Brad hands the camera to Thoth, and shows him the pictures of the demon dude thing. "This thing right here is inside the forest realm, right inside the gate. Now either you can tell us what it is, and how to defeat it, or you can fight it yourself and deal. But you know what I think? I think that this is why you brought us here. You guys are so fucked that you couldn't handle this on your own, so you got us to come here and do it for you. So either help us beat this thing, and save everyone, or I'll leave and you guys will have to just deal with it."

Hensworth shushes Brad. "Now, now. Calm down boy. No need to be rash. I'm sure they have reasons for all of this." He turns to Thoth. "I'm sorry. He's just... disturbed I suppose. He saw that thing in the forest last night, and honestly, I don't think anyone here wouldn't be scared. And another thing sir. If you would, it would be awfully helpful if you could tell us anything and everything you know about 'Broodmothers'."

Several minutes of poking elicit no response, and a shock gets little reaction other then an amusing bit of frizz. Slightly annoyed, Damien grabs a glass of ice water from the kitchen and pours it on Adeline, deciding that if this doesn't work, he'll just have her carried till she wakes up.

"I'd also appreciate a bit of information on what to expect from the water and fire realms. I'm thinkin' of headin' on in there to see if I can't map out the immediate surroundings of those realms sos we knows what to expect."

"You don't understand do you? Do you think I want to sit here and do nothing? To watch as everything dies while I'm stuck in this Library? We have been bound into city limits and we cannot take a step out of it, but enough. I can say that I've never seen this thing before. Not in any of the books or resources available to me. More then likely however I can tell it is born from the corruption."

He fixes his glasses.

"Now then, on the Broodmothers? I'm going to give a quick guess and say it breeds a lot and more then likely has gotten to an annoying age as a monster. Old ones get powerful. Let's see, most broodmothers are of the insect type because of how many children they breed. Though some reptiles or other creatures do that as well."

"Finally to Adam. Knowing what I do about how the portals work and the locations you've got selected? I'm going to guess you'll hit on an Island of sorts for the Water Realm, and for the fire realm? That's a bit harder to tell. It's safe to a set degree but I wouldn't venture far from the Fire realm portal before getting some gear to tolerate the heat and various other issues there."

Damien is dealing with a comatose girl.

Brad sighs. "Then I guess we'll have to handle it. Hensworth, can you put me down inside? In a chair? Me and Thoth need to talk about some things."

Upon being splashed with water, Adeline's eyes widen. She then smacks Damien across the face with her pan, without the flames.

"THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING!?!? THIS IS A GOOD SUIT! IF THE COLORS RUN I'LL..... I'LL......"

Being unable to think of a word, the lady flais her arms in the air, then leaves in a frustrated manner. Fine, forest portal is out of order. She'll just hang around the ocean one.

Knocked to the floor by the strike, he lies there dazed, disoriented, vision fading in and out of focus. Slowly, he makes several attempts to climb to his feet, only succeeding with the help of his loyal minions, and makes his way down the stairs with a few more slips and stumbles, continuing on his way to the library, mumbling to himself in a seemingly random manner.

"Note...note to self...Adeline...is a damn bitch...In the future....what was I saying...oh, right...In the...future...do not assist...without compensation..." His rambling continues as his minions help him stumble his way to the library, growing increasingly incoherent the closer he gets. Opening the door and collapsing to the ground inside, the only intelligible word that can be made out is "Medic?"

"Alright then, thank ya kindly Thoth. That's all I needed to know." Adam says calmly, nodding his head in a small gesture of gratitude. "In that case gents, I'm off to the store to see if there's anything I can purchase that might help matters in the Water Realm. I'll be heading there to day just so's you know where I'm at. I'm off then." Mori then takes off, walking calmly till he's a short distance away from the library before jogging off to the store.

Aider and the others are looking at Merrick, pondering out how to approach him. Finally, Bris seems to get annoyed with all the waiting and, walking more or less directly through Parer's attempts to stop him, walks up to the Lunar Knight and makes a decision. "We... Need work. You need anything done?"

Hensworth hefts Brad onto his shoulder, looking around for a chair. He grabs the nearest one and places the boy gently into it. "There you go. And thank you Mr. Thoth. Now if you'll excuse me, I just remembered an appointment I need to attend to." Hensworth pats Brad on the head and heads off to the gym.

He goes to the store and is greeted by Caine.

And of course let's not forget Adeline.

She heads towards a portal and doesn't pay attention.

She's now visiting the Realm of Cerulis.

You have landed on a beach. Good for you. Large Palm trees are growing around and there is a moderately palm treed area to your back. But what you are staring at is the Ocean. The Water is so clear. You can see straight down to the bottom. In various tide pools crabs and other small creatures are living and moving. You can see a Cave underwater to your Left and to your right is a path upwards towards a peak.


With Rock Minions

"You want something to do? Hmm. You look strong. I have something you can do."

He head towards the back.

"I plan on expanding my backyard into a small orchard. But I've got all the junk in the back."

Camera pans over stumps boulders and various other things.

"Just expand it back as far as that tree. "

"Hey there. Listen, I'm heading off to the water realm here in a bit. Ya got any recommendations on what I should purchase afore I head out by way of curiosity?" Adam asks calmly and quickly, eager to explore the realm but calm enough to want to prepare.

Aider and the others look at the Lunar Knight and nod. "Thank... You... Will be done... Straightaway." Aider says simply and gratefully, before turning to direct the others. Before he can even start to gesture, Recher is already bouncing all over the yard, marking stumps to be removed, boulders to be smashed, junk to be tidied up and away, and every other job that should be done. Then he rushes back, waiting for the others to start their jobs. And his fellows do not disappoint. Bris calmly strides over to the boulders and begins to chip away at them, breaking them into small pieces suitable for paving stones. He even eats a few of the chips out of curiosity. Netto clears away all of the junk he can by himself with Parer and Aider's help, making small organized piles of the different bits and bobs that are around. And as the hours toil away, they all eventually get to work pulling up stumps and packing in dirt in their place. It is a long and tiresome job and they are glad for it.

Hensworth pushes the door to the gym open and walks in, admiring the building once again. It still looks empty. "Hello? It's Hensworth, one of the new town owners. You told me to visit in the mornin', but I'm a bit late. Sorry about that sir." He scratches the back of his head. "So, seeing as this is a gym, I was wondering if perhaps I could do a bit of training? I've been slacking off somewhat on my fighting skills and frankly, it looks like I might need them again."

Alpha's sight comes back. He was off. Sleeping. And now no one is here. The room is empty and quiet. He climbs out of the glass, noting how he displaced the liquid within it. Strange, it looks less full than when he got in it last night. Alpha, using all his strength, pulls open the door to the apartment and manages to get outside. After doing a bit of wandering around, he comes back to the portals again. There are two others. One in particular seems to call to him. He steps up to the portal to Cerulis, standing and staring.

Pain recedes as rational thought returns. Looking around reveals a small room, various medical supplies lining the walls, and a mostly normal looking man leaning against the wall smoking. White hair, scar going through his eyebrow, and a well maintained suit, and watching Damien with mild interest. Sitting up as the last vestiges of pain leave, he decides to strike up a conversation with the man while he makes sure nothing is missing.

"Uh...hey. Where am I, and who are you?"

Brad props up his leg, then turns to face Thoth. "I know that you and I have our differences, but I need your help. Since you don't know how to fight that thing with the knowledge you have, and can't leave to fight it, and since I can't go out galavanting on this leg to go fight it myself, I need you to teach me what you do know. Starting with Magic Theory. If I don't understand what magic is, I cant go around fighting magic beings with magic. And after seeing what that thing can do, I need to know this. I can't go out and learn by fighting with the rake, so I have to learn what I can how I can. Can you teach me? If you do, I will do whatever is in my power to let you guys out of town. But I can't do anything like that unless you teach me."

As you stand on the peak of the Island. You can see much further. It's not just islands out there. Floating in the sky are bubbles. Bubbles filled with water floating through the air. You can spy fish and other things just transferring and flying through to the next bubble to next. It's rather amusing. You do wonder how that works. Magic? Some unique physics to this realm or some simple thing you aren't seeing. But you do know one thing. You want to visit them.

You do spot Alpha popping out of the portal.

And the sand moving?

"Now that is a hard thing to answer. Depends on what you need. I mean thinking about it you'll more then likely need a bunch of stuff. Why don't you figure out what you want to do there and come back with a list. That's a bit more affordable option."

With Hensworth

"You're here. That's good."

Meet Vil. A rather large man that reminds you of Thoth in the face.

"A bit of fighting? Why not. I can help out on anything you feel like you need help learning."

With Damien

"In order? My Shop and My name is Zach. I'm a bit of a medic if you haven't noticed. But not much of one. My true job is selling some tricks."


With Brad

"Fine. I promised you if you managed to stay out of the chains to learn a spell. Here is a useful one."

He gets up and pokes Brad in the Forehead.

"It's called Off step. Basically makes it look like you are out of sync with reality. Or in layman's terms. Have you heard of the pokemon move double team? It's like that."

He goes back and sits back down.

"I prefer teaching like I did with the chains. Makes you learn something you'll need and gives you a reason to improve. But I can teach theory."

Brad adjusts his position in the chair. He motions to his minions to go, he'll be busy for a while.

"So tell me about magic."

"Mostly just wanting to map it out for the time being. Still though, I thank ya for the advice. I'll be heading off to see what's in store there. Take care now." Adam smiles as he thanks the shopkeeper, before heading off into the portal to Cerulis.

He enters, a peculiar taste of either minty watermelon or watermelony mints filling his mouth for a brief moment, to a glorious sight. Water. Brilliantly clear, brilliantly alive water. It's an astonishing sight and one Mori wishes he had the time to fully take in. However, there is work to do. And so, Mori does the time honored tradition of men faced with a choice and goes "Eeenie, meenie, minie, moe...", finally winding up at the decision to climb the peak. It may very well be a long day.

"Well. Thanks for that. Thought I was at the library, guess I ended up with a concussion then?" Everything seems in order, nothing missing, limbs moving just fine, minions off in the corner chattering to themselves. Wait a minute, what was that last thing he mentioned?

"Tricks? What kind of tricks? Maybe we can make a bit of business today."

Adeline speaks into the minion watch. "Hey, this is no place for fire! Its water for as far as the eye can see. It might be [size=8pt]best if you stay in the portal maybe..."

The mayor slumps into the sand. He's fine on his own she guesses. Instead she looks towards the beach for signs of civilization... or treasure X's to dig up tospend on more useless things.

Hensworth grins, extending his hand. "Nice to meet you, Vil." After shaking his hand, Hensworth cracks his knuckles. "And as for learning... well I'm not really sure. I suppose we could start out with some sparring. If you've got anything special in mind, I'd be glad to hear it."

Alpha looks around. Water. Water and sand and trees. He just stands there for a moment. It's so... compelling. No... that's not the right word. He feels... connected with the place. Alpha does see a mountain of some sorts, with some one on top of it, but that's just a thought in the back of his head. He lets himself be immersed in the surroundings, slowly wandering over to one of the many tide pools. Before he really has time to think, his body reacts, sliding into the shallowest one there. He pokes a sea urchin that rests next to him. What a strange place this is.

"Let's think. You have the water artifact. That I know. So the thing you should be working on is Blast am I right? A fierce burst of water to hit an opponent with, To power up your attacks or other things."

"The first thing you need to know is that it comes from the anchor. So if you know where it is spacially you can influence the path."

The sand down there moves again.

He spots something.

Hensworth pulls out his anchor and looks it over. "Oh yeah. This baby hasn't had much use, I haven't fought all that much yet. I do know it has this skill... Deluge? Yeah. Makes water come out. Used it to kill some slimes. It's pretty cool." He runs his hand over the smooth surface. "But yeah, if Blast is my next skill, then let's work on it."

Alpha stares up at the sky. Blue like the clear water. He runs an ice claw through the water, watching the bubbles form. He hears the crunch of sand underfoot and turns to see Adam. It's that guy. Alpha wonders where his minions are. Turning back to the water he's in, Alpha feels as though something isn't right. It feels like the ground is trembling. He dismisses it as wind and goes back to examining sea creatures.

Adeline remains slumped on the ground, watching the sand move. She doesn't respond for a while.

"Is it right for me to dedicate myself to a town if it means something else falls to pieces in my absence? I don't even know if they realize I'm gone."

Adam frowns upon hearing that, and sits down beside her. "Well now miss, I can't say for certain about that. It's tough to say in all honesty. I suppose it depends on what your plans are. And whether you're staying in touch with thems as you left behind." He stares up at the sky, resplendent in its beautiful blues of all sorts. He then flicks his nose with his thumb and starts talking again. "But that's the wonderful thing about living in the times we do. All sorts of ways to get in contact and see how things are going with thems as we left behind us. Mail, for starters, though I'm not entirely sure who'd be delivering to or from us." Adam says calmly, twiddling his thumbs a bit. "There's also phones. I'm sure there's some phones still connected to the outside we can find when we get back to town ifn ya'd like. All I'm saying miss is to not give up hope." Adam smiles at her, practically radiating friendliness and politeness. "Now, if you want a hug or anything like that, I ain't gonna say no, alright?"

Adeline gives Adam a hug. She is crying tears of joy.

This is slightly cut short by noticing the moving sand inching closer to Alpha.

"Umm... did you notice any shifting sand while walking up here?"
