Trials of the God-Harem King [Highschool DxD/Exalted] (CLOSED)

"And your idea of [fun] is juvenile at best, infantile at worst."

"...You do realize this means war, right?"

"Now this, is what [fun] is like!"

The comment by Bright pissed off Ddriag and he basically challenged her to a fight which she accepted.

Oh and the mysterious group of mundane people that stretch across the planet with their enemies centered in Japan is clearly the assassin organization from Histories Strongest Disciple Kenichi. Its been referenced before in this quest actually, ?Ragnorock? is a minor training organization they set up along with quite a few others across the planet. And I mean minor as in they are training minors to be lethal assassins. They don't start off with killing in them... anyways the reason why I am bringing this up. I want to enter the plotline before ?Ragnorock? gets hit by the good guys so we can enter into a tournament from that story line. It should be a nice quick way to make a bunch of experience in a very short amount of time.

I think the History Compilation Committee is going to come away with a very...interesting view of Issei. I'll post my thoughts after completing my reveal omakes...

Why did we do that two our friends without input.

Our increased awareness should surely show how much of a dick move it is to our buds and definitely to Miltan. I mean I'd cry if my friend sent a girl to my house with the express purpose of her being horrified by me. And further with out social abilities we could convince them to clean up ten talk a girl into hanging out with them. We go to a school filled with girls after all.

No one knows about the connection between ragnorock and that assassin group yet. And we still have yet to actually meet with anyone from ragnorock yet. So I'm not quite sure what you mean by that... ???

In fairness they really aren't making a good show of themselves.

Asking a friend to set up a date for you is asking a lot in the best of cases.

"You! You actually know lots of cute girls, don't you!? Rias-senpai! Akeno-senpai! They are the "Two Great Onee-sama" of our academy, you know!? Then our school's small idol, Toujou Koneko-chan, and now the blonde beauties that just transferred, Asia-chan and Mittelt-chan! This is wrong! It's so unfair that I'm about to break!"

The particular way Motohama is asking has a nasty underlining current. "You getting along with so many cute girls! Why aren't I going out with any! Unfair!). He's treating dating as something he's entitled to, that he has a right to instead of a privilege girls might grant him. He's not asking himself, 'Is Issei doing something that I should? Maybe he has something I don't?'. He's not considering their feelings at all, even asking to be placed in a circumstance when he might prove himself. He's asking for them delivered. That they're asking Issei, makes it seem like he has possession or control of the women in his life. This is a sort of sentiment that I've seen in some patriarchal societies like Japan I don't like.

Of course while wining is annoying Motohama takes the cake. Jealousy is one thing, but wishing ill-will to someone else is a whole nother ballgame. I have no sympathy for them.

Issei has a very mature reaction. 'Is there someone I'd actually want to set them up with'. The answer is clear resounding no.

I'd note that Issei doesn't quite have malicious intent listening to Ddraig's plan I think he's taken his comments as straightforward advice.
Well, if he proposed it he should be very confident it will work. He is the one with thousands of years of experience after all.

Of course seeing how they react when they accept his offer doesn't help. Issei's a bit disgusted with how flippant they are. Even when he thinks about & realizes it's not going to end well for them well...

These guys are just pathetic. They keep on changing their attitudes. You just hope this experience will really help them.

See my above post. We basically have confirmation at this point given how many clues have popped up, and I am estatic about that. Its a great series and I look forward to issies reaction to that one specific master. You know the one.

Fair enough. I didn't really mean in reference to them, but sometimes I get lazy & quote instead of scrolling down for the reply button. I more meant Eiko's appearance & Issei helping out Tomofuri-san.

Eh its not like Issei was far different before God and Satan decided to throw him a bone. And setting up a date for a friend being something onerous makes it seem like you have terrible terrible friends.

Even if there attitude were a bit ignorant ( in a way Issei himself was) Issei's growing up through experiences that have been hidden from them and they can't match at all. He's the better party in this and what he did is not just a dick move it's a no bro code dick move that hurt Miltan by using him as an object to provokes disgust and horror and saying you find his dream laughable at that, and it's a betreyal of the trust his friends have in him.

Milf-tan? You either have some really weird taste in "women," or you mean Mil-tan.

Oh Issei's being terribly hypocritical I agree. He really hasn't been that introspective about the changes he's gone through recently & is being a bit unfair here. That being said again it doesn't excuse either of his friends behavior.

*nod*. It's not malicious. Issei did place some trust in Ddraig. Unfortunately Ddraig really just wanted to troll them & by the time he figgured it out he was so disgusted by how quick their attitude towards him he washed his hands of the matter. Hypocritical & a bit unfair, but not...malicious certainly.

Well to be fair. If we look at how Issei was at the beginning of this quest. There is a good chance that he might have acted exactly like them. Especially with his beginning comment on envying Kiba. The thing is though, that when Raynare asked to be his girlfriend. That changed him, with him going from one of the perverted trio to someone who was willing to put his all into the relationship *at least before she killed him anyway*. And he's continued to grow with the knowledge of his first crush that girls are people too.

So helping his friends get girlfriends could change them for the better, just like with Issei. They just need the chance... Or the relationship might crash and burn. It'll be up to them though whether they learn from it or not.

The thing is Issei doesn't know that many girls who don't either want to jump his bones or he isn't in a position of trust/mentorship/power over that asking them to date his friends would be problematic. Mittelt, Yang & Rias, Akeno fall into the former, Asia, Ruby, Eiko the later. The only viable list is either Aika, Raynore, that other former Fallen Angel, or Abe.

Potentially there's the gardening club & those two new members but they are smitten with Issei.

If those two are going to grow up, its going to be them who make it happen, we have no say in it, and any attempt otherwise would be wrong, and probably fail.

But I'm never going to agree with the people who want to 'save' them, so lets stop talking about it.

This ep was amusing, it looks like Eiko is not shy at all about her intrest, which amuses me, I thought she may be one of the H-scene potentials, the other two I thought were Akeno *she did mention some things earlier with the lessons, but Issei put her off until things with the Fallen Angels were cleared up.* or Asia, with Mittelt AND Aika working on her she may well get over being shy sooner then in the mainline, particularly if she dosn't have to worry about her actions hurting any of her friends.

On the whole Ragnarok, Satsujin, Yami thing, awesome, I was hoping this was a thing when Snake showed up, Berserkers old gang, which probably means the 6 month timelimit was how long it will be until Ragnarok absorbs them.

It may be intresting to meet the Masters at the Rozenpaku as well, particularly if we hit 5 Martial Arts aka Master level before then, Miu is a sweety and even if we don't snag her including her as a friend would be fun.

All in All things are looking like they will be fun, one thing with Eiko we may want to try and get her to raise her Compassion a tad /laugh 1 Compassion when her master has 5 may be a little, well it will cause fun times I'm sure /laugh

and the Mil-tan thing, well, Ddraig set it in motion, but all in all I think it was well done, particularly after the twin idiots have been trying to torpedo Issei's new popularity and such.

i don't want to NTR kenichi; he's almost fairy tale level in love with her. I'm good with with our wooing Renka ma though.

*snort*
Issei hasn't actively pursued a romance with any of the women in his life. Mittelt & Aika just...happened. At most with Yang we used some innuendo in a fight & gave her a good bout, she did the rest.

Any woman interested in us will pursue because of their own feelings, not ones Issei actively cultivates. That said if they like, they join the group. Issei won't betray feelings someone gives us.

What Megrisvernin said, and for all we know Kenichi may not even exist here, and if he does if this is before Ragnarok started moving he may not have even meet Miu and the masters

Oh, I don't know, a Drill Seargant Routine could be fun. For us, that is, not for them. If they want us to show them how to be worthy of a girl's affection, they're going to have to earn it with Sweat and Tears and Blood, and the first thing we'll demand is to burn their porn have them hand us their porn 'to dispose of'.

At this point I'm going to be pretty hands off. If they come to us asking Issei why girls flock around him, or for what they need to do to improve themselves that's one thing. Actively spending time improving them is an enormous time sink with questionable results.

Frankly the stakes are high. People with powers are being abducted, the Masquerade threatens to collapse & far too many factions are interested in us. I just don't see us having the time without a Time Turner, or similiar hax charm/artifact for increasing the number of hours we train.

Well, there are two things we could do. For one, we need to start learning how to delegate some of the things we need to do to our friends/followers.

The other thing is actually following through with the quitting school option, just to get more hours in a day.

Not only no, Hell no, School helps us train Int, it also gives us contact with Rias and co, dropping that is a bad bad plan, the amount of extra time it gives us won't have that much effect, particularly since we can just skip and such if it comes to that.

I thought school stopped raising Int a long time ago, ever since we boosted lore up to dot 4.

nope, its been chugging along raising our Int training, thats why we are almost finished the required training 25/30 and all that. plus its helping with Social and other stuff, particularly now that we are interacting with others. Hell it even got us a Cult rating, we leave school we will probably loose that as well.
