Honestly, Volume 10 was one of the most awesome volumes to date. The entire Rating Game was full of tension, kind of like Eyeshield 21. Murata really knew how to draw an atmosphere to accompany the tension.

I can only imagine how our version of the fight will go.

To be fair the whole scene was written by BobTheNinja. If you have complains you should talk with him. I have a clear image of how Aika should behave but others, unless they are mind-readers, don't know it and have their own personal ones.

I'm still surprised no one commented on the fact Akane & Raynare might actually now be close enough, genetically speaking, to be sisters (kinda sorta).

Also I wonder if Issei having sex with Aika is going to get out. I will be most disappointed of Sona doesn't speak to him soon...

huh yeah they could actually be sisters in a way.

Also Sona must've heard about what we did at the church by now, especially since it resulted in Rias getting 3 new pieces(two of which are now teachers). So Sona will probably approach us soon.

Though there's another problem we might have on our hands.

However, the current Cao Cao differs from his ancestor in his focus on humans. With neither devils nor angels under him, he gathers all kinds of talent, but limited to humans only. This is the only principle the Heroes Faction stubbornly maintains, and is most incomprehensible. And to reach their goals, they will even use brainwashing to create members for terrorism. .....The Heroes Faction, that bunch. Were they humans who fought because they held deep beliefs in what it meant to be righteous or evil? After all, they are crowned with the description of "heroes."

Hmm, it really was difficult to understand...

However, terrorism is no good. Forcing people to do their bidding through brainwashing is too inhumane. No matter what the reason, from my perspective, such methods were "evil."

As I puzzled over this, Sensei questioned.

People born with the power to become heroes -- how amazing. From my perspective, it sounded so enviable.

"Heroes. When I was still a human, an ordinary human, they were the idols I admired and aspired to be. Fighting heroes... Uh, I'm a devil now, as well as a dragon, so from the heroes' point of view, I'm the villain now, right?"

This conversation from volume 9 just reminded me of something. We're still human. An exalted human but human all the same and we don't plan to become a devil. After word of us gets out, The Hero Faction is going to try to recruit us for our Longius and Exaltation abilities. This will only be compounded by the fact we currently recruited 3 other sacred gear wielders who also have rare and powerful sacred gears of our own. Then there's our own heroic tendencies and let's not even mention our ambition to make our own version of the evil pieces.

Its very likely that we'll actually meet the hero faction earlier then canon because of this.

Without them a Kami will eventually disappear and die, but if still has the second he will just enter a stasis-like sleep, and only a strong power can rouse him from it.

And there is it, the shrine: since the last time you saw it underwent restructuration, all financed by Bucho's family, and now it looks almost new.

When you reach the front two miko greet you.

The one with black hair smiles at you. "Welcome-"

"-To the Haruyama Shrine!" The one with brown hair finishes.

"You feel like the Sun, and also like a Dragon. So it's only appropriate to refer to you this way." He calmly explains before inhaling the smoke.

[Taiyoryuutei (Sun Dragon Emperor)?] Ddraig mutters to himself distractedly. [That doesn't sound too bad. The Sun is a symbol of the Sky, and I'm the Heavenly Dragon, so it should combine nicely...]

What is Ddraig talking about? Oh well: another time.

"I came to see how you're doing Tomofuri-sama." You go return to your initial goal. "Do you have enough faith now?"

"Wowooo, more of less." He releases two jets of smoke from his nostrils. "Michi-chan and Rin-chan are good miko, what they lack in experience they compensate with enthusiasm, but..." He shrugs. "Basically, there are few people frequenting the shrine. Not that I expected a river of people after my long absence, so I can't really complain."

"I see...so the productions of talismans...?"

"Is also going slowly, yes. Three or four at day."

Uhm, that's a problem: you would hate for Rias to receive next to nothing after she so generously helped Tomofuri.

"Do you mind if I take a look around the interior?" After receiving confirmation you do a quick inspection, first a mundane one and then you shift to Essence Sight. 'Bright-sensei, is this...?'

{Another Demesne? Being the home of a god it's only to be expected. This looks stronger than the other one.}

'You mentioned the possibility to build a Manse.'

{Yes. Technically, now you should be able to project one. It's the construction that will take time: without help of magical nature, 100 men will need a year to build the most basic Manse. Unless you use "Raise the Puissant Sanctum".}

'The last one, what is it?'

{Sorcey. Forget about it for now. This is also assuming those "leylines" behave the same as "dragon lines". Your technological level should reduce the time needed significantly, the same if you try to modify the shrine. But those things need wealth, and you're poor.}

'Ehi! I'm not poor! I...am middle class?'

She doesn't answer, but you can picture the smug smile on her lips. Bitch.

In Modern games Lore is the skill for computer programming, actually. So we're already a master programmer, we just haven't tried it out yet. There are programming charms in Shards of the Exalted Dream too, so we might be able to put those to use.

If we dip into Lore charms we could always hack the account of some terrorist cell or mob boss halfway across the world, drain their accounts dry, and be completely untraceable...

As for social skills, that is possible but not easy. Our Presence charms are useful for one-on-one communication and when we're addressing a single social group such as the Gremory peerage or our harem. But interacting with a group of random people off the street would require investing in Performance charms, which is not good for us.

Don't bring up the existence of devils or other supernatural beings if she doesn't but be willing to answer to comment on them if she does. Plant additional flowers around the shrine & have them blessed as well, spread a rumor in the school that a blessing from a kami at the shrine is responsible for their vitality & vivid flowering.

[X] Asia used to be a nun right? Ask if she & Mittelt would be willing to attract new members to the shrine. Get both of them Miko costumes(maybe modifying Mittelt's to make hers extra frilly) & infuse them with our exalted power, teaching them the use of Irresistible Salesman Spirit.

Miko Asia with Irresistible Salesman Spirit, that's dangerous...I'm adding Mittelt so she can stand as guard for Asia.

Let's think about the resources we have at our disposal first before we start on an acting career or something crazy like that.

1) We can always ask Rias if the peerage would be willing to help out with advertising the shrine. More advertising means more payout in fertility charms so she'll probably jump at this.

2) We can also get in touch with the Japanese pantheon. The fact that we're trying to rebuild a Japanese god's power would probably gain us a fair bit of good will.

3) We can dip into Lore charms and pick up the First Lore Excellency, God-Mind Algorithms, and Firewall-Defying Method. Then we go on a rampage across the internet and hack the accounts of terrorist cells and other groups who could use a good bankrupting and who will be helpless to defend against a Solar hacker.
