts Endurance, Grants Magic Resistance

Lancer - Boosts Speed, mobility and movement Endurance (for long runs).

Rider - Boosts Speed, and mounted skills.

Ranged

Archer - Boosts Ranged Attacks, and sight.

Launcher - Bombardment Specialist, Magic or otherwise. Boosts Ranged Attacks, AoE.

Caster - Versatile Spell Specialist. Boosts Spells Power and efficiency.

Saver - Healer, Boosts Spells Power and efficiency.

Support

Assassin - Boosts Speed, and concealment.

Avenger - Boosts Concealment, also, damaging him or his peers boosts his damage.

Temptress - Boosts Concealment, grants Shapeshifting powers.

Ruler - Us, or perhaps our second in command. Has the Ability to see through the eyes of his peers, and communicate by Telepathy.

Ruby would fit Lancer, Yang can be Berserker, Guardian or Rider (motorcycle, remember), Mittlet I dunno, Alex haven't elaborated on her skills, Asia is Saver, through and through. Xenovia would be Saber, Blake can be either Beast or Assassin (having her as a beast makes me think of a catfight between her and Koneko), and Weiss can be our Caster. We'd still have Seven spots open.

Go with Beast for Mittlet as a default. As a Fallen angel & with oni heritage she should have some impressive nonhuman ancestry from that.

Too many, way too many combatants. Berserker, Beast, Saber and Guardian could be turned into one class, Lancer and Rider into another, Assasin, Avenger and Temptress into one as well as Laucher and caster into one.
We'll need maybe two or three different kinds of Melee fighters (Speed based, Defence based and Attack based), two ranged fighters (Physical based, Magic based) and two or three support (Buff/Heal, Stealth, Debuff), plus bunch of non-combatants.
